Anyways, there was threads made about The Myans and some great guy who game up with the great 7 day theory about the stages ect of life and how its gone so far.

3rd day being a mirace like The cave men found fire and 7th day being somthing horrible to end the stage i:E the ice age but fire was what they needed to survive... it has gone up like this through time and it makes perfect sence.

I've seen the December 21, 2012 date but 12-12-12 seems the more common and is the one used for the History Channel documentary.

The first time I heard about 2012 was in 2000 after a major train crash in Lillestrøm, Norway.
In a TV program later that year (I think), one of the passengers said had seats in the front of the train, but he didn't feel good about it and sat down at the back instead. It was a program about said guy and his belief in UFOs and the extraterrestrials. He claimed, among other things, to have an implant and agreed to do a x-ray to find it. Of course the x-ray didn't show anything, but he claimed the implant wasn't made of a metal known to man

Anyway, he brought up 2012 because he was convinced that was the date when humans take the next step in "evolution". Some of us would then "upgrade" into higher beings depending less on our physical bodies (like grays). It would be mostly young people (everyone born after a certain date was "star children", ready for upgrade if you will), but also elderly of course.
so according to him (and his followers and the ones he himself followed), 2012 would not be the end of the world or humanity, just the end of our current state.

ugh...people are already7 evolving beyond our limit. In 2012...nothing at all will happen...just like every other time the world ended in the past week.

Take a lie down, realise that in the past 2 decades at least there have been over 50 'End of the World' prophecies. Y2K ? Heavens Gate ? all came, all went, and nothing happened. A lot of people will be very annoyed when 2013 comes along and they realised they have lived the past 4 years in fear.
