"Strange demonic activity. . ."

Not likely.

----

They had to investigate a hotel. Where a woman claimed it was haunted. And it really wasn't, it was just the woman's imagination. But they decided not to tell her but they told her not to hold anymore of those things*. But only with people who could do it.

* - I know what they're called. But I can't spell it. Where you gather and contact the spirits. >>

A spider got on Tango. Tango freaked, asked steve to brush it off. Steve freaked and they stomped all on the floor to kill it.

Like I said before man Steve and Tango have become the modern day Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. The only thing missing are the bowler hats and tango saying "Say Ollie"

I happened to watch that Scariest Places rerun also, since it was on.

You can pretty much assume that when they are investigating an attic, a basement, or a place like Waverly Hills or Mansfield there is going to be a scene where Steve is jumping around because of spiders.

I know the hotel your talking about, The Knickerbocker... I have been going there for months, and it is haunted, they have had other teams there and they have a web site with posted eveidence. After the paranormal state aired that episode, C.J. Sellers contacted the owner of the hotel and told her she could not believe that they misrepresented the hotel so badly, and she had contacted a lot of the spirits in the hotel....Just goes to so you they can make the shows look anyway they want too.

By the way here is a link to their site, check out the evidence for yourself. Plus they have hundreds of photos and evp's not yet posted.

I've gotta say again that I still think Jason & Grant are stand-up kind of guys. I don't think they pulled this on purpose.

They're not that good of actors, too, to fake their reaction to finding the planted items.

I do say they should have known about the distillery, though.

And at the very least, the producers should have done research first and told them.

I was hopeing Jay would smack that smile off his face at the revealing.

Yeah, during the reveal Jay asked him if he knew about the ladies bathroom being rigged with a laughing box and he smuggly replied "I wouldnt know I never go into the ladies bathroom" I bet it took every bit self control he had to keep from b-slapping him on national tv.

Yeah.

Another thing. When the power went out. The woman took it as a sign. Then two of the group members went out. And they came back saying that someone told them it was a weekly thing. She didn't want to listen to Ryan so he decided not to tell her.

=/

Maybe.

Edit:

Thanks for the link too.

laugh.gif That was a silly statement wasn't it. Credibility doesn't have so much to do with it. I'm not going to say that they (the paranormal state people) really don't believe what they're saying, because I'm not them so I don't know. But I can say that the episodes that I have forced myself to watch usually contain something "demonic" or "dark". Just because EVERY show doesn't have that does not nullify the fact that the majority of them do. . .and I'm sorry, but I've said the name Belial several times and nothing bad has happened to me. I guess he's the demon of worthlessness, so the joke would be on him if tried to bother me. I'd get him fired. laugh.gif

But, seriously. . since I didn't get to see that episode, I can't say anything for sure. . .I've never heard of the place that they went to. . .but if the general public had an idea of the "set ups" (they do don't they?) I can't see how they wouldn't have run across it while researching the place. .I guess maybe they could have just not came across anything on it. . . I'm not sure. . . *searches internet*

I didn't find anything right off about the riggings. ..so its possible that they did do research, but just didn't come across any information regarding the new "additions". . .

I really like TAPS and I have faith in them. . .maybe because I remember them from before they had the show. . .of course when you are under contract you can be made to do things you'd rather not do. . .

Yeah, except the power doesn't go out weekly, and the little discusion we saw between Peg and Ryan was really 2 hrs long. again you only get to see what they want you too, and they can munipulate it to look they want it to.

About The Knickerbocker in Linesville, PA. I spend a lot of time there too and I live in Linesville. I agree with MoonPrincess and WaterFaiy, the place is haunted. As far as the Paranormal State Episode #19 The Knickerbocker, Ryan and his crew have a job to do and a show to create. They did a good job with it. Peg Knickerbocker is a spiritually sensitive individual, add to that she has a great deal of energy and is animated while speaking. It is my opinion that Peg Knickerbocker and The Knickerbocker building are simply a greater dynamic than a half hour television program could reasonably be expected to handle.

It is important to know that the real Peg Knickerbocker is well grounded. She still has lots of energy and converses with conviction and intensity but she is not always in extreme high gear.
The electricity in Linesville is subject to problems when the weather gets bad. Only on the rarest of occasions does the electric blink out on a sunny day for no apparent reason. It could happen, but who ever made the comment about the electricity going out every week was being sarcastic.

The Knickerbocker has been investigated at least five time since Paranormal State did theirs. Keystone Paranormal Oil Region Paranormal Investigation team and Baelfire Each has been back a second time or has plans to do so. Not because they didn't get evidence the first time and want to try again but because they did get evidence the first time and want more. Evidence is posted on their respective sites. Some of their evidence is posted on The Knickerbocker site

The Knickerbocker has also, recently, posted a picture Peg took and several EVPs that were recorded over the Internet using The Apparition Action Cam.
I recorded the EVPs. I have a 147MB .wav file that is 25 minutes in length. Recorded with Audacity. There are between 25 and 30 EVPs in that file. Three of which are posted on The Knickerbocker website

"You must not say... THE NAME!"

anyway, which episode number was it? and what season?

If i were them i would have been really pissed off. Driving all that way for the ****ing place to be rigged. I hoped that Jason would've smacked the hell out of that guy too! I highly doubt alot of people would go back there seeing that episode knowing that it is all a fluke.
