I thought up an idea a while ago to have a bunch of people live in a haunted place for like 6 months. Like a Real World or Big Brother but in a haunted house with mandatory ouija board sessions, seances, bloodletting ceremonies, satanic rituals, haunted artifacts, etc. and if you see a ghost or have something happen to you, you get eliminated.
I just don't think that 1 or 2 nights in a haunted place is enough sometimes...

You know, that's actually a really good idea. I'm not sure how you would execute it, you know, to keep it from being soapy, and boring, but that's a great concept. It reminds me of the famous ghost hunter Harry Price and how he and these other investigators stayed at the Borley Rectory for a few years. That would be great!!!! It would have to be a REALLY haunted place.

Nice idea but unfortunately it's too easy to plant stuff around the area to fake paranormal-like activity. Most people would freak anyway.

I have another idea about a show called D.A. Dad.
It's a District Attorney who is also a single father.

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of staying in a haunted house?

Maybe he meant it as it's a "haunted" house. Group hysteria, now that's an idea I can get behind.

It sounds like an awesome idea but like MasterPo said, it would be too easy to fake things. I dont know if any random person who isnt into the paranormal would last in a real haunted house. It would be pretty funny to see people pee their pants of freight.

Sheer brilliance!!! That's actually a brilliant idea! 15 unsuspecting people sign up for a reality show, are told that they are satying in a haunted house given a false hidtory for the house etc. and when someone has an "experience" they are kicked off. The veiwer, however, iknows the whole time that the house isn't really haunted.

If you penalize people for seeing ghosts, I think that would weed out potential fakes... and kind of "up the ante" for drastic things to happen. I wouldnt wanna sit through someone crying and getting upset over an orb or a shaking chandelier. Seeing a skeptic's gradual breakdown into fear or a ghost really harrass someone in particular would be great tv.

I think a lot of series are taped over eight weeks, but that is still good.
As long as they did not know they were there because it is haunted, so they do not start imagining things, I think it would be great.
Maybe they could be told it is a reunion or re-enactment of live history or a dating thing.
That would also add enjoyment and drama when nothing is going on.
It would be fun as the film crew pointed out and asked about things happening how it would gradually dawn on them what kind of building they are staying in.

Both ways would be awesome as hell.
Bella- A dating show as well? If you really want drama let's throw in Tila Tequila for the hell of it to, lol.

you've mentioned this before in another thread.... in todays society reality tv is hugely popular. If the right people heard your idea it would be popular, i think. I don't care for all that real world blah blah crap. but i think most would like the show. I would like to see sceptics go to an actual supposed haunted house, and see what happens. It be cool if they could scientifically(might not be true science but whatever) document for like 1-3 months....

This one's a lawsuit just waiting to happen. If one of the contestants don't die outright of heart attack, they end up being emotionally scared by the event.....

I think if this ever was to happen, alot of waivers need to be signed & they need to get people that know what they're getting themselves into.
