Reaper = awesome show.
It beat out that overhyped, overpriced POS show "Chuck"

I liked the show Dead Like Me? I think it was. I don't get the premise though, does everybody that dies have to become a grim reaper?

No, not everyone who dies becomes a reaper. It's just a chance that if you were the last reap that reaper had, you would become the next reaper to fill in that space.

I liked Dead Like Me as well. If thats what it was like being a grim reaper, then heck no I wouldn't do it. You're supposed to be away from the worries of mortal life when you die. . .but in that show they still had to keep up jobs and pay rent. . .nope. . .not for me.

What happens to the old reaper when you become the new one?

Has anyone that experienced a near-death situation ever seen a grim reaper? I know the "white light" scenario is in like 90% of near-death experiences. And seeing dead relatives is common too. Maybe theres 1 grim reaper per generation in a family or the most recent deceased guiding the newly deceased.

No, I've never wanted to be the reaper, it would be a 'merda' job that is for sure. I mean it's bad enough you have to see some losers around constantly, but killing them and seeing their face ugly as ever gahhd I think not hahaha...em no I've never had that fantasy thank goodness.
Other person I've almost died a few times and NOT ONCE did I see any freaking white lights, nope not once. I think that is a bunch of bull in my opinion when people are like yes I saw a white light and blah blah blah...the whole suitcase basket thing. When I almost died it was really amazing, but not any of the 'white light' stuff, I felt like I didn't have any questions to ask or even to speak, it was total contention. But you see it's rare to have total contention and you feel as if that's what death feels like because you feel so perfect...but it's merely a perfect moment captured in time forever ^^ just like parts of death
