Personally, I pretty much hated this episode. I never really thought a giant hog was a monster. And, quite frankly, this was a poor way to start off the second season. I dvr'd it and ended up just scanning through most of it. Pretty boring, I thought.

i thought it was a waste as well.i do'nt mind seeing stories
about hunting on the outdoor life channel,
but not on monster quest.

I missed it. *Sighs* I'm sure it would have been a good episode. For me anyways.

:/

I guess I'll watch the next episode.

Check your local listings, I'm sure it will be replayed a few times this week.

Next episode is about a vampire beast of some kind. It sounds a little more promising than the hogzilla one. At least theres some level of mystery to it.

I have to admit I wasn't looking forward to 'Mega Hawg' at all, but it really wasn't too bad.

Although, I thought it was a bit laughable when they caught a wild hog, put a camera on its back, and then realized they couldn't really get decent reception unless the hog was in 'line of sight'. Pretty much made that useless, if you ask me.

But, I honestly felt the same way about 'giant squid' (which was the first episode of this series). It's interesting, but not 'monstery' enough.

Okay. Maybe it'll reair this weekend. ><"

Oh cool. :3 That sounds more interesting than "Hogzilla."

Thought the same thing. It was pretty crappy for a first episode.
What's "monstery" about a domestic pig, for real? ): I mean, they basically said that one of the hogs that was shot (a big black one, don't remember where it was shot) was domesticated because of the skull's properties. A large wild hog is a little strange, but no different than large specimens of other species. Make an episode of that twelve foot Kodiak bear that was shot. That was a monster. http://www.oversizeoutfitters.com/trophy_r...es/Tedbear1.jpg

I was all excited about this show, I'd never seen it before. So I watched some of the marathon episodes, like the one about Champ, the Sasquatch, and Stalin and the ape men. Those were pretty cool. The hog episode sounded so stupid I just deleted it from my dvr. Hopefully it will get better, I was really psyched about this.

I want more episodes of ufo hunters on history hahaha that show is GREAT.

Ill have to check out UFO Hunters on History Channel. I havent seen an episode, but I know there's a few in my VOD. So, maybe tonight or tomorrow....I'm on it.

As far as Monsterquest, yeah...I think that Hogzilla episode was almost universally panned. Tomorrow night is Vampire Beast, so let's hope that's better.
Phase 3
Speaking of UFO hunters I wonder is it ever going to come back on Sci Fi.
