Hi all

I am back after a two week break.

Have to tell you about the strange but exciting goings on in my house over the past week. Now as some of you know I am a researcher in the paranormal field and kind of sit on the fence, a sceptical believer so I am still trying to figure out logically what was happening and cannot come to a rational conclusion yet. Any suggestions would be great.

Okay here goes:

A day before my b/friend comes to see me his father who has passed over walks past my livigroom door. Do not want to go into details about father but just to say that he has done this before. That evening the lights in my house blow. Two light are only left working and after many failed attempts at fixing the problem I have to call an electrician in. Now that was probably coincidence. However the day my b/friend comes to my house there is a sudden increase of energy, you can really feel it.

The oven that worked perfectly before he got here packed in. Coincidence?

I was walking out the kitchen one evening when heavy footsteps come running up behind me...no-one is there. That was scary!

One day we were in the bathroom no-one else in the house and I hear the televison in the kitchen. Now I swear the tv was not on when we were having breakfast. in fact the plug switch was off. So I go down and yup its on, there is no remote comtrol its an ordinary push button tv.

Another time we are now actually watching the same tv and it turns itself to another channel in front of both of us. Remeber there is no remote control.

We both experienced sudden and severe head pains over the few days which could possibly be psychosymatic or maybe a psychic attack of some kind and I had a very horrible experience of not being able to breathe, I could not catch my breath at all. Could be down to a panic attack but I have been very happy recently and under no pressure.

And of course the cold spots and the sudden chilling breezes rushing through the room. Now my heating has been on full blast, no windows open no doors opening.

Now my researcher hat goes on and I have to say that to me this sounds like a typical haunting of some type maybe poltergeist activity. You see its very difficult for me to judge because it happened to me. When I am dealing with other people its easier because I am not involved, if you see what I mean.

Me and b/freind have laughed about this. Feel it maybe his Dad. However I was not scared by any of it. But after spending years in haunted locations I have become fearrless anyway.

What do you guys reckon. Was this classic haunting or was it coincidence. Was this psychosymatic? Your views would be great.

Hi Dreamrebel

Thanks for the input.

You see I was thinking psychosymatic but I am a reborn sceptic [LOL] and do not have the need or desire to want to see. I feel personally that ghosties and what not are to do with electromagnetic fields etc rather than what the average ghost is perceived to be. And of course as you said the desire to want to believe.

What has got me wondering is the footsteps behind me and the televison changing channel in front of us although that could be psychokinesis. And then for a tv that is turned off at the mains to turn itself on.. Maybe I am going mad after too many late nights doing investigations in other peoples houses. What may seem strange as well is that i have no desire to have a stakeout here either, maybe because deep down I am a little uneasy and this is my home. Anyway forgot to add that the activity has calmed since b/friend has gone home. Maybe its b/friend who is being psychokinetic??
