Full Version: Do we have the technology to destroy HIV?

So I've heard that tests in Israel resulted in the successful destruction of the HIV virus. The method? Lasers! Apparently the test lasers were able to destroy the virus (and other harmful viruses) by causing vibrations that destroyed their capsids (the outer shell of the virus which is its protection against the white blood cells of our immune system). The best part of this is that the cells of our bodies do not have such shells (capsids) so the laser likely has no negative effect.

This could be it, ladies and gentlemen!

wow, any confirmation on this? source?

My sourse was last month's issue of Popular Mechanics.

Haven't heard anything since.

I would assume that every single different virus strain would have a different resonant frequency because of different capsid structures. In addition, capsids can change through mutation and evolution. I bet that ther are even capsid mutations that could create structues that are damped against resonance. Thus, such resonant destruction of viruses would be vulnerable to resistance just like antibiotics for bacteria.

Hmmm, both yes and no.

By the way, here is a BBC News article on it. No doubt that every single virus strain would have a different resonance frequency, however, the beauty of this contraption is that the wavelength of the laser can be changed real time to match the resonance frequency of the virus in question. A scenario could be that a blood sample taken from a patient is analyzed and new strains/vira are subjected to different wavelengths in petri dishes (or whatever is used) until a match is found. Obviously one have to avoid the wavelengths that would cause harm to normal human cells wink2.gif

How come hundreds of people have tested positive for HIV, but have able to make themselves HIV negative just by will power?

How is that possible that the mind alone can change whether you are HIV negative or not...it brings up one of my theories. When you have positive feelings naturally the + cations are going to rise to the top. Though when you are depressed you naturally feel 'inward' because the - electrons are compressing into the body thus damaging causing wbc to go out of control...which some see as 'white noise' because it is literally destroying tissue.

Now humans in general are able to change their pulse, breathing rate, and body temp. with some techniques used in biofeedback. I did some training and had sensors hooked up to me being able (after a few sessions) to change my temp. to 87 to 100 degrees. Now if humans are able to do this all the time, then why can one not change their vibrations, because yes the human body does have natural vibrations/wave frequencies.

With positive thinking, thus lifting the body outwards, causing wbc not to overact and what not you create a perfect enviorment to aid against such viruses, so isn't it possible with powerful thinking alone and 'targeting' to rid of this without technology itself.

I seem to hear over and over again that most HIV sufferers feel as though they were 'victims' and this leads to depression and thus leading to a more progressive virus, however I've also heard of people that did have HIV but changed their outlook on life and are doing great

Em I would like to hear some of your thoughts on this, note I said HIV not AIDs
