i have a couple of questions about this topic, i sometimes feel things in my house, like if someone is following me or behnd me(is this how it feels to sense a spirit/ghost?) anothr thing is could u befriend a ghost and be like buddies? could he help u in many things?

Yes, the feeling of a presence is often an indication of a haunting. But it isn't a declaration.

Often, ghosts were/are our friends. Remember, they are just passed on human spirits. Also remember there are very bad humanbeings that die everyday. Becareful who your friends are.

Be careful just accepting a ghost. How does the feeling of them being there feel? Do you feel uncomfortable or sad, does it feel like someone may just be watching you, or is it a good sensation? like jackal said you do have to be careful who you're friends with.

ok but is that the feeling u get when there is a presence of a spirit, and could u comunocate with them and get clear answers like if u were talking with someone else? plus could they be helpful and/or controled?

well someties it feels like its just there other time it like hes going everywere with me like if it cant get away from me, sometime that makes me feel uncomfturble because i like to have space

There are a few different feelings we get, such as being watched, being followed, cold chills etc. You cannot carry on a 2 way conversation with one, they dont talk the way we do, so its not like you can hang out with one, and discuss things. Just be careful, and dont get too close..JN

NO, see they communicate for the most part, telepathically and they arent around us, to be share their secrets or knowledge, but for other reasons, of their own. Put it this way, you cant be buddies with one. I have a resident male spirit named John, and I can talk to him, but he wont talk back, but instead will make a tapping sound or move something. It depends on the energy of the spirit..JN

Very True. They can send images, or very powerful thoughts with emotions, pictures in your mind. Sometimes, it's similar to a movie. I think it depends on the energy, as Jn Stated.

wat about through a dream, or random thougts?

I've never gotten any information from a spook through a dream, or random thoughts.. but someone else may have. When I experienced spirits they have manifested themselves to me, & at that time I get the movie in my head, or overpowering images with emotions that tell me things.. I guess some people would call it visions. I can hear thoughts, but the spook isn't talking like we do..LOL. It's telepathically. best way I can explain it.

awsome, ive never had any exp. like that or any thing too serious or cool, except 4-5 yrs ago i went to sleep around 12:?? something like that and at that time i had a bunk bed, wen i went to bed i strated hearing things outside my room, but every1 in the house was alrdy asleep, when i look to the side my door opens and closes itself and i close my eyes and i see this dude with a knife climbing on my right side of my bunk bed(top) and he was breathing on me and i was pretty scared out of my pants

I probably would've been scared out of my pants too.
Chances are if you see or experience anything before falling asleep, during, or coming out, it could be the mind playing tricks on you.. don't forget that. No need to be scared when it's really no reason.

I have always been under the assumption that only divine creatures (angels, God...demons) can actually influence or come to you in your subconscious, or unconscious state of REM sleep. I believe this level of intervention is beyond the scopes of disembodied human spirits. Though it is very possible for them to awaken you in a stupor and pass on a message while you are not completely aware. But to enter your mind or dwell within you is a feat beyond their degree of ability, unless invited while in a fully conscious state. And this requires some extra sensory skill not common in most. ~Jackal

I guess it would depend on the ghost. I've heard of ghosts that were as real to the viewer as you or me. People have had conversations with ghosts and only later found out that the person they met, had been dead for years. I've even heard of ghost coming back to tell a relative who murdered them.
Ghosts and spirits are a mystery, not a science, and nobody really knows the answers to your questions.

This is a great post Jen. True, very true. And as you say, there is no proof for any of it so it remains a mystery still. But to those that have experienced it, proof is scraps from the table for the sceptical masses. They could care less if we believe or not. They know what happened.

Two things to keep in mind
1 Most theories for why gohst exist State one of two things, a ghost (the person who died) is here to be punished, they are denied passage to the next world.
or, they have "unfinished bussiness".

2 If the ghost was a bad person they may try to hurt or use you. If they have unfinished business they will have no insterest in "being your friend' or being contorlled unless they see a way to use you to complete their task so that they can move on. Sorry but Casper was a childer's story.
