With the universal consensus seeminlgly being that george bush .....ahem (ill out it nicely) isnt the sharpest tool in the box and the fact that kerry actually did serve with your millitary in vietnam then is it a fore gone conlussion that john kerry will win the election?

...and bush should not get elected again. This "fight on terrorism," was based on weapons of mass destruction, ha ha ha. Of course they havent found any. Most people believe that its for the oil, but its also a territorial battle. Bush, firstly wants to finish what his daddy started, and he wants to expand the American "empire," similar to what the British did as they set up colonies across the world. It has also become apparent that Bush has business relations with the Bin Laden family. They were immediatly escorted out of the country on a private jet as the September 11 attacks occured. WTF is that. He is fighting terrorist, yet hes aiding Bin Ladens family, even with the possible involvement in the 9/11 attacks. Bush is corrupt. Get him out like the Hatian president!

The one order that I feel the strongest about is the EO that seals presidential records from the public for the next twenty years. The order is retroactive back to the Reagan era. I don't have the exact order number but will find it and PM it to you. It closes a lot of information that does not need to be sealed. But it also gives Clinton more protection than should be there.

EOs covering enemy combatants. These are treated as crimminals w/o legal representation, not POWs or crimminals. The reason is that they can be held without trial and legal rep. Please tell me if this is what our men and women are dieing for. Letting our legal system be thrown out for reasons no one seems to be able to answer.

Just wanted to respond to the guy that said earlier that Bush invaded to Iraq for oil:
America has no real need in Iraqi oil. Sure it would be nice to have another source for oil, but most of the oil that comes to the US is comming from Africa and south America (and soon Russia, which hold the second largest oil reserves in the world).
The ones that do depends on Arab oil is... Europe! So although the war in Iraq was not because of oil, the critisizm about it from European countries was. And as for France, that 75% of it's energy comes from nuclear reactors - their politicians are bribed by the fact that 10% of the French are Muslims (and more than 20% of citizens at the age of 18 are muslims too - so most of their young voters are muslims).

It wasnt just 10% of the french people who were against the war it was 75%. Not only the muslims in france were outraged by it.

I agree though the french politicians were tainted by iraqi oil. They were thouhg just looking out for their country's best interests.

In the end the people of france didnt want the war and their government didnt go simple as that.

Why was there such outrage in america about that?

I mean france is as sovereig a nation as any other country and its their sovereign right to object.
