This is a story-in-progress I'm working on, as of July 21st, I have six chapters out of 50 completed. Lots of British Musical, and International Cultural, references. I'll upload a chapter per day, as I complete them. Give me your opinions.
It's okay to copy it to other sites, just don't take the characters? That sounds really futile...Ah well...
Story I'm working on- Part One of Five, 10 Chapters per part, enjoy:

J U D G E M E N T

Preface:

The Judges. An elite group of humans who have the ability to "pull" weapons, seemingly from thin air.

Tenatio. The weapons the Judges use alchemical process to "pull" from thin air.

Alchemical Process. Quite easy to learn. Any human can learn this.

Vincent Victors. Any human...Including a schoolboy mentored by a powerful Judge.

Naz'o Migoto. A powerful Judge mentoring somebody...

Vincent Victors. A young man thrust into the war between Judges...

The Shunned. The group the Judges battles- creatures beyond our Wildest Dreams.

Shuck. A town where many Shunned come and kill...Humans.

The Judges. The one group that can stop the Shunned.

Chapter I-

Take the world to a better place. Give them all just a little hope. Just think what a legacy..."truly is?"

Fall on your knees today...And Pray the World will mend it's ways. "It's never going to change...What are they talking about?..."
"I'm never going to leave a legacy...I just sit around...Praying for my world to fix itself...When I should be fixing it..."

"You gotta get off your ****, stop watching bloody anime, stop thinking about bloody Chou'Un, and get some bloody work done, cos if you don't Vince, you're gonna get left behind."

I can only go forward...

My name's Vincent Victors. I live in Britain. It's really boring in my city, Shuck. People call it the Devil's Village, but that's just in name. It's uneventful. Every once in a while a kid'll get busted for graffiti, or a break-in will happen, but other than that, nothing happens. Every day is exactly the same. But that one day...New Years...Was very eventful. It's the day I met the love of my life. I can describe it in song, actually. Now, this is the story, all about how, my life got flip-turned upside down. It'll only take a second, so sit right there, and I'll tell you how I became the Judge of a town called Shuck.

In West Shuck, born and raised, at school is where I spent most of my days.
Chillin' out, relaxin', maxin' all cool,
And playing Ikki Tousen on my PSP outside of school.

When a new girl started following me home to my neighborhood.
I turned around, ready for a fight and then I got scared,
and said I'm not movin in with my auntie and uncle in Bel-Air

I was whistling a song, and when she came near
Her eyes were closed and she had silver hair
If anything I could say this girl was rare,
but I thought, nah, forget it...yo, new girl, I wish I could go to Bel-Air

I...was...at my house about 3 or 4, I said to the girl,
Hey new girl...I'll see you later,
turned around, looked at my house, finally there, to sit on my throne,
as the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Of course, then I didn't know this girl was gonna change my life, or what a Judge even was...Well, I still don't. It's complicated. But I'll start from the beggining. I met this girl, who I later know as Naz'o Migoto. Then, I knew her as Melody Yasana. I loved her. And she changed my life.

Chapter II-

As you know, Melody(Naz'o) followed me home one day, randomly. I turned as I got to my doorstep. "Er...I live here." I told her. "I...I know that" She said, blushing. It was cute..."Well? See you" I bid her farewell, but she followed me in. "Melody? Are you ok?" I asked when she plopped on my couch. "Im fine." She said as she turned on the TV. She started channel flipping. I just stood there like, what was I supposed to do? A beautiful girl wants to be in my house. You just...go with the flow. Let the Flux take you. So, I sat down, and she asked, politely, "Can I live here?" It was like a bolt of lightning zapped me. "What?" "Yeah, my parents are...dead, that's why I moved to England. I'm from Japan, can't you tell?" She informed me. "er" Was all I could say. She wanted to...Live with me. We just met...And she wanted to LIVE with me. ME, weird, odd, Vincent. These are crazy, crazy nights. First exciting thing that happened to me. What should I have said? No would've helped me, but is all I could muster was a mumble. "Hmm?" She asked. "No-Nothing, lemme think about it" I said. I walked into my bedroom, and sat down on the bed. I sat there for an hour. Thoughts going through my head were:

What if she's psycho?
She looks like Chou'Un!
Damn...
Move IN!?
Her parents are dead...
Man, the law's really loose these days.
Wot the bloody hell am I doing? I should be saying YES
No...I should ask someone.
No, they'll probably mock me.
Ugh...

