Straightforward topic, but please, for the love of your god, don't go out of the box or start another discussion inside this discussion. I'd enjoy to keep it more concentrated; thanks grin2.gif.

My conclusion to my belief, without the lengthy details is that there defiantly is a heavenly kingdom, there are light beings that help us (angels, aliens, whatever title suits you). My mother has seen the realm between here and heaven with a near death experience and my son had a light being play with him when he was 5, he says the light being put a light into him, he acknowledged this to be 'life' . There are some things I believe because I just feel them, like I feel that we all come here as a part of a soul group, hoping that if we come in groups, we will have a better chance at changing our vibration, again. Ive always had faith, I just felt it. The experiences through my son and my mother just glorified my thoughts and feelings.

I believe what I do because I know that there is a God. With that in mind, I simply follow the religion that is the most logical. In my opinion that religion is Judaism.

I believe what I believe because of my life experiences and that is simply that there is a higher power that we are a part of and one and the same with and that higher power is love.

Why do I beleive what I do?

I really dont know how to explain it other than a inner knowing...a "yes" this is it feeling of knowing....It centers around Christ for me, but more than what is offered thru the bible as it is known... Its the spiritual aspects of Christ and the love, commitment and truth of being. Its an all encomposing feeling of energy and wisdom from within from trying to live with an open heart.

The presence of the spirit, and the wisdom of gratitude for it.

Blessings

Although I am not following any specific religious path. I do however believe in creation. Creation over Evolution, unless offcourse Creation happened through Evolution, but a higher power was in play. I believe something higher than us, wether it be aliens, God, many gods, etc. Something created the earth and mankind. I believe this because of the design in the world. They way that all living things work together. The way that we would not have plant life if it were not the for the bees and pollination, we would not have oxygen if it weren't for the trees, and they would not be able to grow without carbon dioxide which is what we provide for them. We use our hands and fingers to pick things up and hold things. Everything "sees" with eyes. We all have heads, and butts...our eyes are not on our butts..we are not blobs of random mess wondering around the earth. There is design. That is all I know. And that is why I believe in a higher power existing among us.

Can you describe these light beings for me? Like what they look like, what they do and what exactly makes them so heavenly to you or so? Also what you think their intentions are and why exactly they interefere with your life?

The second part of your response makes sense to me but how exactly are you just sure there is a god? And what makes Judaism the logical choice over other monotheistic religions (or any religion if you simply meant there is a higher power)?

Good answer. But have you ever actually tried to prescribe love an equation? For instance, take every reaction that love creates, and try to track it to an action that causes it. For example, is love just a series of environmental factors that are materialized in the shape of a person or a person's actions that send electronic waves to your brain that say "this is good"? Or is love some mystical thing that we just can't describe? Basically, what makes love of a human any more different than say love of two animals or love of two machines like a plug and an outlet?

So do you mean then that you think that something on a higher power, not necessarily the highest, created life? Because that's not the same as the creation vs. evolution argument. That argument deals with everything on earth already being created as is; or a more popular topic, life originating as Genesis says it did. But if you believe that there is still some sort of higher power that still created everything we see (i.e. god), then that's different from creation vs. evolution because science acceptsintelligent design (not that it's the only theory it accepts).

When my son came bariling through the door that day with the biggest smile Ive ever seen him with, I was not prepared for his words. His first words were "Mom! Mom! Ive been playing with Jesus." To this day, I cant tell you what it was, but he discribed it as a yellow lighted person. He said they ran and played hide and seek and tag, he said it 'ran really fast' original.gif The truth was there, in his eyes. He said a light came out of the 'lighted person' as a little tiny ball of yellow light, and it went into him (my son) and he said, "Mom, I think it gave me life" I said, "What makes you think that?" He said that his mind just thinks so. I asked him "what makes you think it was Jesus?" and he said, "well who else could it be?"

I have a few great stories like this, and its the main reason Im participating more in this forum, I feel the need to share experiences and its importance in our lives, to share. So anyways, I had him draw me a picture, remember, he is 5. So drew a picture of a yellow person, and drew a yellow circle around its head. Oddly enough, he placed a little line above the mouth he drew that looks like a mustache.

