I have seen into the future on many different occasions, can anyone else relate to me? Once I had a dream that I was in an emergency room close to death, the dream was so detailed that when I woke up it seemed real, I questioned myself about it for weeks as it really troubled me. All my questions came to an end a few weeks after the dream, I woke up to be in a emergency room with my family over me, the doctors gave me a 5% chance of living, I had to be resuscitated twice as I had two major heart attacks and my liver shut down at the age of 23, I'm was in excellent health with loving friends and family and a high paying job. In my dream I remember the emergency room to detail from peoples names to faces to colours to being out of by body at one stage before I was shocked back to life. I'm alright now after many weeks of doing absolutely nothing and doing alot of thinking about what went wrong and pushed me to that experience. This is just one of many instances in which I have foreseen the future, I can not explain it but now I make use of it when before I did not understand it.
The main reason why I mention this is to warn everyone that the human race is developing, to improve our own quality of life and to change us for the better. Everyone has this power in some respect or another and we must adhere to warning signs such as Extra Sensory Perception, déjà vu and clairvoyance even gut feelings and instinct have something to do with these extra perceptions people may experience.
These feeling are here for a reason and everyone must adhere to them, I believe I nearly died because I was not on the right track of life I was meant to be on. The purpose we all live life has a funny way of waking us up if we are not on the correct course, its just up to you to see it. I was quietly unhappy with my life and not treating my body or mind with the respect it deserved, hence, I was not listening for my purpose. I'm glad to say I have changed my whole life after my wake up call and I'm now ready to really live my life and fulfil my purpose for myself but mainly everyone else out there including you reading this at the moment.
Don’t brush of waring signs and just say 'that was wired', your brain is more powerful then you think, your actions and words can be more powerful then you think, are you just living from day to day? Ask questions, find answers, believe me or not but I have seen things which prove this life we are all living now is not going to be what we have made it to date. Don’t be happy with second best, the human race consists of two groups, Leaders and Followers, what are you going to be in the future? (December, 2012)

That's happened to me before, I can't remember exactly what it was, (It was something small) but all I remember is that it was really detailed, just like you, and I got freaked out.

Happened to me once as well. It was about something completely trivial, but I was still astonished by it.
Shaun, from a spiritual standpoint, all I can say is that if you were shown a health crisis that was about to happen in your near future, it must have been to prove to you that it was not just a random accident but something that happened for a reason. It sounds like you've taken that lesson to heart.

I agree. These dreams (or experiences in dreams) are more powerful than what most realize-

I have my dreams, but when I wake I remember them for awhile, then I forget it. Once my dream has come truth it has felt like deja vu. I looked back and realized I had a dream about it. I have seen the future of just myself mainly but there have been times I dreamt of other people and what happen to them. Of course I was there. It happen only a few times. I had a dream that hasn't happen but I remember it. Its about my girlfriends brother. He hasn't seen her in months, and all of the sudden there was a knock on the door, and I answered it and our friend was there and behind him was my girlfriends brother and she came to see who it was. She was surprised, but before it could go farther I woke up. What do you think about this?

Yes I understand what your speaking about aidake and yes thank you for your comments Hamlyn, i do firmly believe a massive amount of things which happen in peoples lives are the basis of a reason, its what humans take out of these reasons which depict their life and I centainly saw this particular reason and resolved it but it still took me a while to discover how to fix it even after that massive shock. (this was not the first time I have chanced death, I was in a car which rolled three times and still to this day had a strong feeling there was a force in the car protecting me as I remember the feeling it had on my body) My experience's are not just one's of dreams, but with my own eyes I have seen particular places for example, buildings or smaller objects like trees even sunsets, so basically the whole world as i know it sometimes turns into somewhere that I have been before but not from this planet.
To try and explain this so I dont sound crazy, I have seen particular things and places in a kind of déjà but not just for a moment but in a constant state for a matter of minutes or even days. The feeling is so common that it is certain in my mind that I have been to this place before (yes in my dreams) but this place is not make believe, it is real and I have been there but it does not exist on this planet. Obveriously if you have not experienced anything like this than it sounds obserd, I have learnt to live my life around it but with the quest to find out were this place is and if anyone else experiences this sort of perception which is why I'm writting in this fourm. (If this helps you understand what I have wrote or where I'm comming from, I, on a reasonably regular basis feel and see ghosts, when I'm awake ofcourse)
To even deepen this further I feel and have knowledge that in this life time things are going to change for the whole world for the worse, I will not go into detail of what I know or think I know, what I have seen or believe to have seen, but I do believe that this time is coming sooner then we all expect in which all of what we know is going to change. All I can say is, dont fear it, inbrace it and you will survive it, like I finished my last reply, there are two kinds of humans in this world, Leaders and Followers, what are you going to be in the future?

