Did anyone watch the scifi show on the crystal skulls? I tried to but it was so full of BS it made the Goldfield and children of the grave look real.
Wallydraigle
Yeah, it was pretty horrible. I'm kind of glad they dragged Hoagland into it, just for the comic relief.
bankai26
well the idea of a clear crystal only growing in 0 gravity is intriguing! unite the skulls before 2012. what a crock!!! i mean it was interesting but at this point can't see much but reaching... i mean the myan civilization thought a lot of things were gods and crazy folklore... same civilization todaywould not of made up so much speculation, it would prob. have been done to modern technology and ideas... we know a hell of a lot more today than the myans did... i can't believe they have die hard scientists jumping on the bandwaggon... it would be interesting to see if we really can recreate them or not!
Ebonykrow
I watched a few minutes of it, about where they were diving for the skull. Which was pretty stupid if you asked me, how many other people would have tried that before them? It was a little interesting in parts, but it looked like it was mostly for killing time.
LIGhostChick
I watched it & found it interesting. Why is that an less believable than Stone Hendge or the statues on Easter Island?
Phase 3
I watched it, i hate how people think the end of the world is really coming in 2012. Let alone that the crystal skulls can prevent it. on january 1 2013 i wonder what will be the next end of the world prediction.
Plainbob13
Looks like SciFi is showing a repeat of the crystal skulls. just in case some of you missed it.
bankai26
Did you all see the suposed robot head found on the moon? What is the deal with that? i know they showed a picture and said nasa denied any knowledge of the incident? and the other article that said about the end of civilization as we know it if information like that leaked out. Does anybody know where to find the full article? or is it not real?

Looked like a rock to me. then they tried to use the face on mars thing agian. People look for things that are not there.
bankai26
but the real question is if it is true(which i doubt) would they tell us??
~Cheese~
I watched the show.. It was kind of dull
Bear's Quest
Does anyone remember the show "In Search Of..." with Leonard Nemoy. He did a segment on 'Crystal Skulls' -back in the 70's.

Truth is I haven't heard much about it until recent.

If it wasn't for the new Indiana Jones Movie, there wouldn't of been a peep about it.
Amberlight
Yeah, it was pretty bad. I thought it was so stupid with the conspiracies with the government, NASA, robot heads, the skull hunter who found ruins then "oops" couldn't dig because he "didn't have a permit, and that could take months" Ummm, sorry, but if you were coming to dig WHY WOULDN'T YOU GET THE PERMIT MONTHS AGO? disgust.gif

Oh yeah, and then swimmimg for an iron box in the ocean for a few hours then oops, the "current was getting too strong." People who look for treasure in the water looks for months, sometimes years and still never find anything. It's so lame to think they were going to magically find anything lying around in an hour or two.

The crystal skull was actually purchased from Sothebys auction house, the rest was a complete fabrication.

Lame, lame lame
Phase 3
I don’t know guys maybe there is a big conspiracy and they r actually Crystal Skulls hid on the moon and Mars.

Not they wouldnt tell us. The government would never tell the people if they found signs of life on another planet. Just like the whole UFO thing, they claim there is no such thing but then why do they have protocol on what to do when they encounter a UFO. If you strongly believe that there is no such thing, then why have a protocol? I heard that on some UFO special a while back & then I read something that said the same thing.

Dream on Ghost Chick.

You couldn't be more wrong.

See Here.

Explain that within your "coverup" scenario.

It's just a personal opinion Harte... plus I did say that it was something I saw on a show. It doesnt mean it's a fact. We'll never know.

So, you do think the government would tell us if they found evidence of life on another planet?

I mean the answer, obviously, is yes they would.

Afrter all, the Government has already told us this, right?

see in that pic it looks like the face features have been added after the fact but yes this is what i was talking about swamp. weird photo if it were true. i couldn't even imagine the implications of finding something like this! i mean what would that do for religion as a whole. i know this is not the thread for religious discussions but generaly, wow it would be crazy.

IMO No I dont think they would tell us everything. I think they would only tell us whats convinient to them. Otherwise why hide what happened in Roswell?

Sure, but that's another subject, isn't it?

Here's what I was replying to:

That show had to be the stupidest thing I have ever seen in my life! I forced myself to watch, but had to jam my eyes with an ice pick afterwards! I think that pretty much says it all!

Most kindly,

Sean

I highly suspect SOURCE is simply 'giving me the business'. grin2.gif I'll bet he couldn't watch the whole thing (not without a great deal of beer at least!).

Actually, a quart of Jack would've made the experience a whole lot less painful, but then, why waste it on something so teeth-grindingly bad in the first place?

However, I stand by my statement that everything shown in that documentary was true.

True - There are crystal skulls (man-made of course).
True - Stonehenge exists.
True - Mars and the moon both exist.
True - Hoagland is part con man - part fruitcake.
True - The Mayans did have a calendar that ends in 2012.
True - There are rocks on the moon that can be mistaken for something else.
True - Some people believe that energy lines traverse the earth.
True - The guys diving for the supposed black box looked like idiots.
True - Some people believe that Atlantis once existed.
And finally, it's true that the programs being shown on the sci fi channel are getting crappier and crappier.

Okay, so that was a long way to go just for a joke. But that's my story and I'm sticking to it. tongue.gif
