Hi , I have been thinking lately about the power of thought. Does anyone out there feel as lost as I do ? I feel we as a species have much more potential. We are so tied up in this system that does'nt work, lost in a life of economics and war. I have no proof, But I could honestly believe that 50% or more of western civilization are using anti depressants.Maybe the planet. Something is wrong,Harmony has been lost. My spirit is tired but searching for hope and new ideas for a better future for mankind and this once beautiful planet.
Are there people out there who dream these same dreams? Can we get together and discuss a brighter future, a new way.The power of thought may be all we need.Instead of suffocating our minds with fear and pain.I don,t know.But it has got to be worth a try.Can anyone out there plant some thought seeds towards a practical greener,healthier way of living that does,nt rely on massive taxation rackets and forcing poor people into more poverty.Back to the power of thought.If anyone is interested at 6pm every evening I am donating one minute of my day towards thoughts of hope and love for all of us.Maybe if enough people would care to join me doing this we could make a differance.Just positive thoughts about anything,Turn off the gloom of the evening news and dwell on how better things could be for us all.What have we to lose? Call me a hippy,nutter or religious crank whatever.I am none of those.I am a caring person who wants a better life experience for all.Anyway my thoughts are with you all out there.Times are not good and about to get worse unless we focus our thoughts on a better future for all. cheers. I think that the best thing any of us can do to change the state the world is in is to manage our own thoughts every day.

There is real power in thoughts. One minute a day is not much of an effort. May I suggest a bit more time for daily reflection on how well we have used the power of our thoughts during each day. The way we think is a habit that has been crafted much more by others than ourselves, IMO. Our world would change overnight if we expanded our own thought process.

Tis true. We get caught up in the frenzy of everyday... everything just speeds us by, as we are speeding by it. It's crazy. We really need to train or discipline ourselves to stop for a moment, breath, and absorb the here and now in our own minds. Ever see a beautiful sunset, or the nice purple-red-orange hues in the clouds? A perfect moment and sight to dwell on- Connect with it, and in doing so you're connecting to your own body, mind and spirit.

6pm is different to everyone on the planet. Your 6pm could be my 10pm.

Anyway. A truly amazing post. That is really the attitude that the rest of the world needs.

But there are always 3 paths...

The "bad" path... the "good" path... and the median path.

Instead of taking the path of what you stated is "bad" and taking the path of "love" and happyness is just the opposite. And it really doesn't get you anywhere in the long run.
Though it balances the equation currently by canceling the "badness" of the world, once the equation is balanced, staying "good" will just unbalance the equation again.

Therefore, Take the median path. Be emotionless, yet understand the bad possibilities and the good possibilities.

Always take the middle road for it is the one that leads you to the correct and natural harmonic.

I'm living my life in this manner and... well.... there are no words to describe it.

yeah pretty much after i saw a guy's arms tied up to two cars and then both cars driving away to rip his arms apart and crazy human cruelty it just made me realize humans have no dam chance.. and if "Extraterrestial" do exsist that would show why they think were not ready for them, also saw camels,pigs, and dog's getting mutilated and not for food just for no reason, just cus the dumb human wanted to have fun with a creature so innocent..this made me realize humans are not ****ing going nowhere in this world ever and i lost hope! its so sad cus i know those are the types of people that are stubburn and belive they are always right and no media, nothing will touch their hearts if to them this is fun theres no hope. so i hoped that they would all die. which kind of makes me one of them.

This needs to be passed on to the younger generation,then maybe and one point in life there really will be a life of love.
Forget donating 1 minute to this I donate 30minutes and take it out of my daily meditation,this seems worth it,anything for a peaceful world.

lol I skimmed most of your post. Your thoughts are a bit similar to mine,but...kinda a large difference.lol
So then, people lack moral,I guess. We get caught up in the heat of the moment of anger and fear. =/. Most of the murderers and criminals have either really regretted what they've done or have gone insane from depression.
The bad thing is power =/. Some know how to use it,some don't. I hear a lot of trash talking about the government. But what exactly what will those people do when they take those jobs in the government? They would end up doing the same thing. Money is the issue,maintaning the economy is an issue. We all forgot our morals at some point. Thank God we have a mind of our own to decide our own future or else we'd be lost in society's game of everlasting "trying to be part of the world".
I knew a guy who got abused by his mother,had no father,went in the army and played a role where he was shanked at and shot at. He's still alive and he doesn't give up hope to the criminals of today.He helped me, he helped gang bangers turn into good boys. =]
It's basically obvious. Man kind are social creatures. We cannot live without one another...
When times get tough and you lose the way, stick to life. You never know what you might find. Like in a bag full of surprise! =D
