Hello, I'm new to these forums, I apologize if this post is in the wrong section. I could not find the introduction thread original.gif

I found this site by a random Google search on "I've seen UFOs" and here I am!

I have seen UFO's before, they appeared to me at first as extremely high flying seagulls roughly 15 of them high in the sky, they were in fact so high I couldn't tell what they were, so I just told myself they were seagulls, my curiosity made me look back up at a 90 degree angle to observe the objects and thinking to myself "Birds don't fly that high!". Another charistic about these flying objects that made me determine they were not merely bird was they only moved one at a time and in a fast jerking motion but stayed in a tight group *Hold your hand up to the sky and they could all fit within the palm of your hand *.

I observed the objects for about 30 minutes but unfortunately did not have a camera close by to snap a photo, I have seen exact depictions of what I've seen in other people's photo's of these objects but I can't seen to find any with a Google search.

Has anyone else experienced a similar sighting? I would be interested in figuring out what exactly I saw.

I've ran it through in my mind and thay could not have been, birds, planes, helicopters, satellites, stars or an illusion on my part, I do not do drugs and it was a clear blue day outside.

Can anyone here relate to this type of sighting? I have seen other objects in the sky but this one has got the most of my attention as it was in broad day light and I was the only person who seemed to see them.

P.S great site! original.gif

*UPDATED*

I have found a similair photo to exactly what I seen, however there were more of these objects in the sky then the picture shows. THIS IS NOT MY PICTURE, just an example!

I was very young, about 10 years old, I remember being on my school play ground, I spent the rest of my recess time staring at these objects, the time I vuagly remember being a little after noon.

I have told people about this in the past, but most people around me are not intrested in these things.

recently I have seen stars moving in the sky which have made quick slight angle adjustments along with other strange lights in the sky, from very slow moving, dim lights to quick moving luminus lights which speed across the sky.

This however was the first sighting I rememberhaving, which is probably why it sticks with me the most.

I live in Oklahoma btw, which I just recently found out is right near where most of the sightings in the US are seen

A friend of mine in the Air Force had an off-duty sighting this past March of objects similar to those in the provided photograph. The sighting occurred at around 7pm while out with friends. One of them noticed what they thought to be fireworks in the sky. Immediately thereafter they realized they were not fireworks. He described "50-70 orange orbs" that "swarmed in and out of each other and had no problem cutting in any direction instantly." They observed these orbs for only a few seconds before they appeared to form a geometric formation similar to a bow tie and held the position stationary in the sky for roughly 4-5 seconds before again moving about in an erratic manner. Seconds later they ascended until they were no longer visible.

The witness had no previous interest in the phenomenon whatsoever. I know personally because I had discussed it with him years before and he had been disinterested. I have known him since Junior High, and can personally attest to his credibility. I hadn't spoken to him in almost a year when he sent me a text message late at night because he couldn't sleep. He was so astounded by what he had witnessed and while laying in bed remembered that I was interested in UFOs and figured I would listen.

However, I am not particularly fond of these ambiguous "lights in the sky" stories. It is the close range sightings of solid, metallic objects that most interest me. Nocturnal lights are certainly baffling, but aren't very convincing, at least not to me. Definitive conclusions cannot be drawn from "lights in the sky."

Some of your sightings that you described occurring at night sound like satellites to me. I don't think more than a few seconds goes by when I look at the night sky that I don't see a satellite or two go by. The brighter objects could be commercial airliners. They can appear rather bright on a clear night and appear more frequently than you would think. After sometime you start to see the patterns in the location of the lights that indicates the normal flight path to or from a given airport.

I also think that because your sighting occurred when you were so young that it may be confabulated and distorted. It doesn't mean such distortion is intentional. For instance, I have a vague memory of viewing what I thought was a white frisbee-like object traveling at high-speed that disappeared behind a small isolated cloud patch in the sky on a clear summer afternoon. I watched for it to come out the other end, but it never did. I was roughly 6 years old at the time, and obviously the memory is very vague. It could very well have been an airplane that had changed direction behind the cloud, thus appearing from my vantage point to have disappeared, when in fact it had not. Although, my recollection of the event suggests the object was moving far too fast to be an airplane at that altitude -- but again, considering the age and vagueness of the memory this could very well be confabulation.

At any rate, welcome to the UM UFO forum!

While I do accept the idea that most of the things I see(have saw in the past) might possible be 100% explainable, I do not rule out the fact that what I seen was 100% identifiable by ordinary human means.

I have noticed flight patterns from the small airfield that is 2 miles away and usually flys single engine smaller planes, this was not a small plane, and we do not get airliners flying over our city. Satelites do orbit the arth at a fast pace and when in the night sky would possibly be mistaken for a UFO.

I still believe that what I seen and have claimed to see in the picture was stated in my original post, which is unexplainable and still lingers in my mine, even if its not an up close experience.

Unlike you I have not seen a UFO up close where I could be able to make out details, only far off objects which could be explained probably very easily, I do not clame to have seen aliens, nor do I claim that I have seen spaceships, however I do claim to have seen extremly out of the ordinary bizzare behaving objects in our sky.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm really enjoying this website. I would spend more time browsing through the intresting posts and user's submitted videos but its past my bedtime original.gif

goodnight.

Hey welcome to UM wavey.gif

Intersting sighting, I've never experienced one myself, but have heard reports of UFO sightings similar to yours. These sightings were reported around the nearby AF Base.
