taken with a film cam a few years ago. i was heavily into the ouija board at the time and i supose these were hanging about.

had clothes rippling on radiators, stuff moving etc etc, dont do it now and never will again its not worth the hassle.

I have seen many photo's like your one and suggest to you that what you see is more than likely a strand of hair or the camera strap. But thanks for sharing.

hi lottie, i have heard many explanations like that. and sure i cannot catagorically say it wasnt a hair, but even so the camera had no strap !! nd i got short hair

That definately looks like a camera strap.

I have some pictures like this....when I went to 'haunted' Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.Other people on our trip had these types of photos too and they were on display in the 'haunted tour' house.I saw MANY of these photos.They are your typical ghostly manifestation.

Yes, it could be a hair, but at the time my husband had no hair and he was taking the pictures.

A Vortex is, well you know when you pull the plug out of the bath and the water goes down the hole and makes a spiral, well thats what it is!

babs. i presume a vortex is some kind of energy, from what i can glean from all the usual sources, web sites, books etc. i have seen vortex pics which are obviously straps and the like, but the photos i submitted above seem to have depth to them, like a spiral structure inside the main "body" of it. vortexes are frequently photgraphed around new born babies and children but by no means are restricted to this.

i have nothing to prove here, i am just sharing some weird stuff which i have come across, as this seems the place to do it.

Maybe it is a portal...some kind of opening_a vortex_that is.

hmmm, doors..... i agree that there must be a point in space and time where a breach is possible, even created intentionally allowing whatever to enter. so i thinks yes they could be a door kinda.

some researchers think these votexes,(whats the plural for a vortex!!!???) are intelligent and move around like mini tornados. it certainly looks like it to me as the majority of them arc away from the floor as if grounded somehow whilst moving along.

I've seen them in other pictures on the net...what the heck could they be? Are they like orbs? I have had different colored streaks in my pictures, too, as if something is in motion...flying fast.I guess these are ghostly manifestations or UES's (unidentified energy sources).

i got some awsome orb pics babs. ill post em. id like to think that orbs were enery things as well. but having done a little research into them, i have created the same effect with dust in the atmosphere, the end result is the same. but whos to say that they are not "real"

heres a "genuine" orb photo, either that or my mates house needs a dust.

this one leaves a trail behind it, if dust particles can move like that in 1/60th of a second (the expose with flash) then good luck to it!!!!

The plural for Vortex is Vortices I think. I have had a simialr thing in one of my pictures of my sister at gymnastics. There were also a lot of orbs in the picture. The "orbs" I think were dust, but the pink thing wasn't a camera strap. So I'm thinking hair. It's a dirty place that gymnasium.

yes i agree about the dust, but some with trails cannot be explained that way.

I have some with trails.I have to figure out how to post them...that may take some time.

Yes. lol I guess dust doesn't fly around fast enough to leave that kind of a streak.
