A commercial on the History Channel listed Dragons among the crytids that will be examined in the new season. No scheduling dates have been set, but this thread will be updated when the date is announced. It is nice to see the worlds oldest and still most believed in crytid will be featured.

I vaguely remember seeing a Discovery Channel special where they were visiting a supposed cave where a dragon was frozen in the ice... does anyone remember this? It was in some Eastern European country I think but I dont remember the official explanation they gave. The look on the hosts face when they finally climbed to the caves' entrance was priceless.
Maybe it was dinosaur fossils or a mammoth... or maybe even a dragon.

I'd love to know what it was. Makes me think of the Brno dragon all over again.

At the very least it would be awsome to see what they have to say. Monster Quest has some interesting episodes that have ran.

In your opinion. Nothing more. Just because you throw out such silly statements over and over, does not make them true.

I posted about it in one of the myriad of old dragon threads before, brief summary and picture
here.
Proves, to an extent, that an alien creature in a land can be mistakenly called a dragon.

I watched this one, it wasn't actually a real show about dragons, it was a hypothetical "what if" kind of show, examining how that would change what we know about biology and such should anyone ever find proof that dragons ever existed.

Well, I'm looking forward to this. Please post the time if you have it.
I imagine it will feature a discussion of the current and ancient legends, and the cast walking around the areas of any sightings, at night and whispering dramatically.

That'll be cool. I've always been a fan of dragons even though I don't believe they exist. I always read, or watch stuff about them though anyway.

Hooray! Another Dragon thread

Just what the board needs.
Draconic Chronicler: This topic really belongs in Paranormal TV and Media doesn't it? And I though the Moderators suggested that Dragon discussion be featured in your blog from from now on rather than on the forums?
Nonetheless, sounds like an interesting episode, I wish Monsterquest aired here in New Zealand.

Awesome about time Monster Quest did something about a famous creature such as the dragon... (and werewolf which wasn't that bad of an episode). Hopefully they will find SOMETHING to either definiatively prove wheather dragons do or do not exist... I know they won't but hey I can dream can't I

That's exciting. (: I'll be glad to see new episodes of this. The only thing I don't like about it is on certain topics (IE: Thunderbirds) they didn't do any investigating at all. They just told stories. I have a feeling that's all they're going to do on this too.

Even though i am fond of dragons, Keoshin, I can't think of anything that would be definitive proof other than:
finding a corpse
or one popping up and saying "hello" (and hopefully not becoming the former).

Dragons are not the most believed cryptid, dspit your claims Draconic Chronicler. Do you really think that the people on this forum are an untypical sampling of society who bizarrely do not accept dragons as fact like everyone else? Ask ANYONE, ANYWHERE in the world, they will say "No". And if you tell them about Yahew and the changes made to the bible and asian religons etc. they will say "Well I don't believe that, that's crazy."
Who are you kidding?

I really don't think this topic was started to provoke an arguement. ): If you really want to criticize him, do it over PMs, it's getting completely useless, senseless, and old to keep coming to topics and seeing NOTHING but pointless arguments between you and DC. I'm not a mod, but God am I tired of it.

I'm so sorry to upset you so horrendously, but my post was nigh on a joke; it is nearly identical to a post he sent me supporting his theories, so I was just taking a crack. I'm not going to start an argument. By the way, to do the sad face, you do a : and a ( in that order, and it makes a

I'm looking forward to this. I'd never seen this show before, and you guys make it sound like it is actually pretty good. I'm looking forward to seeing it. I have it on my DVR now, and the 1st episode is on there...nice.
So there's going to be one about dragons, eh? Well I'd like to see it, since I, not meaning to insult anyone, have no idea why anyone thinks they ever existed. I mean, from what I know, there is no evidence, or basis in fact, only the belief of them in certain mythologies. Now again, not to insult here, cos I know there are a lot of people here who are interested in this, and frankly, I don't really know much about this subject, this crypto, so it'll be nice to hear about it. I'm skeptical of them, obviously, but hey, I'm open to about anything. Look forward to seeing it, then I'll know what you guys are talking about lol
