Neil Entwhistle is on trial for allegedly murdering his wife and child and then fleeing to the UK to avoid charges, though he claims he found them and was so grieved he ran back to Mummy for comfort, leaving their bodies where he found them, because he loved them so much....

Here is a video, of him while watching crime scene film. Some reporters reported he was laughing, then when the defense got all worked up about it, now they say he was crying, but you be the judge.

I find it disturbing and his reactions to be ... well, I can't imagine reacting that way to a film of my family laying dead, but maybe I am wierd? Maybe this is just British stoic? .... personally, in my gut, he is not reacting right for an innocent man, but I'd like to know what others think. It bugs me how he keeps looking and watching it and the look in his eyes isn't horror to me. He seems excited and putting on an act. Am I being unfair?

I agree he seems to be laughing and trying to cover that up. I asked my son to look at it and I did not tell him what he was watching but ask him what did he hink the guy was doing and he said he is laughing but trying to cover that he is. I told him then what he was seeing and he was like that is so cold hearted.

Hi Niles, They lived around 10 miles from me. He is a classic sociopath, as you can tell. He killed his wife and little baby, covered them up, brought back the gun, and then went to airport and flew to Mommy and Daddy's in the UK..I remember they found her DNA on the gun and his, but the father in law used the gun afterward. When they checked his computer, he was reading porn and often. His claim was that their sex life went down the drain when the baby was born, so the poor guy was frustrated (GRRRR) PLUS he couldnt hold a job, was not working, and finances were dire. His wife had a huge insurance policy on her. I have yet to see that madman show any emotion at all. He never even came back to bury them OMG..We dont have the death penalty here, so I hope he gets life,and not a possibility of parole. I pray his wife and baby Lilly rest in peace..JN

Yep, I felt that, but I really was disgusted by the film clip and then reading the paper calling it "crying". I'm sick of this namby pamby dealing with a growing social problem of exploding percentages of these personality types in the population. I do not believe they are curable, and they should not be evaluated by what a normal person would do.

HOWEVER, knowing how I am, I thought, OK, maybe you're just a cold hearted b towards poor criminals and murderers, NS, so get someone else's opinion on this clip, ya know?

To me, he was EXCITED to watch the films of his betrayal of thier trust, and proud even of it.

Hi NS, to me it looked like he was laughing too, that POS..He has been smug since his arrest, he just doesnt care. The Police were more upset than he was..I do believe he is proud, its like saying "See what I did Mommy?" GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR..His name is all over our area ugh..I have been trying to get to that school for weeks, but it keeps on raining, plus we are doing some minor renovations on the house, so time has not been on my side..I will get there as soon as possible, I am really looking forward to going. If I hadn't known what this guy was watching, I'd have sworn he was smiling. Like he was watching an old Charlie Chaplin short, or something. This guy is truly sick and twisted. The woman/lawyer next to him is a cyborg, though.

Creepy, he does look totally excited and happy about the video. I asked my husband a while ago to watch the video and tell me what emotions were playing on this guys face (He didn't read what it was about prior or during just was watching the guy on the video), he told me it looked like he was laughing or smiling and trying to hide it behind his hand (not very well either I might add).

If he's crying, where are the tears? True, this is just a brief clip, but why wasn't he using that hand to wipe his eyes or something? Oh, that's right...it's because he wasn't crying. He is breathing heavy, which could be an indicator of stress sometimes but, in this case, I think it's more likely excitement. He looks at the video, looks down, looks back up. Honestly, he seems like he is enjoying it.

It is as if he can't keep his eyes off it, and his eyes seem to glow, he never once winces or seems in pain over what he is watching.

There was definitely a lack of remorse in the video. It actually looked like he was trying to get tears by squeezing his eyes shut...

JUST IN, Neil Entwistle found guilty of first degree murder of his wife and baby Lillian. He has been sentenced to life in prison w/out the possibilty of parole..Justice served. Hope they can rest in peace now..JN

Just saw that myself. Good to see some justice in the systems. Way to go Brits. Get him off the streets. For the murder of his baby (slime) he should get quite some deserved attention in Old Bailey!

He is a Brit but was tried and convicted here, in my state. I was sickened when his parents said that Rachel killed their granddaughter because she was depressed. I know they want to believe in their son, but that was a rotten thing to say, seeming as though the bullet went thru the baby into the mother, impossible. They will put him in protective custody for a time, but after that he is on his own..JN

That should read, "Way to go Yanks" (took place right here in may home state of Massachusetts USA). The DNA evidence was extremely strong, the guy is yet another cast from the same mold as the infamous Scott Peterson. These psychopaths appear to see their own wives and children 'disposable'...chilling to say the least.

Wow, he -does- look like he's laughing. He made some clever attempts at trying to hide his joy, though. With the crier's swallow -- something a lot of people do when they are crying -- and with the squinting of his eyes. But then they squeeze shut like most do when someone's laughing really hard. That guy is horrible.
