I'm sure this will be moved into another forum soon, I was unsure where to put this but wanted the regulars in this forum to have a read anyway. I hope you can take something from this.
I have always taken a slightly skeptical point of view, not because I have dismissed supposed paranormal experiences as nonsense, but because I firmly believe it is the witness who mistakenly mis-identifies the phenomenon.
Well, I have been somewhat shaken by an experience with a psychic reading and spirit (or 'entity' as he put it) channeling I had performed on me yesterday (Sunday, Australian time).
From the onset I was awe struck by this man; my past lives readings painted an incredibly accurate description of my character, and unlike horrorscopes from newspapers there was no vagueness to his words. I liken it to thinking of a number between 1 and 1,000,000 and accurately predicting the number exactly.
Moving along, he laid me down on a table and asked me to clear my mind and focus purely on my body. Within moments my mind seemed to take on an ethereal state, and several objects and animals sprung into my mind as inhabiting certain parts of my body. The most awe inspiring feeling came from a name that seemed to pass through my body, and a mental image of a setting sun called 'Rose' (it sounds strange - but that's how my mind was operating at the time) which lead me into a field with a single tree in my peripheral. This 'Rose' wrapped me in a yellow flag or sheet, and soon I was walking towards a glowing light blue light.
From the light a woman approached me, the only name I sensed was 'Mary'. Mary didn't seem to have a form, Mary was simply a 'feeling' that wanted to hug me and re-assure me. It was strange to think about this afterwards, because I got the sense that I didn't actually meet a person....it was like....the feeling of touching the universe itself. I simply can't describe it. Soon both Rose and the lady left and I was left feeling empty.
All in all apart from Rose and the Blue lady , I still do not know what to make of my experiences. I was never coaxed into a response, but then again I don't know if my mind was playing tricks on my conciousness. I was far from an REM state, and was fully awake through the whole experience.
I just wanted to share.
If anyone has had any similar experiences feel free to post them here.

WOW Syntax, that sounds quite intense. I have meditated but never sensed the same feelings you did, which is pretty amazing. When our minds are not constantly spinning out of control, and focused on basically one thing, I believe we can tap into another dimension, if you will..How did you feel once it was all over, sad, empty or possibly a new emotion? JN

I certainly didn't feel like a dream, however the responses I gave this man did confuse me.
For instance I sensed a Dragon which was swimming in my groin, and I still feel the prescence of this 'thing' in my body still. I would never normally mention something like this at all in everyday conversation, but I could plainly see and feel these entities in my body. The most frightening experience however was a pair of disembodied hands that I saw were hovering over the top of my head (metaphysically of course) which I felt wanted to push my over onto my face if I were to stand up.
As for the feeling afterwards, I felt fantastic. Like someone had just told me I had won the lottery. However I put that partly down to the rush of blood to my head once I finally was able to sit up.
Two of my friends also attended, although we each conducted our readings seperately and didn't discuss them until afterwards. My friend shared a similar experience that rattled me a little...she was lead into a garden filled with Roses and had met with a beautiful woman who identified herself as 'Lidia'. Apart from the connection with Roses, she was simply told that she would 'always be loved' and to cling on to her family.
The 'Rose' connection didn't click until just now. However I'm not too sure if there was something that we had both experienced the same day that could have lead us to that conclusion.
Anyways, it was certainly a strange time.

WOW Thats intense..You dont believe she hypnotized you right? I do know, a few years ago I was taught how to get into deep meditation, what I didnt know was that was relaxing at first, but then I had vivid hallucinations, so I dont know what to think...So, what do you do about the sensations that dont sound pleasant, still in your body?? That would concern me, unless its temporary..JN

could these feelings visions be subconcious fears?
these disembodied hands hovering over your head could represent a subconcious fear of holding yourself back from attaining your dreams... but that is a rather obvious observation on my part i guess. The brain is an amazing thing.

If your saying that Mary lady that felt like she wanted to hug and reassure you, is the same person as the "blue lady" as your describing her...
Im wondering if it could be "Mother Mary"...She is often related to the color of a baby blue or sky blue, like the color of a Robins egg...and her shawl is always the same color when depicted in a painting or statue....

Wow!! It seems to me that you was in a Hypnotic state and that is so awesome. Sometimes during this state of mind someone could actually go into your brain and just pull out so many things from your past....and even make you reveale your deepest secrets. Did mary feel like a motherly kinda feeling???
I'm assuming the women seen this Mary, and Lidia, could be guardian angels.. or spirit guides (what some would call them).
The hands on the head, and dragon in the loins sounds very symbolic to me. Almost as if it's representing subconscious fears.

upon reflection, much like Ghostnetwork remarked, I put a lot of this down to my own subconcious in a meditated and/or hypnotic state. Because of this you are right, these animals in distinctive parts of my body were the flaws of my characteristics personified.
For instance the dragon in the groin, sex has always been a weakness of mine. I have always regarded myself as someone who honestly validates the values of a relationship, yet sex is still my greatest drive. It has put me in situations that I regret or causes me distress. I attribute the swimming to 'cruising' or just casually strolling.
The disembodied hands I felt were pushing me forward, however my own reluctance (spelling? i'm too tired to look haha) to go forward would cause me to fall forwards onto my face instead of moving ahead.
As for Mary...that I can not explain. I was raised catholic, yet have always valued science and the written word above my own religion. I certainly sensed at the time that I was coming face to face with the holy mother. Her final words to me have really struck a nerve with me, she kept repeating the phrase: "Forward, forward, forward".
This happened to me several times, a word or number would keep appearing in my head and I would be compelled to shout it out over and over. The number 18 was of some significance.
I distinctly recall the feeling of one of these so called 'entities' wrapping itself around my ribs and screaming "18...18...18...18". I also sensed it was male and a fire was involved.
