Im sure alot of you know about the whole conspiracy behind Area 51. Some therioes are that they obtained alien technology and have used it to make flying machines and nuclear weapons. Others say aliens and human alike work togrther within the compound.

Without a doubt, I believe that Area 51 has alien aircraft, time travel technology, and much more. Yea, it sounds like bull when you hear about it, but if you were to google it, you would find it believable. I think that the government is covering it all up, and for a good reason too. If only we knew what goes on in there

Why would they have alien craft there if that place is supposed to be secret? Now that everyone knows about it, whats so secret about it?

from what I understand not a whole lot is going on there anymore ( although still you can't get near.) . at some time in the past it is said that a new base in Colorado I believe it was has been established to take it's place .

I'm not too sure that google should be able to sway skepticism. I guess it's possible that a downed UFO may have been taken there but we don't have any primary documentation supporting that notion. I think it has been, and probably continues to be, a test site for new aircraft design and weapons technology. That doesn't mean it's alien though.

I can tell you one thing though, and this is personal belief but they don't have any sort of time travel devices. In fact, I don't think there could ever be such a device because it would involve the notion of backwards causation, which has to be false. Otherwise why don't we see time travelers all over the place?

This site has some good info on area 51, and Skunk Works was based out of Burbank, but did testing for the U2 spy plane at area 51.

The reason for all the secrecy was because most of the research was done after WWII and during the cold war era. The government couldn't allow ANYONE to leak info for fear of spies and what-not.

Rumors about this, rumors about that, well, it's still secret because no one can get in to verify anything. The rumors play beautifully into the government's hands, the wilder they get, the more the truth is obscured..... and protected.

I think it is really just a place to test aircraft and other weapons...more of military base. Some of the aircraft is modeled after 'UFO's' and other deemed alien space ships ha-ha. Plus, they have some people in their more like office work that do remote view and other stuff like that.

I remember when the first book came out Project: Blue Book or something goofy like that . . . I've always thought it just urban legend stuff, cool though.

I think that it's purpose is to concentrate everyones attention to one place whilst all the good stuff is going on elsewhere - a classic sleight of hand trick that any conjuror employs.

In the military world its an accepted fact that at any one time, the current 'state of the art equipment' employed by the various branches of the armed forces is at least 2 generations behind the stuff the boffins are playing with.

Yes they've got to try that stuff out somewhere to shake out the bugs before the troops get their hands on it, but I doubt very much that area51 is it!

I was stationed in Nellis AFB. It's actually a pretty relaxed and open kind of base. Pilots from different nations, including Taiwan and Germany, go there to do combat exercises every year. My squadron was in area 2, along with a minimum security federal prison. Inmates did all the chores for us. We only had to cook the meals. When I first got stationed there I cooked soup for 400 inmates. Well, churning soup with a metallic boat paddle in a kettle as big as an oil drum wasn't fun at all. I got sick because I churned the soup for three hours straight without a break.

My squadron members made a lot of speculations about Area 51, but no one has ever had the right answer, I think.

Well it is just a secret installation where new technologies are tested and developed. No aliens just secret weapons etc to protect the US .

The US has a history of secret projects especially wiht aircraft etc. They don't want the whole world to know what their cookin up.

Burbank or Hollywood might actually be a good place for recovered UFOs to 'hide in plain sight'. If someone in the Los Angeles area saw a disc shaped aircraft being pulled down the street they might think it's a movie prop.

That's a good point. And let's face it, an ET could stroll down the street and anyone would just think it was some C-lister who'd had too much botox.

My Dad went to Area 51 quite a lot in the 80s and 90s on business trips. Top-level security clearance ex-airforce and aerospace research and development. He said they were working on new air and space craft there and described all the security he'd have to go through to get down to the lower levels.

Never said anything about aliens, but maybe they'll be some neat death-bed confessions or something.

Yes, we had a long line of airforce and 'war' people in our family line since the 1400s, never breaking. From that I can probably tell you that Area 51 has more to do with building and engineering new models hence the space...I really don't find it all that secretive, even though that itself sounds nuts.

I mean once you know how to construct weapons, aircraft and other things of that nature I think the whole 'mystery' factor is kind of sucked out, thus seeming really 'normal'.

There was a lag of 15 years between development of "Tacit Blue" aircraft stealth technology and the public unveiling of it. F117 Stealth Fighter now being retired, and you know something is replacing it. So, you can speculate that whatever they're doing now at such secret installations, we probably won't know about it until 2020 or thereabouts.

Area 51 is just a cover.
The real answers are, of course, at Area 42.

Well, of course it takes 15 or more years for them to release it out to the mass public. I've seen some of the papers it takes to install operations for use/production of air planes and you have to go through a lot of steps, people and all the rest of your critics. Plus, it's not just the new stuff, but combining the old stuff and trying to get papers to have it back in the field or combine certain methods.

But as for area51 i have a good buddie that lost a few good buddies testing the F-117 early on out at groom lake,and hes a retired Air Force pilot,and pow. So a real american hero is to be belived.They have most certinaly a new and faster toy already in the air out there! Your tax money being well spent,be assured. was that too much humor?

The story I heard: It is/was a compound used by a large defense contractor. Not as huge a deal as it used to be, but I understand that Stealth technology originated from there, in part, as well as quite a few of the major defense secrets of the country.

Stealth technology was i think done and researched there after all stealth technology is down to the paint they use which makes the material have the stealth effect..

Alien technology not sure about that maybe in another area i heard there was another Area 52 something like that.

I do believe that they have Alien craft or parts of one and that they experiment with the materials found etc..