I must've fell asleep, because when I woke up, she was standing over me with an apron on, holding a dinner plate. "Well?" "Who-Oh...Yeah..." I said. "Sure." I agreed. Yeah, I agreed. I AGREED to let a strange girl move in. But she was hot, so it was ok? I walked to the guest room (next door to mine), "Here...Wait, where's your stuff?" I asked. I walked in "You just have you-" I stopped in mid-sentence because I was shocked. All her stuff was already unpacked. "Oh..."

What did I get myself into?!

Chapter III-

Quite a good thing, actually. I love her, already. She cooks, cleans, and she's nice. It's like having a wife...Without the sex, of course. AOC in England is 16...School's been ok for the most part, me and Melody talk to each other a lot, but it mostly wait's until home. I thought it'd be complicated living with her, but for the most part, she's been pretty cool. She goes off in the night most of the time though. Maybe she's a prostitute...That'd suck...And in a way, it'd be awes-Wait, what the hell am I saying? A good friend might be selling her body on the street! I gotta stop her. Can I fight her pimp daddy?...
Ha ha ha ha ha that sounded freaking stupid! Can I fight her Pimp daddy?! What the hell? Anyway...Tonight I planned to follow her...
I heard the shuffle of a drawer, heard clothes being pulled out, and heard the door open and close. I followed suit. She went down the street. I followed, of course. She wore her school uniform for some odd reason. She turned a corner and stopped. She half-turned her head and smiled. "Vince? You can come out now." WHAT?! Was the one word that went in my head. "This isn't Vince?" I said uncertainly, but I walked out of the shadows anyway. "How'd you know?" I asked. "Obvious. Why are you following me?" She asked intently, her eyes peering into mine (literally, her eyes were open, for once. aqua green) "Uh...I...was..." Scared. That's what I was. I thought I was going to lose her, as a friend, a room mate, and...a love. "I was following you...because I was scared for you." "Why?!" She asked. She was pissed...And I was going to walk away, she was being a b****...But I stood my ground. "BECAUSE! YOU ALWAYS VANISH IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BLOODY NIGHT WITHOUT TELLING ME, YOU COME HOME WITH YOUR CLOTHES TORN UP, YOU COME HOME WITH BRUISES, YOU SLEEP IN THE MIDDLE OF CLASS, I LOVE YOU, IM SCARED FOR YOU MELODY!" I yelled. I was pissed too, how could she do that to me? She leaves in the middle of the night, and comes back looking harmed. I LOVE HER! THAT'S IT! "Look, Melody, I love you. I'm sorry if you don't feel the same, it's true though. I can't change that, you can't change that, hell, GOD can't change that." I told her. By now, I was terrified. "V-in-cent...I do-don't know what to say..." She said. She walked over to me. Put her face close. I could smell her perfume, Flowery, I didn't like it, I prefer more industrial smells. These were the thoughts running through my mind. "Vincent, I don't know how to say this, but, I love you, but I'm in a situation where I can't do anything about it" "Boyf-" She put her finger on my lips "No, something that can harm you, worse than a Boyfriend. I don't want to hurt you." "STOP TREATING ME LIKE A KID MELODY! I LOVE YOU, AND I WILL DO ANYTHING TO BE WITH YOU!!" "Even sacrifice your life?" She said slyly. "Well, then I couldn't be with yo-STOP MESSING AROUND!" I screamed. God, I was making a lot of noise. "Let's go back home, and we'll discuss this." She took me by the hand. We went home.

