Well I've been on the fence about this topic for a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong time. How do you balance God with ETs? If people would close their mind to what they see in art & what they have been taught to believe who God is, what angels are & what demons are & open their minds when they read the bible, it becomes crystal clear. It never made sense about the sons of god coming to earth to have sex with the women of the earth, it does now.

Man is in a spiritual war with himself & man is also in a war with certain beings & entities that mean us no good. They are whats seperating us from God.

Another thing you guys should study is the Ark of the Covenant given to the Jews by God. The Ark was not only something to hold the 10 commandments. But it was also a weapon. My ancestoral bloodline can be traced to Israel, and our surname came out of Israel and can be found in the Bible in Luke 24. As a matter of fact, the spelling of CLEOPAS, was the original spelling of our surname. Like you, I have always interpreted the new Jerusalem to be a large ufo and in Isaiah(I think I have spelled it right-I have always had trouble spelling the name right because of all the vowels) any way, I think you mentioned about them coming from the far ends of heaven to the Earth. My memory is not acute at the moment, but I know it is either in 3:15, or 5:13, the quote to which I refer. In newer translations they change it to 'They came from the far ends of the Earth', which is should be Heaven. I knew then that we were already being told what to look for in the sky and what to expect.

I don't believe all E.T.'s are fallen angels. As I do believe that there are other worlds and other civilisations made by the hand of G-d. I believe that we have every reason to believe John Lear. He is one of few which know a great deal about aliens which I believe are frequently visiting us. The reason the aliens seem to acknowledge their existence to nobodies in unnamed cities is because it is the best way to keep it confidential.
While there is no reason to believe there is life on Venus, there is no reason not to. NASA tampers with their photos and information so much we don't know what to trust anymore. And besides there may be otherworldly organisms which could survive in extremely gassy environments such as the kind that NASA claims Venus to be.

And a random question: Why are the aliens seen as the bad guys and the demons that corrupt us? Even if they did give us enough technology to blow each other up with it was our decision to do exactly that. The aliens, if they did so, have nothing to do with it: There is no need for extraterrestrial demos in our existence when people like Bush are already here. Why hasn't anyone ever suggested that maybe the aliens were only the inspiration for the heavenly descendants which exist in so many cultures? Why hasn't anyone suggested that maybe the God we know is something totally different?

And BTW Jesus saves from eternal suffering of the spiritual type. There is nothing that stops us from becoming dust. That is the only certainty in anything: Sooner or later, everything will DIE. I simply believe that "aliens/bad angels" don't like us because we are inferrior to them in terms of knowledge, understanding technology & we simply haven't been around as long as they have. Remember the bible says "Let us make man in our image". Now imagine for a moment God has been with these beings for so many years we don't even have a word in the english language to describe the length of time. Suddenly God makes our solar system in this part of the universe & he decides to make "us", a lower life form than himself & that of his "angels". In doing so he commands the angels to cater to us like its told in Genesis.

Some of these angels who are clearly superrior to us get pissed off & say no, because in the grand galatic scheme of things, we humans are equivelent being ants in the universe. The fallens ones said they weren't going to worship, help or take back stage to a lower life form on a primitive planet.

A clone of you wouldn't be you, it would be an exact phsyical copy of you, but nothing more, a twin if you will.
It would have its own thought processes. its own spirit or 'soul'. Although a soul or spirit is an unproven & nothing more than a human interpretation of free will.

I think he's being sarcastic about the symbol that we Raelians have. It's the symbol that our ET creators use and it's the oldest symbol on Earth. The swastika means 'infinity in time' and also 'well being'. You'll see the swastika in Buddhist religions, Hindu religions and all over the planet. It's been found in American Indian cultures and even in Jewish synagogues thousands of years old.

The name of this thread should be "Why UFO's Can't be Officially Recognized by the Government". Indeed, what the original post says is basically true in regards to what the Bible says. In fact the post-er has missed some of the more damning connections to ET's/end times in the Bible but this only shows how durable this hypothesis is and will be in the future. This is why the government can't officially recognize ET's. The post-ers basic hypothesis is airtight in the Bible (fallen angels corruption of humanity leading to end times). Certain Christian churches in the US are already teaching this doctrine. Problem is, what if this is wrong/unintended and it is simply a tragic coincidence that this Bible thesis does neatly fit to the ET scenario? The obvious result of ET contact would be a battle between people that believe this and the rest of humanity (i.e. non-Christians vs. Christians). To make the Christians cease the conflict they would have to suspend their belief (or understanding thereof) in the Bible. To them it would sound like "c'mon, just give Satan a chance". On the other hand, those on the other side would be pretty peaved with the Christians for depriving mankind of science, knowledge, medicine, and even life itself. Yea, it would be a battle to the last man. Problem is, what if the Bible is not to be taken literally, that the human/star people stories in the Bible are actually based on ancient Egyptian / Sumerian stories of mankinds creation from the Sun and stars they thought were the Gods, that begat humanity, and then the Gods came down and mated with the previously created humans, and so on. Throw in mankinds extrapolation of these stories in books like Enoch that then infiltrated the New Testament and you got what we've got now. When I first read the entire Bible and understood this apparent distressing message, I could envision the battle between us (the Christians) and the others. The violence I perceived was brutal because this was truly a prophetic battle of good against evil - Satan and his followers - so anything goes. Yep, back to the Old Testament kill them all - men, women and children. Then I thought about who "they" would be. Many of them peaceful eastern religions and other non-violent types, but I had to put this out of my mind because they were "in league with the Devil". Then it hit me, if this is what it takes to follow the "prince of peace", then I guess you can count me out. It is inconsistent with Jesus's message of love for your neighbor and non-violence in general. Jesus didn't write the Bible and he never said he did, the Bible mearly attempts to convey his message via various different authors with certain biases and presumptions. A basic message that comes through is "love your neighbor as yourself". If you can justify what I'm sure the ultimate result of this literal interpretation will be while adhering to this main tenant of Jesus, then I think you are`fooling yourself. If you can love you neighbor while assuming he is in league with the Devil in pursuit of destruction of your immortal soul - then I would like to hear how. Pick a side, peace or violence. If you do and you can justify this to Jesus's main message I can see only one path and it doesn't associate ET's with Satan's angels. But maybe some however can judge their neighbors as such. Woops, what does the Bible say about that? These critical issues must be resolved before ET contact can be made. We aren't ready yet and this thread proves it. Understand the governments (and the ET's) conumdrum now? But, this is just my opinion and position. For those that subscribe to the literal Bible position can you tell me why I am wrong? Maybe this is a start of a process that will work itself out in a 100-500 years or so. Talk about playing the Devil's advocate...Peace.
