Kind of morbid I know.... but when you die... do you wish to be cremated or buried... and if buried, buried in the ground or placed in an above ground mausoleum?

Not really bothered to be honest. Probably buried in the local cemetary. At least someone, should they wish, would have a gravestone to look at, rather than just a name inscribed on the wall.

um...hmm... Must admit, not the sort of thing I think about...

I must admit, I do have this mortal fear of being buried...and yet the idea of being incinerated, and my family being given a little box that's 90% coffin ash isn't very appealing either...there's something very morbid about having the remains of your relatives displayed in a little vase on your mantle

I guess, when my time's up, I'll just go under like everyone else. No sense in anything extravagant...although who knows, maybe I'll get blown up first

I plan to have my brain removed and frozen, so that military scientists of the future can implant it into a high tech battle robot, i shall then strike fear into the heart of my enemys, and take over the planet macross style with other robots.

I want to be cremated and then thrown out to sea and have a rose tree planted or something for the people I have left behind. I do not see the point in taking up space after death and besides I hate the idea of my body been eaten by insects and reduced to a disgusting squishy mess! Just get it over and done with I say because we are after all an empty shell once we die.

Either that or give my body to medical science....

I wouldn't mind being frozen with hopes of coming back to life someday in a cool advanced world.
Though I'd have to have some of my friends agree to do this with me cause I wouldn't wanna be all alone in a strange new world either. But then I could always make new friends in the future if my current friends don't agree

I think cemetaries are a huge waste of space personally. We are wasting so much land to bury dead bodies inside caskets.

Already paid for cremation. It's quick and simple. And the way I'm having it done who ever gets my ashes only gets a small amount of cardboard box with me.
I would like to be spead over the ocean. But hey, if they flush be down the can. no big deal.
I don't like the idea of wasting land. So sticking me in the ground is out of the question. Don't want to be dug up in thousand years as part of a schools science project

i am thinking now that I want to be cremated. Before I would like to donate any organs I can and I would want my ashes used for something. Not displayed.

i honestly dont care if they throw me to the dogs, im thru with this body, the dogs can have it. or they can use it for experiments, or disasemble it for organ donation.

Well seeing as you want to know , I intend on being cremated and sent out on the outgoing tide . The place where the land meets the water is the entrance way to the next world after all .
As for the ashes on the mantle , I knew a lady that used to carry her husband around in her handbag , that's not even the best part she used to talk to him . "Are ya all right in there 'arry ? "

Actually if you want to be really inventive you could allways scatter your ashes across every continent in the world by just ringing in a few of the UM members . No trouble at all..

I would like to pick whatever way is the least expensive. There is no point of burdening my family with the disposal of my body. I don't care what happens to it, I won't need it anymore.

My uncle is not THAT old, nor am I...quite. He did indeed meet him after. He didn't go into details but it's quite possible he took care of the head. Try as I might, I could never get him to introduce us.

I would like to be cremated....and then...um....yea....just cremated...and like planted in my garden...that would be good

I want to be eaten. Not by a human, a natural predator, like a bear or a cougar. Basically I want to live out in the wild only with what I can make myslef. Basically ?I would like to do battle with a bear with nothing but knife and a spear.

i want to be buried in a card board coffin so that my body may decompose quickly, and i can nourish the earth from which i have taken so much from!

and anyway cremation produces too muck co2, and the world has more than enough of that as it is, so think about it, burial is giving to the next generation, and cremation is taking away!

so think of the kiddies and book your card board coffins now!

and before someone says 'what about the land that we are depriving future generations of', the land used for cemetaries will stay green and not be turned into a car park, and the grass of the cemetaries will also use up some of the co2 that the cremation crowd are producing, so we are giving back in that way too!

This is a really big tossup for me. I don't like the idea of wasting space in a burial ground....


but I don't like the idea of being burned either. It would be all too sad if there was a repeat of "Meet The Parents" or something, with the ashes.