"Now, WHY can't you be with me?! You love me, I love you, what's stopping us?! What is so powerful?" I asked. She was making tea as I sat down on the couch. "Something beyond any human dream. Something terrible." She brought the tea over. "What is it, Melody? Tell me, PLEASE!" Ugh...She wasn't telling me. "The Shunned." She said. "The Shunned?" I asked. "Beasts only the Judges can battle. Beasts...striving to control the world" "Melody, I love you, you know that by now, but are you on drugs?" I asked. "No, believe me, Vince. Im not. I can make you a Judge, but you must be trained, and you must see me do something" And I was like, AWESOME! I get to see her get undressed! But no, it was cooler, but not as sexier. It was kind of sexy, because our school has short *** skirts, and she bent over, but..."Sorry I had to write on your floor, ordinarily I'd draw it on my hand, but I was just on scout tonight." She drew an odd symbol. It was a circle with three circles inside of it, and in the innermost circle, a + sign. "This is an Alchemical circle. We pull weapons from here." "What?" "Er...Watch..." She turned, slapped her hand down on the circle, and pulled up slowly, A ****ING SCYTHE WAS IN HER HAND! It had "SHIRYUU" written on the blade. "HAHAHAH! YOU ARE CHOU'UN!" "Eh...What?" She asked. "You're Chou'Un! From Ikki Tousen. Chou'Un Shiryuu. She's like, my favorite character." "Hehehe. Oh! Cute." She said. "Anyway...The process we do that, is called Pulling. It's Alchemy basically." "Ohh." "Now, I want you to try, just do the same symbol I did, it's the same for all Judges." "Ok?" I said. "I'm tired though..." "Fine then, we'll continue in the morning." She said. "Um...It's morning now." I pointed out. "Oh ****...SCHOOL!" She shouted. "Yeah, luckily you're in your uniform already." I said, "Go ahead without me." "What? No, I lov-" "It's just School..." I said. "No biggie. I'll be right there." We commute to school from the bus stop up the street. My friends, Law and Genjo are usually on it too. Our uniforms are pretty stylish, they're like...it's hard to describe, so never mind. I'm not especially liked at school, but not especially hated. I don't do stuff to attract attention, Im quiet, in the long run. My friends and I eat lunch, we're not in any cliques, we're, like I said, quiet.

Chapter IV-

We finally got to school about 10 minutes late. Melody went off to her friends, and I to mine. The events of last night stuck in my head like glue..."I've fallen in Love..." I said out loud. "With who, mate?" Said a voice. I jumped and turned around. Law was standing there, eating a candy bar (Hershey's). "Your little wife?" He asked, cocking his head to the side...God that pisses me off. "Uh...No one. It's a new Bloc Party song..."You sure? Bloc Party's new album doesn-" "Whatever, Law..." Genjo walked over, looking happy, as usual "Hey genjo, what's going on?" "Nothing! I just met the girl of my dreams." Me and Law exchanged glances..."ugh..." I muttered. "What?" He asked "You meet a new girl everyday, Genj!" Law said. "Not everyday..." He said "Every week" I replied. The bell rang, It was time to go to classes. I had maths first. Maths= Sadness. I'm not with Melody, my teacher is bat****-insane, and I SUCK at maths. School went over with no difficulty. At least it was Friday today....That means 48 free hours with Melody and doing anything we want. But I still had to work. I work 2 hours a day at a fast food restraunt. It's not much, but it gets me money, and I need money. Work, was boring as usual, I did get dinner for me and Melody though...When I got home, Melody was sitting at the table, talking to a man. I didn't think she was cheating on me, cos she knew I was gonna be home at the same time, so I immediatley presumed: a friend. I was right...in a way.

