)i just found this and dont remember it when i was a kid (i was 11). i seem to remember that there was L.A. olympics , but thats about all and it's beside the point anyway... 
. anyway.. i just watched it and it gave me chills, how cool and weird at the same time- kindof scratches my disclosure itch ive been getting with all the ufo/mars-life in the news again.
just imagine .. (the real version that is..) the moment of open- face to face contact.
weird though that they did it, there seems to be less of the 'ufo= crazy' vibe goin on then. i mean closing the olympics?- that's pretty mainstream/global. maybe it was tied with 'close encounters of the 3rd kind.' (the communicating was the same-not the notes though .. in case you're keeping score.
) i know its late 70's early 80's (close encounter was released).. but not sure exactly, havnt looked it up yet (too lazy atm.. that's right.. too lazy to click a button.)anywho.. was pretty cool-thought id share it.
