Lynn and I are ghost hunting tomorrow night at St. Louis, Saskatchewan to try to take some pictures of the Ghost train and maybe some old churches. I will post the pictures on Sunday. Our equipment is 2 cameras, a camcorder and DSC-H9 Sony camera(8.1 mega pixels), a paint ball gun, and a flashlight. The paint ball gun is to scare off any wild animals. It saved us once b4...long story short: the 2 boys have paint-ball guns, and I’m a kid too and I have one. We were walking on a path by the SK river one day, and there was an black bear that just suddenly appeared out of a bush and it came towards us. It must have whiffed the potato-chips that the kids were eating. We all shot at the bear in fear and it ran off. So, it works.
We are going to arrive there before 12 midnight…the usual time when the light appears and walk down the trail where the tracks used to be. There is so many stories and theories have been told by the locals(Prince Albert, SK) about this place. There is suspicions that there is a few hoaxers(maybe “the farmer” ) is the shining the lights.

There is signs not to trespass. Well, this is Saskatchewan and the no one is going to be around. This is the long weekend and everyone is going to be gone to the lakes.
Here is the best of the best that I have in Photographs. I have held back some pictures to post.

linked-image -This picture was taken in a grave-yard by the Prince albert, SK Penitentiary 2 years ago. What I see in the picture is someone sitting. I picked up the bench and placed it back on the tree. It was blown over…
http://i32.tinypic.com/98ahkz.jpg this picture really scared Angela, my 10 yr old daughter,…
linked-image -This picture freaks me out because the pareidolia look a lot of me-The way that I used to look like in the mid 80’s in when I had lived there. The shirt strikes me and the half of the body*. Last winter, my son, had taken my new digital camera to his gf’s house. I do not what happened the camera and my son didn’t have a clue to work it. The pictures were intriguing and they had taken me way back.
linked-image -Pareidolia of my deceased bro. Quite striking..
*He had died in a train accident…I have told the story in the way that he died here in UM Ghosts...

Really sorry to hear about your brother, Primordial. I must have missed that thread.

Coming from England, it's really odd when you hear people talking about the possibility of running into bears and other wild animals. I think badgers are as wild as it gets over here. happy.gif

Good luck with your hunt, please let us know how it goes.

It looks totally out of place to me LOL..I have never seen a glob of white mist/ectoplasm that belongs on someone's stairs..So THERE!! LOL ((LS))
Lord Storm
Don't make me come over there ((JN)) grin2.gif It looks like a glare issue with the camera. The shadow on the stairs is solid but in the picture the sunlight from the wall has caused glare which has eaten into the shadow making it look like mist. If you look at the other sunlit areas on the picture see how the glare eats into the dark areas... grin2.gif Makes them look misty and blurs the edges. innocent.gif

I see it too, I just think there is too much light cast on that wall, and no one knows what is up there that can cast that shadow. As it also seems that the images themselves are a bit blurry.

Yes alot of them are out of focus. But I did notice this and found it interesting. Then again, who knows? Thanks..JN

I'm sorry about your brother also.

I see the creepy stuff on the stairs but I don't see anything in the other pics either.

Although it's none of my business, why are you showing 'scary' pictures to a 10 year old? If I saw something frightening, I believe I would keep it from my child, especially if it was upsetting her.

Hello UM. Lynn, Angela and I didn’t quite make to the St Louis, SK to see the Ghost train lights last night. My 2 other kids, boys, had went to an Metal Show in the city of Prince Albert, SK. They really wanted to go to see these mysterious lights but they had chose to go some open concert that is full of Goths.
The evening was nice n along the way we have found a secluded graveyard that is hidden behind some trees that was half a mile from a gravel road. There were only 100 or so graves and some were children and infants. I had my Sony camera battery fully charged hours before and it died there as I was taking the few pictures. I was greatly disappointed because I had looked forward all week to ghost hunt with it. I was also puzzled on why did the camera battery died there. It spooks the hel outta me. I am going to post the pictures and I never had time to scrutinize them. Please tell me if you see can anything. Thank you.
Later, we had a picnic at Fort Carton, SK to past the time. The Sun was setting. Angela, by the fire, was the awesome Story Teller this night. She was talking about almost each episode of the popular tv show Ghost trackers. We left the picnic at 11 pm to catch the St. Laurent Ferry. We arrived to the dirt road that will lead us to where the train tracks used to be. I parked the van and we walked about 15 minutes and we seen lights alright,..it was teenagers partying. There had to be at least 20 or so cars. They also seem to be a rowdy bunch because I could here them yelling and beer bottles smashing. Two girls were pushing at each other at one point. I did not dare to go there n by pass them with Lynn and Angela, so we had to walk back.
As a result of it all, last night was a little of a let down, and my 2 boys were glad that we didn’t go, so they can go.

Angela pointed out this one...

