Ok confession time, my desk is usually a giant pit of stuff. I have an obsession for blue desky items and its usually covered with those and crafts, mail, bills, couple of glasses, and many other odds and ends that leads my cat to snoop around it. I'm in the process of switching to a new computer so I'm dismantling my desk and surrounding area in my house and reorganizing and putting it all back together.

How about your desk? Neat as a pin? or a Total disaster....

Feel free to put up pics. I plan on taking them to show my family so they don't think I'm a total slob...

My desk should be condemned; I keep cleaning it off and those darn clutter gremlins keep putting everything back on it again!!!

Mines always as neat as a pin. I dont like having a messy area. I dont even like having crumbs/dust on my desk. I like it Mr Sheen clean.

oooohhh..lol Thats my goal. It'll be like that for maybe an hour after I'm done and then the crap will just magically migrate back. I think it breeds when I'm not looking. I will photograph it all pretty and neat and print it out, put it up here and then watch it all disappear under a mountain again. Just how my desk is. Yours though...very nice...

Mine is rather messy.

Half a bag of chips, quarter bottle of vodka, assorted food wrappers, two empty boxes of cigs, a PS2 memory card, two sets of headphones, a hammer, three emty cans of dr pepper, a full ashtray, a hlf cup of water, scattered books(Bible, Hawkings, and The Dark Knight Returns), a broken pocket knife, nail clippers, and oh theres my tv remote!

I don't have a desk, only a laptop.... now ask me about my side table and coffee table. Ugh, MUST clean house tomorrow.

1 plate, 4 catalogs, a wadded up paper towel, one pair of shoes, a flip flop I can't find the mate to, the box my PDA came in which I bought over a month ago, a pink highlighter pen, a dog eared book of crossword puzzles, a pigs ear (that belongs to the dog) a Fisher Price fishbowl that I need to wrap for my neice, 2 empty beer bottles, 2 coffee cups, oh and there's the coffee pot, a spare laptop, socks that look clean. Ya, I need to do some cleaning up. Pfft, embarassing. At least I have the day off tomorrow to see if my coffee table is still underneath all that crap.

Mine is clean! However this is a rather unusual occurrence that only happens for a couple of days after I have cleaned it.

How is the state of your desk?
Usually pretty good, but sometimes cluttered.

Mine should be condemned.

I have leatherworking stuff in one area,my doggie treats (for myself,of course),several candles,a jar of quarters,boxes of band-aids,a jar of vitamins (gotta try to stay somewhat healthy),a bag of cookies that are probably stale,a bunch of pens and pencils,some polyhedron dice,blank cds,an extra ink cartridge for the combo printer/scanner/copier (which is also on the desk),the roomie's large speakers,a battery operated pencil sharpener,some extra batteries,a small flashlight,some sewing needles,a couple of small notebooks,a pair of chopsticks,a bunch of old receipts...and some dust.

Mine is a mess...I have my laptop, a bottle of Ivory dishwashing detergent, a bottle of Swifter floor cleaner, newspapers from a year ago, my grandson's spiderman bike helmet, with a figure of power rangers inside it, a gumball machine, no gum, no money, a half opened bottle of wine and a plastic container full of pens, pencils, etc...oh and bills, lots of bills Figure if I put everything away I won't remember where I put it... Now I'm looking at my kitchen countertops, but I won't even go there...

Friday nights anything goes with my desk! The rest of the week spick and span!

Mine is always full of rubbish and just general mess. I do clean it off every now and then if Ive lost something but I only fill it with more crap when Im done.

About 10x worse i once was trapped for 2 days when a pile of stuff fell on me

lol oh right not a bachelor ive got no worries there i just wish i could find that goat i lost somewhere in the house.

I don't have everything aligned to angle, but it is uncluttered enough to find what I need when I need it.

Mine's a bit messy. But it's neat though. I'll take a picture of it when I have healthy batteries.

My desk is always tidy as I can't stand clutter, but then I need the space as I use it as a writing desk as well. I have to shift things around to make some room in the middle. I like lots of pens and keep some on my desk along with a few other things. Bills, letters etc. are pinned to my notice board which I have on the wall beside me.
If I don't keep my desk tidy - I don't have enough room on it

a mess that usually gets out of hand with paper work which about once every month or so I organize ( and most ends up as junk) . It will look neat for 3 or 4 days before it starts piling up.

Messy but I can still find a pen if I need to. My room is like that. lol. But I still knows where everything is and I can find it if I have to. It's organized chaos in here.

I take great care to make sure my desk at work and at home are very neat and tidy. Everything has a place and is ready for anything to come my way. I wipe it with pledge every 2 days just to keep it nice and shiny.
