Perhaps we could set up a sub-forum for welcoming new members, so that these threads are not cluttering the off topic section (seeing as it happens very often).

Also, I was thinking maybe we should include something about music (in general) in the description for the Writer's and Artists section. Many threads get started about music, I figured we could just pile those threads in that section.

Also, maybe include something about witches, wicca etc. in the description for the Metaphysics section. I'm sure Althalus and CW would appreciate that. Then someone can include more information about that stuff (seeing as it is unexplained as well).

I had some more ideas, I will reply when (or if) I remember them.

I know there is a sort of 'dos and don'ts' list for posting on the forum, but perhaps it could be placed at the beginning of the 'new members' thread...perhaps avoiding inane thread-lines
and 'multiple personality syndrome' as well.

We used to have a section like that, it was called the 'Community Board', but I eventually got rid of it due to lack of interest. There wasn't really enough subjects of that nature to warrant an entire subforum dedicated to it, most people used the off-topic board to post their welcomes so I ended up combining the two together.

'Music' is already listed in the description for that section, unfortunately the space available for board descriptions is rather limited, so it would be quite difficult to fit anything much else in there really.

Again, there's only a small space in which to include the information, which makes it difficult to expand on the board titles and descriptions. I could try changing the title to better reflect the range of subjects covered in that section, but I haven't been able to come up with another name that will fit in the space available.

I'm open to suggestions.
