Damn you're tall
Probably it's just a shadow of something. Or worse, it's a shadow of you.

You saw SOMETHING but you never said what it looked like? Take a deep breath and elaborate.
You saw a djinn, let me see, it had not distinguishable features on the face, a tall dark shadow, jet black.

It must have been Rubeus Hagrid.

it looked like an owl on a human body, yet it was scratching at the window and looking at me, then flew up and shrieked. yet owls are never seen in my town. my friend had told me to get in her car and drive around, and yet i was still panicing

Hmmm, could it have possibly been a reflection from something in your room that "appeared to be" in the window?
like a daydream or a fever

Shaq? But really I saw something like that at around 3 A.M. a couple weeks ago when I was walking down my road... It was around 7 ft tall, and looked like the grim reaper. It scared the hell out of me.

can you maybe draw what you saw and post your drawing? Even if you didn;t see much detail, can you just draw the shape?
Sounds like the mothman, but there's so little information to go on...

7 ft owl in a human body equals mothman. yep, I can see how that works O.o...
Not really..
Isnt it just as likely you saw an OWL and it appeared larger-- or perhaps some sort of demon-- thats even more likely. And though I am a believer in and a fanatic about weres, I've never heard tell of a were owl...

You said it looked like an owl & was scratching at your window, so did it have arms or wings? was it scratching with forelimbs or talons? was it feathered? just a few questions to try to get a better idea of what it looked like.

THE MOTHMAN: My Daughter has seen this many times in her life. Don't know why. Never any harm. She is an educated woman not some nut case. We truly believe her and her sightings. I don't think you should have any fear. Once when she was falling asleep at the wheel it flew THROUGH the left window screeching and out the windshield??

Did it break her widow? If she was not dreaming, then it seems to be a good thing for her.

How come you failed to mention it was a freaking owl in the first post? The fact this thing is a giant owl didnt seem important enough to include?