"Hey Melody, who's this?" I asked as I walked into the house. "The name's Bryce, Vinnie, why don't you have a seat." The guy, whos name is Bryce (how'd I figure that out? I'll never tell...), said, as he pointed at the chair next to Melody's. "You told him?" Bryce asked her. "Ye-yes..." Melody said, averting her gaze from his. "Melody, is there...a problem?" I asked. "Hey, I'll ask the questions, mate!" Bryce said, snapping his fingers. "MATE?! I DONT ****ING KNOW YOU!" I screamed. "Hey, hey, hey. Fine, I'll introduce myself. My name is Bryce Blair. My codename is Steel. I go under it when working for the Syndicate." He said, cooly. "Syndicate?" I asked. "The...Syndicate is the group name the Judges go under as a whole..." Melody said. "Um...I've been lying to you, Vincent." She said, tears streaming down her beautiful, closed eyes. She opened them. The aqua green was so pretty in the light, I realized, at that moment...I love her..."I'm Seventeen years old, and my real name is Nazo Migoto." She said. "What? Why'd you lie?" I said, calmly. "She had to, for her job. She was to pick you up, bring you to the London HQ, and there, you were to leave her, and become a Judge." Bryce said, leaning back. "WHAT?!" We both said in unison, apparently she didn't know either. "I WILL NEVER LEAVE MELO-NAZ'O!" I yelled. "Geez...You guys are in love, ain't ya?" Bryce said. His eye staring into mine. "Naz'O was the one woman I love with my heart. Not my brain." I said. "Vincent...Victors..." Bryce told me, "I'm getting irritated now..." "Yeah, well, so am I! I want you to leave, and never return!" I pointed at the door. The man started crying. Literally, crying. "Vincent....You think I like breaking up couples? This happened to me twice already...Once to me, and the other to my best friend." He said. "Bryce..." Naz'O said. "It's okay...I'll...see if I can pull some strings. This kid's great. He really loves you Naz'o. Cherish him like you do your life." Bryce said, in between sobs. I felt like hugging him, but I couldn't do that. "Vince...I want you to do a Pull for me." Bryce said. "And try, with all of your heart, if you have results, Naz'O will stay, and you two will be in charge of the city of Shuck." He explained. "I will...I'll Pull a weapon, from thin air. I VOW IT, NAZ'O!" I said.

Chapter V-

I drew the circles. Three all around each other, a cross in the middle. Chou'Un, help me...Naz'O, help me...Bryce, help me...Law, help me...Genj, help me...EVERYONE! HELP ME!
I slapped my hand down, envisioned a zweihander, with all my might, Pulled up a weapon. A flash of light occured. I was in pure white. It was odd, because I heard somebody say:

"You are a destroyer, and a creator of a revolution. You must go, no matter what, forward, Vincent Alexander Victors. Go forward, recieve your destiny."

When I opened my eyes, I had a large sword in my hand. It had the word KOUMEI written on the blade. "I DID IT?!" I shouted happily. "I knew you could Vince!" Naz'O said, as she gave me a kiss. Bryce was being oddly quiet. "Did you see it." He said. It wasnt a question, it sounded like a statement. "...Yeah, I saw something. What was it?" "What did it say?" So I told him what it said, and he got a weird look on his face.

"You, are a destroyer type." Bryce said. "You, are the main warrior of our group." "The Syndicate?" I asked. "No, the Fatum Iodex. The Judges of Destiny." "Judge of...Destiny?" I asked. "Yes, Vincent." Bryce said. His eye staring into mine. "It is your job to lead the Judges against the Shunned. You, are pretty much with me and Naz'O." "I'm a Judge of Destiny?..." I said, not believing him at all. "Yep, pretty much." He said. "I gotta get back to the Headquarters, and report these, mate. I'll definitely be Seeing you soon." Bryce said as he walked to the door. "Take me with you." I asked. "To London?" Bryce said. "yes, to London." "I can't, kid. See you soon." He said, leaving the door. I stood at the doorway for a while, watching him walk up the street, dissapearing into the train station up the street. My new life has begun.

