I will try to relay this story to the best of my ability. But it seems to me that whenever I am speaking of it, or writing in down it does not come very easy.

When I was about 9 years old, possibly 10. All I wanted was a telescope for my birthday. I had recently visited the planetarium and I had a nice map of the stars. A telescope would have helped me out alot.

Well, I got what I wanted and that night I went to my friends house to try it out. My birthday is in the beginning of August so it was a nice summer night. My friend and I layed on the hood of her grandfathers dumptruck and took turns looking through the telescope.
We got bored with the spot and decided on going out into the street. Once we got there I spotted What I thought was a very low to the ground plane. I decided this would be perfect for my telescope..and I put it to my eye. After searching around with the telescope to my eye I found the object I was looking for..which was now not far above the telephone lines.

It was a spherical object. I say spherical because im not sure if it had true definition. It almost seemed..glowing perhaps. And it was LIGHT grey. It was not the typical saucer UFO types I read about.
But when I focused my telescope as good as I was able, it seemed to catch a look at me staring at it..and zoomed off. I was so startled and a fear of some sort crept over me..I slammed my telescope into the ground (breaking it) and ran home crying.

I had never spoken about this experience much. But during a conversation online with a new found friend the subject of UFO's was brought up. I finally told him that I thought I seen a UFO at somepoint in my life. He also said he seen one as well.

I asked him to recall his account to me. He said it happened during the summer when he was 12 years old (I would have been 9 at the time) and he was in his room playing..when he turned to the window and seen a spherical, light grey object hovering a few feet from his window. He said after that he didnt leave the house for around two weeks.
I asked him what month he seen the object in. He replied "August."

So, he and I seen the same thing, around the same time. I still do not know if it is safe to call it an alien spacecraft.

Anyhow, I am looking for people who have had similar experiences..or may know what I am talking about.

Ive seen a UFO but dont like telling about it much either because it was your typical looking UFO and unless it is described as your unusual non-typical flying object then no-one really believes you. I was on a plane on the way back from a holiday in porjagal and everyone was sleeping and everyone had the blinds closed on their windows, as i can never sleep on planes i spent all the time glaring out the window it was day light and the plane was just starting to lower its self. I was looking at the clouds and i thought at first i was looking at a tiny clouds in-between two large clouds but i took a more focused look and i notist that it was moving in the opposite direction as the plane and at the same speed and that it was like a mirror and reflected the sun but was tinted a darker colour it was a typical UFO but i saw it clear as day. It had a curved top and bottom. When a realised what it was i was chocked cause a couldn’t believe what i was seeing and i tried to get my mum to look out the window but she wasn’t interested cause she was sleeping and i didn’t want to start making a fuss like a looney within a few second it was out of sight. I regret not getting my camera out my bag up to be honest it really didnt enter my mind as i was so stunned

I too had an UFO account, just maybe but really intriguing. This happened approx. back 3 years ago. My dad and bro were out to the grocery store when they saw this UFO's, but it was to be announced later that they were just lanterns floating up the skies, some stuff done by local chinese temples , but that's not the case for me.
At that time when they spotted those lanterns, they quickly called back home to inform my family about it. And me being an UFO freak, grabbed the binoculars and went outside pronto. I looked directly up the skies (I had no idea where the UFO's were because my dad and bro and I were too excited, so we just forgot about it) and what I saw was a different one. It's fairly little in size, like one of those stars but you could spot it out as its glimmering lights were a little odd. I focused on it and it moved (!!! How da heck would a star be doing that?!?) southwards very slowly for about a minute, then switched its direction to the north-west for about 2 mins, then reversed at the opposite direction before vanishing altogether after approx. 2 mins later. Seriously my heart skipped a beat a second after that. I told my parents about this but they said it's just a lantern , this old people, you can't just knock anything inside thier. head
But my bro believed what I've said and till this day, I dunno what the heck was that but that's surely one hell of an experience as it's the first of its kind for me. It could be a mistake though but chances of it are like only 22%.......
