It all started not too long ago. I was in school and was in gym but I felt really exhausted so I decided to not do any activities and instead take a nap in the bleachers. I was in the midst of falling asleep when I heard what sounded like two "beings" talking back and forth. I couldn't understand what they were saying because it didn't sound like any human language I've heard. I decided to try and listen in and see what I can catch and the more I tried the louder the voices got until, eventually, it erupted into a loud whirring sound. My body became completely paralyzed and everything around me started spinning. Mind you I had my eyes wide open during this experience. I was honestly scared half to death and I wanted it to end but I was unable to move. I tried as hard as I could to get up and I eventually gathered enough strength to lift myself up. I didn't want to sleep anymore after that so I just sat there for the rest of the class period. A few days later I was woken up by my girlfriend (phone call) and she was making sure I would get up and get ready so I wouldn't arrive to school late. I moved to the living room and laid back down. Her cell phone didn't have much time left (pre-paid phone) and the line cut off about 15 minutes in. At this point I was already falling back asleep but I didn't want to or else I'd risk sleeping in. So I did my best to stay awake until suddenly the ceiling disappeared before my eyes and in it's place was the night sky. I couldn't understand what was happening. I knew I was still inside my home because I could feel the couch underneath me. That was abruptly changed when it too vanished and suddenly I was falling. I fell directly into my front lawn. Dazed, I got up, walked back inside my house, laid back on the couch only to experience it again! It was going to happen a third time but I got the nerve to stand up from the couch. I walked into my room and laid down. I called in sick and stayed home the rest of the day. At about 11:30 AM, I was going to go back to sleep when suddenly I heard what sounded like a woman moaning in pleasure. It then changed into that woman screaming. The screaming was cut off by a loud dripping sound. That was cut off by sounds of a church chorus. Again I had found myself paralyzed and unable to move. I started to cry and made a sharp jolt to the right and knocked myself free of the paralysis. I was afraid to sleep again so I got out of bed and did household activities. A few nights later, I was awoken by the sounds of my sister walking out of the room and into the bathroom whenI heard a really loud high pitched sound. I didn't know where it was coming from so I listened around to try and pin point it's direction. It kept getting louder and louder until eventually I found myself unable to move. I'm not sure if I started hallucinating after that but I managed to get out of bed after a long struggle (It felt as though gravity was suddenly four times heavier). I tried turning on the light but the switch wouldn't work. I walked out of my room and into the kitchen and tried to turn on that light but that too wasn't working. I looked down the hallway and saw that the bathroom light was on. I couldn't understand why the light in my room and in the kitchen weren't working. I walked back into my room when it felt as though I had been knocked down. I found myself staring up at the ceiling when a hooded figure appeared before me. I wasn't scared, so I asked it a simple question, "Do you want to gain control of me?". The figure didn't respond but it went away after that. I got up and went back to bed. Later that night, I woke up a few hours after midnight and was about to fall back asleep when I heard that high pitched noise again. I tried covering my ears to block out the sound but it kept increasing in intensity. Out of nowhere I heard an electric guitar playing and then a piano. I shook myself free of the sounds but every time I tried to go back to sleep, I heard the high pitched noise. I spent well over an hour constantly waking myself up so I wouldn't hear that noise. I later walked into my brothers' room and borrowed his iPod and went to sleep listening to music (It drowned out the high pitched sound). This cycle of waking up and hearing that noise continued for a few weeks before finally stopping. About a month ago, I woke up one morning and heard the noise again. I laid awake for a few minutes then went back to sleep and didn't hear it again. I'm not sure when it started but I think it was back in February. The experiences stopped in April and just last June I almost experienced them again. Does anybody and I mean anybody know what could have caused it or why I was experiencing such things?

I am no doctor, but it really sounds as though you are experiencing sleep disturbances. All of your events seem to occur around nap time, or falling asleep, or wakening. I would see your doctor about this if they persist. You say you are a student, so it stands to reason you could be experiencing a lot of stress as well. Which, in turn often has an impact on one's sleep.

I do not think your experiences are paranormal in any way, shape or form. But I think you need to look to getting more sleep. Are you done with school for a time? If so, how are you sleeping now?

I started summer vacation June 6th. As for stress, I'm not sure. I wasn't actively doing homework or projects all last school year. I was so lazy laugh.gif Eh, last week I had a terrifying dream in which image after image of ETs kept popping up. When I awoke, every time I closed my eyes I would see these images...

I've had similar dreams where the ceiling was gone and I could see the night sky. The high pitch ringing might have something do with your neck muscles tensing while you fall asleep. I have that same issue sometimes.

Just for the heck of it try cleching your neck muscles right now, I'd be willing to be you hear that same high pitched noise. You may be having uncontrolled OBE's and not even know it, or you may just suffer from lack of paragraphs while posting a long story grin2.gif

Nope, if anything, it's probably what dogs hear when you blow a dog whislte laugh.gif And I'm not a writer so why should I use paragraphs? laugh.gif As for the OBEs, that's plausible.
