As the topic says...Where are you from, as in where were you born, and where do you live now?

I'm from the suburbs of Philadelphia and am currently in South Korea. I move every few years as I'm in the US Air Force.

How about you? Still home or have you ventured away?

From England and still live in England, but I'm only 1/4 English.

Someday I want to visit Scotland too as our family is from there WAY back. I have a blackwatch kilt and someday will be able to afford the family tartan kilt.

I was in Abilene Tx for 3 years....THAT is the middle of nowhere my friend I did go to Houston 1 day but that was business (Japanese Embassy or Consulate or something) so I didnt really get to see it

Born in Indiana, lived in Ohio most of my life. Have also lived in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Idaho. Hubby was in the Air Force when we were first married so we moved around a lot. He spent a year in South Korea as well.

No, south west of Edinburgh, not very far. I'd have to ask my brother (family geneologist) though "where we were" before that. I chose the Black Watch tartan as it is not clan specific and it was inexpensive for an 8 yard kilt ($60). A family tartan will cost about $350 and I dont have that kind of $$ on hand at the moment.

I was born in Redmond Washington just a couple miles east of Seattle. Redmond is best known for being the headquarters of Microsoft, Nintendo America. and Eddie Bauer. I still live in Redmond, about 10 blocks from the house I grew up in.

I've visited every continent on earth except for Africa and Antarctica. I'm still perplexed as to how I've missed Africa to this point.

I lived briefly in Suffolk England which I loved, briefly in Southern California which I hated, and briefly in suburban WA DC, which I loved.

And... I drink Coffee ... DUHHHHH... this is Seattle! LOL.

In between, I've lived in Mexico and Panama and have visited every continent except Antartica and Australia (Hey, MissMels, I got Africa!