Well put, I believe as you do everyone is born with these gifts and they in their rush have forgotten to rely on these natural instincts, as wild animals know a predator so should we by instinct alone. I am like you I have come to rely on gut feelings, dejavu, any medium that I get these feelings and know,it has become part of my nature now and I trust myself before anyone. There are few of us that know and accept this you speak every word right, and we know who will lead and who follows...

I also get this, but only in dreams. For instance often in dreams there will be somebody I havent seen for years and then the next day I randomly run into them. Or just general things like I dreamt a giant spider attacked me then the next day I was walking down the street and I ran into a spider web and a spider got on me. This kind of stuff happens ALL the time but I don't think I can tell the future. I just belive it is our subconscience picking up on things we don't notice or predicting things we wouldnt be able to.

IMO, most cases of dreams or predictions coming true are unknowingly caused by the person it happens to. The brain is a powerful organ that will respond if told enough times that something will happen. This is what Voo Doo depends on, these people know the power of suggestion and by making it so intense and theatric it's like making a hrd drive recording in your subconscious. And yes, I even believe the body will turn on itself if told to do so. Ever notice how people will be fine and then be told by a doctor that they have terminal cancer and not long after they die. They see the doctor as an authority figure telling them something that they can back up with historical statistics and as soon as the doctor tells them they have 3 months to live it triggers a death sentence in their subconscious. Furthermore many help their subconscious out with the conscious mind in making these predictions come to fruition. Once a powerful message has been planted in the mind, not only will it likely happen but you would be hard pressed to stop it. This is how these card/tea/crystal ball readers get their success. They know that when someone comes into their shop that half the work (predispositioned) is already done for them. Once they plant their future into your mind it's just a matter of time before you make it happen.
Another possibility in the case of the OP is that his body may have been sending signals to his brain warning of impending catastrophic health problems. In turn, his brain reveals these issues as a story during the dream state. In this way the entire message can be delivered without causing panic or triggering the issues. It's not so much seeing the future as it is an early detection notification and delivery system.

Sure, most of the time it's normal foresight.
But sometimes, maybe it isn't.
Most people, I think, have had at least one or two premonitions that are awfully hard to explain away. I know I have.

I appreicate you reply but what would you say if I mentioned that my heart attacks were caused by a self inflicted substance which, I might add was a complete and utter mistake(the biggest of my life). Do you suggest that I sub-conciously made this accident happen because my body tried telling me that if I maintained travelling on the course I was the exact situation I drempt could happen in real life and because I did not listen to the dream I actually did this to myself without knowing?
This is something I was not wanting to mention as it was something I regret massively but it also shows how freaky this really was to me.

I have a small story to contribute to this thread. About a year ago I had a dream with a girl in it that I did not know or recognize. The dream was very vivid and I wrote down what I remembered when I awoke (as I do with many of my more vivid dreams). About a month after I had this dream, I met a girl with an uncanny resemblance to the girl in the dream. Indeed, the resemblance was almost eerie. That girl is now my fiancée...
I am an eternal skeptic, and I cannot explain this occurrence. Nor will I try. However, I do believe that parts of our mind contain secrets we've yet to discover.

i've never had the future in my dream, but my brother did...about a baseball game. He doesn't even like baseball, he never did. But he dreamed of the Kansas City Royals and some other team (can't remember anymore), and the Royals won. He even dreamed the score.
A kid in my history class is the son of the school district administrator, and he was telling us that his father actually dreamed about the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, and when he saw it on the news the next day, he was spooked by it.

