Dear Bunny,

As an old educator, I know your game. Go back and reread your little evidence. I merely posted information for you to comment upon. Then the "dog" and Bunny came running around and sniffed up the information and pounced. Now you use informal fallacy and non-sequiturs to position me as the meany. Well, I was warned in PM after PM about you and several others here who go around and shoot at everyone you deem deserving of shooting down. I will not fall, I will post information that deserves comments and retorts but I will not accept that I have done you wrong. LOOK AT YOURSELF. I suggest you try dialogue and a little kindness rather than play games.

Cheers,
Orion

Attacking Fluffy like this will only get your "thread" closed and yourself suspended or banned. Besides, it has nothing to do with your little fairy tale.

Wow!... check out these weird prehistoric balls,,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carved_Stone_Balls

linked-image
Hundreds of carved stone spheres, roughly three inches in diameter, believed to date to around 2000 BC, have been found in Scotland. Some are carved with lines corresponding to the edges of regular polyhedra. Roughly half have 6 knobs---like the one at right above---but the others range from three to 160 knobs.

Could they have been missile weapons of some sort? The ball in the centre looks just like a modern day football.

I just got it... ron.o.cook....orion von koch. Very good.

Be that as it may, I have friends in high places also. I speak the truth and I will not back off the evidence. I only respond in kind. If the "Kind" is issued first, then I respond. Seek out the "first" and your will see the second which is me. If I am kicked off, then the site has lost an asset for I have much to show. I have not seen the same from those who retort and shoot down. I do not put forth fairy tales but points-of-departure for discussion.

The antagonist you seek to point out is elsewhere...not within me. I am a teacher — one of tough love.

This thread is bursting at the seams with bloated ego - she can't hold for much longer!

And no, it's not from the bunny or the dog.

Bursting with bloated ego? Or, is it that one has forgotten how to learn? How to be challenged? How to be creative in the thought process? How to dig deeper for concepts that amplify the mentality of the human soul? As I have said before, we have much to learn and it should emanate from dialogue. You may Moon others, but I see you for what you deem to posture in the minds of others. It is not my ego, that is being amplified, but that of those who seek to destroy others. Would you join me in trying to teach via creativity or would you destroy me?

You belittle others with your little jibes like "you may Moon others" and "the little doggie comes sniffing around". Is THAT how teachers get people to listen these days? Snarky jabs at the ones they are trying to teach and converse with? Classy.

I have not forgotten how to learn, but I think you have forgotten how to teach - nobody is listening to your "theories" here, and most comment on your attitude and ego. Perhaps that's a hint?

You are an egomaniac, pure and simple. Learn to drop the bloated ego and you may get through to some people.

I do think you have some interesting reading and ideas, but it's needlessly flowery and wordy and your responses to people's questions are either nonexistent or full of pointless things like "think deeper" or "it's a POD" or a blunted jab at their intelligence - I just can't get through it.

I see you are astute enough to go back and see what I have said to test you, but you are not being fair if you do not go back and see the initiator (positioning me as ego filled). You know that my initial posts were to stimulate creative thought but your cohorts came rumbling in to do their do and now we see that some just want to play games rather than discuss and establish dialogue. Go read my blog and your will discern that I am talking about. I truly have no distaste for anyone here but I do not stand back and let others run roughshod over me either. I suggest you reserve your dislike for me and just think about the whole thing. I have heard about some who come here to create discourse — are you one of them?

I taught in tough schools filled with leaders of gangs and whatnot. You tell me, could you teach those folks with constant attempts on your life? Try teaching the students of today and perhaps you will have a little more respect for my methods. I was also a Summa-Educator with 80% of my secondary students going to college. I also taught on the university level, as a very popular teacher with overflowing classes. I was also a university administrator specializing in creative methodology to challenge students to new levels of development. I was a consultant to the state board of education and the office of the Governor on simulation technology and virtual reality methods. I was on the state textbook selection committee. I have been around this domain of education and I know whereof I speak.

Need I say more?

We all could use a little less pithiness.

Non-sense. There's not nearly enough pith and wit in the world. Especially in this thread.

Non-sense is a keyword. You will know them by their fruits. See My latest blog with information by Manly P. Hall.

