A Sydney primary school teacher who was suspended from duties after posing nude in a magazine is allowed to teach again.
Lynne Tziolas was stood down by the New South Wales' Education Department last month after appearing naked with her husband in a photo in the sealed section of a woman's magazine.
Along with nine other couples, they discussed their sex lives.
Some parents from Naraweena Public School complained to the department, and Ms Tziolas was suspended from teaching duties on full pay, pending the outcome of an inquiry.
The department has now agreed she can resume teaching in another school in the system.
It will not confirm any details of the inquiry's findings, describing them as confidential.
Yet a spokesman says the department believes its actions in suspending Ms Tziolas was warranted, given the concerns of parents about her conduct.
What does this have to do with teaching? It's not like she was telling the kids about it or showing them the pics? If it was in a womens magazine they would have been quite tasteful, not that of a porn magazine centerfold if you get my drift. I see no problem with this at all..... i think its more to the case of jealous mothers.....

Hmm... so teachers now aren't allowed to have sex?

I better warn my mom. (she's becoming a full time teacher this Sept.)

Why be so worried over the images. It is not like the elementary kids pull out porn magazines during class and show them to everyone.

Teachers are supposed to remain virgins. They are not supposed to expose themselves to sex, otherwise, they need detoxification.

I'd say it's because of some of the prudish attitudes amongst some of the population.
I just watched a short news video about this incident, and they showed the photo. It was very tasteful. The news video also mentioned that other parents had signed a petition to get her reinstated,so apparently not everyone thought it was a distasteful act.

It's not like she was going out of her way to show the picture to the kids, was it? It's almost if they thought of her as a porn star instead of a teacher after it was published.

I can see it from the parents point of view and how surprised they must have been to open a magazine, find their son/daughter's teacher sitting naked in a photo spread.. but she essentially was in the right and not doing any harm whatsoever to the children. It wasn't as if she brought the magazine in to class with her. "Look what I did, kids!"

In high school I had teacher who was a stripper on week-ends to make ends meet. We knew about it but didn't dare discuss it except among the guys.

That's truly disgusting.
Taking those pictures were her choice. They were for a good purpose, and were tasteful.
All this is is a case of people having become so goddam conservative that they are afraid of the human body.
We all have private parts.
I do.
You do.
Most people have sex.
Your parents did.
Without them showing their private parts you wouldn't be here.
Its nature.
The way of life.
Why have we become so goddam politically correct?

If she was a good teacher, what the hell is the difference what she did...Too many people are too quick to slander someone's good name..It's sickening.....

As long as she was hot I see nothing wrong with it.

...maybe she was one of those teachers you just didn't want to see naked and that's what offended the school board bad enough to remove her from her position.
