For any non scotsmen Wemyss bay(prononced weems)is a small village on the coast of inverclyde scotland(sorry for the tour guide spiel)When my dad was about 18 he worked as a delivery boy deliverying the bread to a well it use to be a hospital or a hotel not sure which he cant remember. He used to drive up a small country road round the back of the delivery entrance .The gatekeeper would come round and take him round and down a flight of stairs to a door that only he had the keys to.Just to keep the deliverys safe until used.Well what happened was my father was making his round the gatekeeper came round and opened the door like usual so my dad put the bread on the table and left and locking the door behind him.He turned to say bye to the keeper but he had gone so he walked up the stairs to see the gatekeeper coming down the stairs but when he got closer it wasn't the same man so when the gatekeeper asked if he wanted in he was surprised when my dad said he had already been let in he was told that was impossible .They both went back down looked in the window and there was the bread on the table .Suposedly it was not the first time that it happened it was an old gatekeeper from long before who still wanders around helping people .My dad quit the next day

Thanks for the really nice comments. Its not really a story but its about where i live its a place called faifley if you look it up on wikipedia theres a section all about the druids stones that where found .Its said to have the finest 'cup and ring'formation ever found. Its a very old village over 700 years old.there is a place not in fafiley itself but in the hills surrounding it called the three graves every couple of nights the graves move around the area there far to heavy to move without damaging the ground around it.I must admit it is quite strange there also quite an oppressive feel to the area .Thats not the only strange thing we have a old folks home called edinbarnet house its also has many farming and research buildings belonging to glasgow university. But theres a bridge that connects to the main house called the suicide bridge its not people that jump of it but animals you dont take you're dogs of the leash if you go near it though most people stay away from it.I dont really think its supernatural but the place is a vet school and theres an abitoir in the area the cattle came that way to go to slaughter. But its just a weird thing for animals to behave that way.

Well i think i've pratteld on long enough i'm speaking to my family tonight about some other stories that id like to post