Well here it is...I will make it easy on you.

From: Secret Teachings of All Ages -- Manly P. Hall — “Universal and deep thought bestows amplified spirit in that it reveals the dignity and purpose of living. Materiality bestows death in that it benumbs or clouds those faculties of human soul, which should be responsive to the enlivening impulses of creative thought and ennobling virtue. How inferior to these standards of remote days are the laws by which men live in the twentieth century! Today man a sublime creature with infinite capacity for self-improvement, in an effort to be true to false standards, turns from his birthright of understanding--without realizing the consequences--and plunges into the maelstrom of material illusion. The precious span of his earthly years he devotes to the pathetically futile effort to establish himself as an enduring power in a realm of unenduring things. Gradually the memory of his life as a spiritual being vanishes from his objective mind and be focuses all his partly awakened faculties upon the seething beehive of industry which he has come to consider the sole actuality. From the lofty heights of of his Selfhood he slowly sinks into the gloomy depths of ephemerality. He falls to the level of the beast, and in brutish fashion mumbles the problems arising from his all too insufficient knowledge of the Divine Plan. Here in the lurid turmoil of a great industrial, political, commercial inferno, men writhe in self-inflicted agony and, reaching out into the swirling mists, strive to clutch and hold the grotesque phantoms of success and power.

Ignorant of the cause of life, ignorant of the purpose of life, ignorant of what lies beyond the mystery of death, yet possessing within himself the answer to it all, man is willing to sacrifice the beautiful, the true, and the good within and without upon the blood stained altar of worldly ambition. The world of philosophy -- that beautiful garden of thought wherein the sages dwell in the bond of fraternity--fades from view. In its place rises an empire of stone, steel, smoke, and hate--a world in which millions of creatures potentially human scurry to and from in the desperate effort to exist and at the same time maintain the vast institution which they have erected and which, like some mighty juggernaut, is rumbling inevitably towards an unknown end. In this physical empire, which man erects in the vain belief that he can outshine the kingdom of the celestials, everything is changed to stone, Fascinated by the glitter of gain, man gazes at the Medusa-like face of greed and stands petrified.

War -- the irrefutable evidence of irrationality--still smolders in the hearts of men; it cannot die until human selfishness is overcome. Armed with multifarious inventions and destructive agencies, civilization will continue its fratricidal strife through future ages. But upon the mind of man there is dawning a great fear--that eventually civilization will destroy itself in one great cataclysmic struggle. Then must be reenacted the eternal drama of reconstruction. Out of the ruins of the civilization, which died when its idealism died, some primitive people yet in the womb of destiny must build a new world. Foreseeing the needs of that day, the philosophers of the ages have desired that into the structure of this new world shall be incorporated the truest and finest of all that has gone before. It is a divine law that the sum of previous accomplishment shall be the foundation of each new order of things. The great philosophic treasures of humanity must be preserved. That which is superficial may be allowed to perish; that which is fundamental and essential must remain, regardless of consequences “

I speak the truth and I will not back off the evidence.

Please back off this "evidence" long enough for it to become at least fleetingly visible to any interested party. That is, you have yet to present any evidence so, what is it exactly that you refuse to "back off" of?

Are you trying to hatch it like some mother hen or what? Cause I have a couple of good marinade recipes for old hens.

Hide and watch. They utilized hard rounded river rocks, that were very black. Then they put rubber from the rubber plant (Latex) around the river rocks to approach a perfect roundness. Thes balls were used to move heavy objects about.

Ok, so are we finding "rubber" on the "heavy objects"?

If I move a statue around on a hard black rubber ball I will get some residue of hard black rubber on the statue. Kind of a skid mark.

The difference between you and I is that you have been outrageously rude and condescending from the get go; treating people as fools who don’t want to play the game your way. I have attempted to be nice, I have attempted to be straightforward. You continue to be rude.

I have made myself clear on the matter and it appears that you wish to continue to treat people poorly and act like an petulant child; that is your choice. Fine. My choice is to close your thread and send you down the road to the next forum that contains sadist who enjoy being treated like trash when they don’t agree with you. Maybe your friends in high places can tolerate you, it isn’t happening here.

Best of luck finding a forum who likes a pompous windbag. rolleyes.gif
