I highly suspect SOURCE is simply 'giving me the business'.

I'll bet he couldn't watch the whole thing (not without a great deal of beer at least!).
Actually, a quart of Jack would've made the experience a whole lot less painful, but then, why waste it on something so teeth-grindingly bad in the first place?
However, I stand by my statement that everything shown in that documentary was true.
True - There are crystal skulls (man-made of course).
True - Stonehenge exists.
True - Mars and the moon both exist.
True - Hoagland is part con man - part fruitcake.
True - The Mayans did have a calendar that ends in 2012.
True - There are rocks on the moon that can be mistaken for something else.
True - Some people believe that energy lines traverse the earth.
True - The guys diving for the supposed black box looked like idiots.
True - Some people believe that Atlantis once existed.
And finally, it's true that the programs being shown on the sci fi channel are getting crappier and crappier.
Okay, so that was a long way to go just for a joke. But that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
