I'm wondering....

Having read a number of posts here on the subject of lucid dreams, I came to the realization that I have them all the damned time. If I want something to happen in a dream, it happens. If I want to fly, I can fly. If I want to travel to another world, I do it.

Sometimes there is a problem with this. I enjoy lucid dreaming, and I am very aware of the fact that I am indeed dreaming, but I remain asleep nonetheless. Not a bad sounding proposition, right? The problem with this is that a particularly long night of sleep, anything greater than 5 hours, usually results in me being even more tired than I was when I went to bed. It seems that lucid dreams drain me somehow, especially the ones about flying.

But that's not the main topic of this discussion...

I was sondering how many of you out there have SEEN something, i.e. a ghost, or a monster, or how many of you have premonitions or other psychic phenomena, how many of you have had UFO sightings? Have you have seen what you think is an unusual amount of these things (you tend to see them more than others)? And of so, do you have lucid dreams? I am sure I'm not the first person to consider the possibility of a link... Just curious, no real discussion is necassary, but if you care to add anything, be my guest. That's what we're all here for, right?

Heh, lucky you. I've always wanted to have lucid dreams all the time. I do get them, I think, once in a while. A lot of times I'll think I want to do something and then do it. Example, right after seeing X-men 2 I had a dream I was Logan (Wolverine). Yes, that is kiddy and all that but it was somewhat fun. However, during the dream I was getting my ass kicked, and thought if only I could fly...and BAM, airborne. That's happened before, and sometimes I've taken full control of dreams without ever realizing during the dream that it's not real. As far as I'm concerned at the moment, I'm bending reality to my will.

As for connections, sure. I think there are. I'm sort of a gulible skeptic though, so don't ask me. I've only had a few random experiances and half could be because I'm nuts. Again, I'm not sure if I've every had lucid dreams either, so yeah...I'll stop rambling now. sad.gif

Just in case anyone here didn't know, a lucid dream is where you're aware of your dreaming. It has nothing to do with thinking about something and then it entering your dreams.
You'll know when you've become lucid, because you're aware. thumbsup.gif

yep, im a lucid dreamer and ive seen 1) a ghost, 2) bigfoot, and 3) a ufo. i saw the ghost and bigfoot alone(well, i was next to my wife when i saw the ghost but she was sleeping and i was awake), but the ufo in the presence of my stepmom. i personally dont think they are connected.