Last night I had the chance to do some ghost-hunting with the camera. Lynn was off work early at 8pm. We decided to add herbicide around the graves( bro Bill, parents&grandparents) to kill the weeds b4 adding fresh dirt, and flowers. We had arrived late at the Muskoday church and the sun was setting( 9:06 pm). I had taken a lot of pictures n’ learning all the options and menus of the camera. I do enjoy the Nightshot/Infrared but most of the shots were blurry. Actually, I was getting to be frustrated at the poor shots, though, there were some pictures that had came out “good”. I am still learning this camera(DSC-H9 Sony) and will master it. I do regret in not buying a Nikon.
Once, I really had thought that I would never ghost-hunt at the place where my parents/relatives are buried- I am feeling shivers just in typing this post. I was surprised at myself last night, on how brave I was to go inside the church in total darkness, and started taking pictures. After about 20 or shots taken, Lynn and I began to feel strange as were slowly walking up aisle to the Alter. Maybe, this creeping up feeling was brought on by me in trying to capture a Ghost. I had paused in taking pictures near the Alter because I could hear breathing beside us in a empty pew. Lynn went back to the church and switched on a light and everything about the Church inside was peaceful. I had continued on to take more pictures and we went to the basement. We only ended up at the foot of the stairs. Lynn was beginning to feel something was wrong n’ she would hear something at after each picture that I take. She never had told me as of yet on what she heard. And, I couldn’t go any further..I just couldn’t go into the dark. It seemed that there was an boundary. A fear.
After each shot, I would quickly look at the picture on the back LCD screen to see anything unnatural. I scared myself in frightening thoughts of someone that might be suddenly there.
We had went back up stairs and the spot-light outside that shines on the church was turning off and on. It was off when we had 1st arrived.
The church is about to be torn down because of the black-mold and whatever else festering up. I will post more pics this year in the while that we are fixing up the 5 graves, and will purchase a tripod. Again, if u don’t see anything, its ok..

I hope I don't offend, but is it possible you're not objective because of your loss? I can certainly imagine wanting to see my loved one.

I DO believe. I just have had different experiences than many here and I just think people will see a ghost in anything.

Yea, I do miss my bro a lot. No offence. It has been since Oct 3/1987,12:03am since the time he had passed away. Now or today, I think that he is only an Dream, though, I do think about him everyday and the others. I only want a snapshot of someone that I can really identify to assure me that there is a life after death. My utmost wish or..dream is to capture an picture of my brother..or anyone that I might know.
I know that the last picture above can be nothing or is nothing… it is not enough for me and you to believe. I do confess that it is a bad picture, out of focus, and I do see the Pareidolia of my bro. The picture only makes me..wonder. I apologize.
What I want is a full apparition and I will get it. UM is great motivator. My wife, Lynn, is a little concerned about my fascination in Death, Life after Death, and exploring graveyards. She does like going out into the country, etc n finding new things but when I actual do the actual Ghost Hunting(w/o kids): I do scare her, and she tries to avoid the journeys, but she ends up most of the time going out with me. She was scared of something that night at the Muskoday graveyard, and I do find that this is good news, because now she understands on why that I couldn’t actual Ghost Hunt there, and the Fear was genuine.
Lynn and I are going back tomorrow to dump some (expensive) dirt by the graves. There is going to be at least two truck loads. And, I will be taking more picture to add including an house that is supposed to be haunted at Davis, Saskatchewan. Also there is a graveyard that I didn’t visit for awhile. The last time that I was there when Lynn and I were doing some gravestone-rubbings

This is a picture of my bro’s grave. It is very blurry and I was new to the Night-Shot. Sorry, but I will take an better picture in day light. You will see what I will look like…but older. He was born May 11th 1967 and I was born July 22nd 1968..

Regarding the first page pics I see a dirty lens and sun glare. grin2.gif

Regarding the inside church pics you're using a bright flash in confined space with bright walls and lots of shiney surfaces. I've gotten the same effect many times with both digital and 35mm. Can also be from the camera settings (lens and exposure). Not paranormal.

not trying to say anything bad...but when i look at the photo you posted of the alter and isle and how you said to the left you seen a face, i cant recall the post # but, it looks like theres a little bit of object light reflection because i look at the seats and the lights and they kinda look like they reflect off and produce a second image of them but in a redish color.

Primordial, I lost my brother at the age of 27 so I know exactly how you feel. The pain never goes away, it just gets a little easier. But remember, he is with you in spirit always will be..I like your photos esp this one. Something about it is very interesting. Im sure many may blame reflections or light coming in. But to me its just different. Thanks for sharing. JN

I do also like this picture too, JustNormal. I wouldn’t have posted it because the glitches in the photos, but it is inspiring to look at, and so many might see it as Paranormal. I know that we all here share a bereavement of someone so close and we all do heal in Time. I am over his Death and there is only memories...
I have a very good intuition that there is something there. I had always felt something there as an child n growing up. Now, its different…
I have this new feeling of trepidation or guilt in the past 2 days, that I shouldn’t have taken those pictures for only the sake of proof of the After-life. I used to worship there…
Though, I think I am getting close to something. It feels like a foreshadow of something or someone is going to let me “know” and it’s not going to be nice. I do hope capture it on the camera, then again, if I do have the Proof of Ghosts..what will happen to me? Will the Universe suddenly break down and change what I am? Will I go back to Ministry?- Maybe deep underneath of this Atheist heart..maybe I do. I never had that “Calling” like most ppl do. I did it bec it was an Mystery.
There is no experts in the Paranormal and we will never know that something might be there. The picture just took me by surprise..
Lynn and I never had the chance to bring the materials to fix up the graves visit Davies, SK. Angela wanted to go to the show Walking With Dinosaurs in Saskatoon. Awesome show!

linked-image I always shut doors securely of any place when we ghost hunt..Lynn and I just realized this today. Freaked us out. Will post more pictures this summer, and I think I can work this camera now. I know someone that has the DSC-H7 Sony camera. She had seen my problems and told me what to do. original.gif