Honesly, I dont know what they all look like, but I feel there are many. One, for example, the light bearer described as Lucifer. The reason I term light beings as angels is mainly due to the idea that I believe God did create angels, and their purpose right now is nothing less then US. They dont ever interfere, they are only there if you are seeking them. These light beings of the love side, are doing Gods will, nothing less. Sometimes you see these new age groups that want to label it to aliens from so and so constellation or so and so solar system, these are still being of God. Some of these groups that go against their nature are trying to interfere against ones seeking, they are fear based. Some light beings I dont consider angels, some could be highly evolved souls coming back to help the purpose. The purpose is for unity. In the final evolution of our souls, we will return within God, this cant happen until there is a certain weight if you will. There will have to be a certain amount ready for this final evolution for anyone to get back to the creator. Even the ones that dont want this, its inevitable, its the only way. So the higher we evolve, we start to realize something is missing from keeping us going any farther, the thing that is missing is the other souls needed for this step, so then we see we can come back here through dreams, through flesh, through vehicles (ufos) to nudge anyone that is seeking. This is where you see the beautiful but sad thought come, that a soul had evolved higher then it was before, but it needs more, so it can come back here in the flesh, or be a part of a 'soul group' that is trying to help mankind find its nature. There are levels of what light being are, angels were with us from the get go. Why? Because this is a very slow process...letting souls evolve is a process that gets processed. Gods angels dont interfere, they are just there for those that seek truth.

My mother says angels are just glowing beings. No wings, just beautiful glowing beings, they look alot like us,without the light I guess. But again, Ive never seen such things. I did have a vision once, when I first started to connect truly with the higher me. I saw a group of robed figures standing behind me in a crescent shape. I felt that this was like a soul group that took all those beings I saw to make little me. Past selves, I dont know, it was strange, but beautiful. They gave 'tones' like a hum that seemed to say they were all pleased. There is defiantly more then this here what we only see with our eyes.

I believe what I do from my own personal experience , from what I feel ...... I heed no book or document ,since those only confound , confuse and to me distort. I keep what I believe simple and straight forward. Pretty much God made it all , and we all go back when our time is up. pretty much it. the rest is filler .

You seem like a very nice, honest person, so try not to take anything I say offensively.

What I wanted to know was whether your son was born and raised Christian. Because if he is, think about it. When you see the most fantastic humanoid of a thing that is very bright and friendly, what else would you relate it to, being Christian? How exactly would he be able to tell it was Jesus apart from a Hindu god or a buddha or a Roman or Greek god? Besides, the cultural depictions of Jesus, aren't what he actually looked like anyway (if he existed), they are purely symbolic. The halo for example is just a crown of his divinity. Jesus never actually has a halo when he's in Gospel form. Plus his beard/moustache is just an assumption. So was your son born and raised Christian?

You mentioned that these things were presented upon request (I know that sounds disrespectful but I just like to speak/type in a comical way). Is it possible that the next time you see one, you could send it my way? Or would I need to contact them personally? And if so, how would I go about doing that?

Hi again hewak,

Yes, we went to Chrurch every Sunday, and I agree with you that it could of been his pre thoughts on the matter of what a light being would be. I never claimed in the post that it was a fact to be Jesus...alos, this is a topic I try not to anylyze too much, the reason is because its a gem and its my sons to analyze if he ever wishes to. I dont want to pre-set ideas to him. If he asks any questions about spirituality, I usually start out with 'In my opinion so I dont feel like Im forcing any ideas on my children. The important part of the story was he saw 'something', like a glowing person. I dont feel any emphasis need to be placed on his first assumption that it was Jesus.

And my experience, remind you, it was a visual. My eyes were closed, and it was not upon request, it was like receiving a pleasant 'HI' if you will. I had been going through alot of changes within my faith, I was deeply seeking stillness in my mind, I was searching for a higher self if you will. I went through times of intense honesty with myself, about myself, like life confessions to myself, searching my passion for mankind, finding the wonderments in my mother earth, being able to open my mind to the fact that each of us has a connection with the beyond, I began to ask daily when I woke and before I slept, for the angels to show me things. I was at a state of God and my soul being on my mind every moment. Before meditation that day, again, not really expecting any answers, I asked angels to show me things. The vision and the feelings that came with it happened in a flash. Like a clip of a slide show, but it was just one slide. Like a download if you will. I think that visions are something from a higher dimension, that comes in the form us a material image for us to have understanding. Its like a language of the mind. Two things happened. First I kind said in my mind-'But there is so many of you'....The hum from them was like a 'happiness, smile, humbly proud' my other thought was along the lines of 'you are me?' and the feeling of blush rushed through me, just like I would feel if I was blushing.

Im not trying to convince ya, to each their own, you asked people to share, and thats what Im here for. These are personal stories, if you seeking for proof, you will have to seek within yourself. No one person can give you proof. Ones persons path might be totally different then another's. I believe with my whole self that the angels are beings that are here for us when we begin to seek our soul.

Peace,
Virgo
