You may have seen an animated video about 3 minutes long titled "Christmas Tauntauns". It's a British production about a little girl dreaming of Star Wars toys for her Christmas gifts. (if you haven't seen it here's a link to it on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Up-eRyp5e0A).

The woman who sings it is Kirsty Dawson. I always wonder what she was like. She had such an incredible voice in that video!

I tried to find her on the web but didn't succeed. Last fall I potsed a comment on the YouTube video about how much I liked the music, her singing and was very curious to see what she was like. Was she a young girl? Or a much older woman?

Well, guess what? - Recently I got an email from Kristy!

She had seen my comments on the YouTube video and wrote to me. She was 16 at the time of the video (now she's 29) and we've had a great email conversation going on for awhile.

It's so great to have been able to meet (so to speak) her.
