Can you remember what the settings were ? I used SLR's from 1974 till around about 2000, when I went digital, and never saw anything like this. I'm puzzled as to how, what is essentially, a small shiny object can create such an effect.
well the camera i personally was using at the time was a Cannon AE1, it was many years ago that the photo was taken, so i definitely can not recall the speed of the film that was in the camera, though generally 400, can't recall the F-stop, shudder speed or any of that, but it really did happen and hopefully i can find the photo somewhere just to show you, another thing this could be if taken with 35mm film is, a light leak in the developing process, either light could have leaked through the canister or could have leaked through the actual camera, but light leaks often turn out that color as well.
i can't say this is not paranormal, but i can't just jump and call it paranormal either when there are things that this could be.
also just recently a girl in our group was taking a photo with a sony cyber shot (i belive) anyway it was just a regular point and shoot digital camera, and there was LED lantern in the room, and you should see the artifiacts that caused on the picture, the photo is posted on another thread here "real or fake" anyway camera's can be very decieving, especially the way light contamination and reflections can show up. having been both a photographer and worked in photo developing for MANY years when i was younger i saw a lot of things in photos, all completely natural.