Dude, calm down!
I never once made any assumptions about you or your experience, nor am suggesting anything about you specifically. I just gave some general information grounded in logic. Furthermore, I can't even say that I understand what you just said but I'll take a crack at it by saying that it is possible your subconscious was warning (via the dream)you about the ?substance? and what it was doing to you physically. Also, if you were ingesting something harmful, then you did do it to yourself and didn't need a dream to warn you of the possible effects.
It's also possible that God was responsible for your dream and warning you of your upcoming health problems. I think the important thing right now is your health and that you're still with us.

oh sure, i have had precognatic dreams of many sorts...
the one i remember most is an odd combination of a book i read the night before and something odd. It had a ferret in it that could talk. It was really weird and i was interested...but then i woke up.
Oddly enough, only seven hours later, i was watching TV when a program was on with a storyline very similar to the book with a talking ferret. i swear to GOD people that I did not see any hint of this show beforehand, or have any reference to it available. It was kinda weird.
Weirder still, i sometimes get dreams with meanings. Lately, they have all been animal related, except one. I had a dream that my science teacher (this really funny whom i respect for having good common sense) started throwing spiders at me at random (I am VERY arachnophobic). The night after that, i was attacked by a giant spectral fox in a dream, and they are my fav animals. I decided that this meant i was either being betrayed without noticing it, or i was going to be betrayed by someone or something close to me, whether only partly close like an aquaniance (the teacher hinted at that) or something sentimentally close like an animal i do not know. I hope it ain't a cryptid (I am sentimentally close to a ton of those) because that would creep me out.
Stranger still, i had a "messanger" dream, where I'm told something important but as i try to remember the details it just vanishes. I was told by a shapeshifter (he turned from a blackbird) that if i wish to hold fast to my belief and continue looking upward (I didn't get the context, and since i cannot recall anything beside thopse two details, and the fact i was commenting on his strange ability, i do not understand what that means).
IU know it sounds farfetched and could mean nothing, the human subconcious is pretty open to stuff like that. Basically, yes, I've had prophetic dreams and such.

I sometimes put on some tunes when I'm getting ready for bed. This past Sunday when my friend came over, out of nowhere I mentioned to him that I listened to Johnny Cash's "Walk the Line" the night before. He was very surprised as he said he and his buddies sang that song when they played American Idol on the Xbox that night too (at about the same time.) To put things in context, Johnny Cash is not my normal choice of music. I listen to alternative rock, hip pop, instruments, etc. Furthermore, my firend had NEVER heard of this song before that night. Coincidence? (I think it's somewhat related as I WAS thinking about him a lot that night...)

First post here... I've found it weird, but I have seen the future in my dreams, the weird thing is, that it happens in a year or a few years after I dreamed about it, for example, about 4 years ago I had dreamt something which I vaguely remember, while I was at my best friends house we were doing something in the computer (looking at random stuff on the internet) when all of a sudden I got this sense of Déjà-vu and I quickly remembered a dream I had a while back, and I told my best friend ''this, and this is going to happen" and it did, it was nothing major, but it did surprise us a bit, odd thing is that we had both experienced this in the past. Weird, yes, but most intriguing is that what I had dreamt was realized a few years after I had dreamt it. So far nothing serious has happened, but hopefully it will prove itself useful if the opportunity is given.

Every time i have a dream about someone dying, i wake up the next morning, and a family member or friend has died. This has happened to me more than once. It's happened to me four times that i can remember, and the actual death always occurs the next day, not a week later or two days later or something like that.
I've never 'predicted' anything else besides death.

