So Their I am running and I see a bright purple, orb looking, light Around 10 PM, it hovered for a while then moved from the sky to a stationary position in front of a nearby mountain Now I know this was not a plane because I live in the area where planes fly in and out 24/7 so I know I am not mistaken it for a plane and or helicopter (we get those two ) Next time I see this i will try and record it. It might not be a UFO w/ aliens but it def was a UFO to me at least.

An ORB you say? I'm not sure about coloured orbs but paranormal orbs have been cropping up a lot and people are baffled.
