Hello everyone, I just made these swords today and I was wondering what you think of them

May i ask why you made wooden swords? just curious

lol yeah sorry I took the picture with my phone. Well I'm going to an anime convention June 26th so I have to make a sword for me and my sister. These are just test versions.

why not!
they look quite 'swordy'....single edged hack and slash types.

nothing wrong with making and playing with wooden swords, i used a shoto for years doing aikido.

yeah, and I'm going to rap cloth around the hilts. I'm still debating whether I'm going to put guards on them or not. I'm probably going to paint them all white, rap black sash around the hilt, and somewhere on the blade I'll paint the Kanji symbol for "Darkness"

They look nice. You must have put in a lot of effort. It looks almost flawless. Would love to see coloured pics. Will you get silver paint? Or maybe even gold paint? Will you get a pattern around the hilt?

you mean why would I make swords? Well, I dunno, I was always just fascinated by them.

By the way. Do you want silver paint or gold paint on the sword? The blade part I mean.

probably gonna use silver, I'm not a big gold fan. Oh and I decided that for my trade mark I will have two kanji symbols going down the blade. The symbol for Dark and the symbol for Wind.

you mean the convention? No but I am anyways. Me and my sis want to enter the costume contest. I'm going as Shirosaki (that's the character in my avi)

If I do go, i'll just put a sheet over myself and tell everyone i'm pretending to be a ghost.

Oh is there any food there? Why don't you go as some anime business man and carry that sword? you'll be the center of attention. Contrasting stuffs are usually eye catching.

Yes they have a bunch of weird Japanese food vendors there apparently. And yes that would make me the center of attention but it wouldn't win me the contest.