I have detailed my experiences elsewhere, but basically yes people do have dreams which are absolutely precognitive.
Some are exact representations of what will happen, others are slightly more symbolic. I will briefly tell you one of mine, which relates to your experience.
In 2003 I had a very vivid and real dream. The nature of it, and the reality of it, made me suspect it was a precog dream, so i described it in detail to my wife. In the dream i was killed 3 times. First i was stabbed in the heart, then i was burned to death when our house caught fire, then i fell from a cliff face.
In about may 2004 , i had some slight symptoms at work. Because of my dream i went to our local hospital, from where i was rushed by air ambulance to a city hospital. At first, doctors could find nothing wrong, but when i had a special heart scan they found an artery which was 95% blocked. I had a triple by pass, and came through in perfect health. The doctors said if i had not gone to hospital when i did, i would have died soon after, from a masive heart attack probably while just walking along the street.
In jan 2005 a major bushfire ravaged our area, killing 9 people and destroying over 100 homes. The front had gone past our place, but when i got a message from "god" (wont go into the details here) I acted immediately. My wife and I evacuated our house within a few minutes of the warning, grabbing only our cat and essential papers. Within minutes of leaving, our house exloded as the fire front approached (if we had followed conventional wisdom, and stayed in the house until the fire front had passed, we would both have died) The front had changed direction due to a wind change. Being inside we had not noticed the change, although the smoke and ash was increasing and visibility was decreasing.
In 2007, i was doing some rock climbing, when i found my self in a tricky position. I could abandon the climb, or carry on. At that moment the dream came back to me. I decided to take the safer option and cut short the descent i was making. In the next few minutes I had a fall which badly tore my shoulder ligaments, but because i was almost back to the start of the descent i was able to make it out safely. If i had gone on and the same thing had happened, i would have had great difficulty getting out alive from a cliff face several hundred metres high, and with a torn shoulder.
I think it highly likely that i would have fallen in almost the exact scenario as the third death from my dream, where i was trapped on a cliff face with no way to ascend or descend, until eventually i fell a couple of hundred metres to my death.
In each case, the accurate and quite specific warning from the dream, which heightened my awareness of my situation, combined with more immediate warnings, saved my life.

You know, our senses send much more information to our brains than our brains care to interpret... I wonder if, perhaps, it is not ESP that causes dreams to tell the future. I wonder if it might just be that, in dreams, our mind sifts through that extra data and makes sense of the patterns it sees?

^^^ doubt it.
i know Deja vu and after experiencing these "future-dreams" myself and first hand experiencings it. I see a vast difference between the two. dejavu is just one action or one sentence that kinda same, the rest are just jumbled up.
these future dreams involve surrounding, the right moment, the right smell, talk, all the small details are all exact up to the tee.
honestly it can sometimes weird you out or just leave you annoyed especially when it comes to answering exam questions cause you've dreamt it before and you just ignored it cause it's "all just a dream"

you guys will probably laugh but its a theory i have been playing around with for awhile.
Our eyes see things but our brain doesnt process it right away so when we see into the future in our dreams we are actually seeing something we already saw that somehow skipped in line and was prcessed before another important thing
Ex. We see a dog 1 week later our brain processes it and we actually see the dog.
This is the best i could lay this out on paper.

I had a dream I was looking at a house that I used to live in..I couldnt exactly remeber when I lived there or why I moved out..Alot of detail, especially about the size and color (white)..it was so big there were areas never used..also by the water...I was very confused as to why I moved out (because the house was so cool) and when exactly I owned it ( 41 only had 2 houses). Well we just bought a new house and it fits the dream exactly. It by the water, white and very large. We dont even use a couple of bedrooms and living room. Could be coincidental....

I have dreams like this all the time, although they were more plentiful when I was younger (In fact 6/7 dreams of mine would come true no more than 2 weeks later). Some times it would simply be the school bus turning the corner, other times it would be a whole conversation with someone I hadn't met yet. Once, it was the full first half of a movie I had yet to see.
