Amazing speed of learning.
Memory of food cached surely defines an aspect of 'animal intelligence'.

The Raven is one of my Main Animal Spirit Totems and when I seek the Great Spirits council in my life’s directions of paths to fallow he sends to me the Animal totems, and they show me not that with I want to see, but that with I am to be shown, I have great Respect for Raven, Hawk, Eagle and all of the Great Spirits Creatures all are highly intelligent all animals know more than humans do…
It is as the same with the Raven as with us Humans, it is the Great Spirit within working that shows the way, it is just the Humans do not always see, hear or listen within... Ravens do...

hmm, i think Eric (Boo Ya) Raven is clever but i wouldn't put him up there with the gods...oh wait, wrong Raven...
Yeah, always cool reading about the Raven (aka as CHULYEN, HEMASKAS, GUGUYNI, NANKIL'SLAS, KWEKWAXA'WE, KWEKWAXAWE, TXAMSEM, WE-GYET, YHEL) in Nth American Indian Mythology (Famous Native American Creative Trickster God) along with the arch rival the Coyote.
Ravens are known as the "keeper of secrets" in several native tribes, and are the teachers of mysticism. They have been wrapped in a wealth of myth and lore throughout many cultures and ages. Their black color and diet of dead animals associates them with the vast void of darkness, which is representative of the unconscious. The raven is intelligent, cleaver and mystical.
Raven flies to us with heightened awareness and greater understanding of our consciousness.Animal Totem - Native AmericanThe Raven

well there are several world myths on how clever the raven is and most myths have a basis in some sort of fact. Though those facts are often distorted or forgotten.
