Ok, this is port trouble!

I have AVP 2 Multiplayer Demo (downloaded from www.download.com). I try to host a server (dedicated and under any bandwidth) with all the port ranges (2300-2400TCP, 7000-10000TCP, 27888-27900UDP) forwarded and Windows Firewall is letting the server through.

My scorched3d server runs perfectly. What happens with AVP is that no one on the internet can see the server, but my own LAN network. The server shows up both on the LAN servers list and the internet servers list.
And it appears, in the internet list, with the default port assigned "27888" but it is on my LAN IP.

So the game is using the wrong IP address; where it should be using my internet IP, but it is instead using my LAN IP.

How do I fix this, there has to be a way...even if it is just one way.

Well... it says demo.. unsure.gif

It works once in a while...Means that even tho it is a demo, it should be able to host.

It isn't my firewall, since I let it through, I am quite unsure if those are the right ports that are forwarded, but those are thhe ones I found on my google searches.

Could it be the fact that I am using Wireless 802.11n?

Wireless is not good for gaming. Probably you want to try to connect your computer to your router, if it has some ports left. But I doubt that's the real problem. Or... try to set all of the security off, including antivirus and firewall..

Oh, trust me man, I have hosted servers on this same computer before and it has worked fine. So I don't think wireless is a problem...If Empire Earth and Scorched3D can do it, so can AVP, I will try shutting off security, but highly doubt it's that.

BtW, Zone Alarm firewall, which has been completely removed, messed up my IP settings (this was much more recent than the AVP issue, so no, ZA is not responsible), which forced me to set up a static IP address. So I think that this might help...If it does, I will be fond of Z.A.
Star-Struck
Nothing helped so far, I have tried everything...
My static IP was supposed to be my original Ip settings before Z.A. messed them up. Windows kept detecting IP conflicts, so I changed the IP from 192.168.1.103 to 192.168.1.104. And I also changed my forwardec ports IP's to the new IP, all to no avail.

I diabled all my entire security (except updates) and no avail.

Obviously if the server works once in a while, it means that it has been made to work. Meaning that it being a demo shouldn't be a problem.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
