Hogzilla! Dang! They doing a show on my ex-mother-in-law!
supervike
Hogzilla?

Are subjects that hard to find?
MoonPrincess
2009? That long? Ugh. I don't want to wait that long. Why are they airring the commericals now when it's next year? What's the point?

I hope the "monsters" are interesting.

i think they are trying to prove that hogzilla was'nt a pet somebody killed.i live 5 minutes from north carolina, and i have never heard of a vampire beast down there.
i like the show, but they had like 6 episodes on bigfoot/bigfoot related creatures!

No kidding. ):

I looked forward to so many episodes of this... especially the werewolf one. Then there was one bit on that episode about an "ape-like figure standing on a tombstone" and I thought, "Well, why isn't this just a Bigfoot episode, then?" Because it was such a crock. Bigfoot pretty much envelopes all of their themes in some way. ):

Their thunderbird episode is one I looked forward to the most, and all that one was was stories and reenactments. Didn't even try to do research, except for that ONE clip of like, 58 seconds or whatever.

Whoo. Hogzilla.
And a bat thing no one's heard of?

Have they really run out of things to cover? They should take hints from Destination Truth.
Da Kid
I really liked some of their first episodes, but it's hard to get into them when the subjects are so weird.

Wootloops
Destination Truth > Monster Quest ten times over.
Plainbob13
Monster Quest Marathon monday. Just to let you know so you can get your bigfoot fix.
Shankpin
I haven't seen it, but I bet it's a good un.
Pluto-x
I like Monster Quest... its in no comparison to Destination Truth. D.T. is much better.

I just like the different legends they cover. I love the equipment they use though! grin2.gif

I love Monster Quest as well. Ver interested in what they'll be looking for this season. I agree that they should take some cues from Destination Truth. Popobawa, anyone? Even though it WAS kinda debunked, haha. Still, I liked the stories.

Or heck, what about Lizard Man of Scape Ore Swamp? Kinda ties in with some recent developments...I wonder if they'll check into it.

When they cover Bigfoot, it would be much more interesting if they showed a proper investigation, and record their findings. Do it a bit like Ghost Hunters. I am interested in Cryptids, but Sasquatch is my favourite, and it would be interesting in seeing them showing the results at the end with all the evidence they have compiled.

openmind1963
i love the show.it pisses me off that they search for bigfoot or his cousin in every other episode though.why are they investigating hogzilla?
Jason KB
Anyone have any ideas on what MonsterQuest SHOULD hunt for this season and in following seasons? Im thinking:

Lizard Man of Scape Ore Swamp
Pigman
Mothman (they havent yet, have they?)
Spirit Mimics (Maybe not technically a monster, but kinda sweet just the same)

I don't know. Someone's gotta have some other ideas though. And anything has to be better than Hogzilla, so don't be shy.
Pluto-x
The new episode seemed kind of dry to me? It was lacking something?

Lizard Man would be cool?

Dover Demon?
Jersey Devil?

MrBryson
In my opinion this was the weakest episode yet. It was a bunch of hicks (well, one guy named Hicks at least) running around Texas looking for pigs. Lame.

Have they done a chupacabra episode yet?

Ya know what? Im not positive, but I don't remember one. That'd be SWEET!!!
Pluto-x
I think they did? But I'm not sure... I think that was an episode where I think they figured out it was a strange dog like breed that crossed over with a wolf or coyote?

Did they ever do a Megalodon episode?

Pluto-x
Could you imagine running into this while fishing or swimming??? laugh.gif

Monster Quest June 11th - Lizzie Borden Ghost.

You've gotta be kidding me.

-Pol
Pluto-x
Say what? I didn't know Ghosts were Monsters? LOL

They should stick to their genre? Though they do have some pretty high tech equipment. I wonder if they would catch any ghosts in an investigation with their high tech equipment?

MoonPrincess
In the commerical I saw them flashing "ghosts" and "vampires."

June 11, should be interesting. Never heard of it.

Though I do agree. They should stick to it. Of course there isn't many "monsters" out there.
Jason KB
Yeah, I guess it's possible they did do a Chupa episode. Sounds kinda familiar now. I'd look it up, but I'm really just too lazy.

This show disappoints me. They've already looked for hogs and now they're going ghost hunting later this season? What the hell? I wanna see monsters, darnit. There's dozens and dozens of legends they could look into from all over the country. Probably wouldn't lead to anything, but still....looking for pigs and ghosts belies their format. Weird.
Pluto-x
I like the show but I agree. Its disappointing sometimes. There's a lot they could potentially do.

The Lizard Man
Mothman
Jersey Devil
Dover Demon
Ogopogo
Phoenix
Thunderbird
