For those of you who read my last post and replied thank you and here is part II of it.

Some women and men are ungrateful and yesterday was proof for me. My own cousin said her friend is in jail and they need someone 18 and over with a job to go there and let her out. So she took me to the bail bonds and when I got there the guy said what is your credit history like. I told him I ain't taking a loan or being a co-signer for anyone. If that girl misses her courts dates then my credit is ruined and off to collections I go. I told my cousin, we grew up in the same household and you are going to put your friend before me. Shame on you, I will never do any favor of any kind for you. I guess friends are more important than family to her.

what is your cousins friend in jail for?
honestly though, you made the right choice- if you bail her friend out and the friend ends up taking off or hiding, yeah you'd be the one that gets the fun task of dealing with the bailbondsman and credit people rolleyes.gif

She is probably in for disorderly conduct or maybe a felony. The only way I would know if I knew her first and last name and I didn't stay long enough at the bailbonds to ask for that. I walked back home and didn't even ask my cousin for a ride because I found it ridiculous as to why she would care to bail a friend out. Let the person who needs to be bailed get bailed by their family. I know my cousin herself has some records such as riots.

ozman, this would be much better suited to a blog entry, so I am closing this thread.