I awoke Saturday night, with Naz'o. We were to do my first Scouting of Shuck. She was afraid I was going to die, but I told her I wanted to be with her. It's been a year since she moved in, a day since I became a Judge. She helped me out, with life, with love, with everything. I need her to live. I want to be by her side always. Maybe that's conceited...She does have friends, she has guy friends too. I'm not jealous, but still...She helped me. When she came, I was contemplating suicide. I was gonna hang myself, and forget all my problems. She taught me, that though your parents are gone, you can be happy. We taught each other. And now, I get to help her at work. Where was I...Oh yeah, the scouting. It was our job to look and see, if any Shunned were in the town. The first place to inspect was the Train Station.

We entered the Train Station through the back employees entrance, and went through the changing rooms, busting open lockers. Why? I don't know...She just told me too. I had Koumei at hand when I heard it. Naz'o screamed "VINCE!" I ran to the lobby, smacking my leg on the changing bench "MOTHER ****ING OW?!" I yelled, as I half-ran, half-hopped to the lobby, I looked down, and saw my leg was soaking in blood. HOW THE HELL IS THAT POSSIBLE? I JUST HIT MY LEG! Was the thought going through my head. The other was NAZ'O! Our train station has two floors, Floor One is the one where people wait for the trains, etc. Floor Two is like, the town mall. You get to it by going up an elevator, and only an elevator. It was night, and they shut off the power to the elevators. Guess what floor I was on? TWO! So, at least I got to get a birds-eye view of my loved ones death. She was fighting something that looked like a rat...except, it was about 100 times bigger. It was freaking HUGE! Like...as big as the train that goes through those tracks. How it didn't bust up the entire station is beyond me, but I did an extremely stupid thing. I jumped off the balcony onto the rat. It was a kamikaze attack. The Final. My life flashed before my eyes as I landed on it's warm, hairy body. I heard Clever Sleazoid by Dir en Grey playing in the background. Then I remembered...I put my mp3 player on when we went our seperate ways to check out the station. So, as I was screaming, I heard "UNDER THE NAME OF JUSTICE, YOU CAN'T BREAK MY SOUL". I guess that'd be my "main theme" in life...I pulled Koumei out of it's flesh, screamed "NOW!", as Naz'o leapt and sliced for it's head. Swing and a MISS. It was getting intense. Luckily I trained for this stuff. I slid down it's head, and gouged it's eyes. One eye with Koumei, and another with my finger. "NAZ'O! IT'S BLIND NOW, RUN!" I screamed as I parried a blow from one of it's 4 foot long fangs. "I can't leave you, Vincent!" She screamed as she ran forward, "NO!" I screamed, and grabbed her by the sleeve. "STAY BACK!" I yelled as I leaped forward, and sliced it's nose. I was planning to find a way under, but that plan was ruined, by the fact that I already killed it. It shuddered, and fell to the ground, decomposing instantly. "What?" I said. "The Shunned decompose instantly for some reason..." Naz'o Said. "Now that you mention it, in Norwich, people say there's a giant rat that haunts the train station." I mentioned. "Yes, that wouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility. The Shunned like places with lots of people, so they can feed easily." She explained. Her silver hair glittered in the moonlight. That's a weird anomaly, silver hair. She's not albino, either, that's the weirdest part. "Really?" I asked. "So there may be some at my school?" "No, we're done tonight. We should go home and get some rest. Tomorrow is Sunday." She said. "Also, you're bleeding." She acknowleged, pointing at my reddened leg. "Oh...Yeah..." I said. When we got home, I looked at the wound. It was the weirdest thing. It was in the shape of a sword. A sword. And it was bleeding all over my couch. Naz'o got some towels and put them under my leg. "Thanks" I said. "Mm-hm" She said, as she wrapped my leg in a bandage. "Why is is shaped like a sword?" I asked. I didn't think she'd know, but..."It's cos you were in the prescence of a Shunned One when you hit your knee. They tend make wounds much larger than they should be" She explained. "Oh...Well, I'm tired. I wanna sleep all day tomorrow, so, good night, and thanks for the bandages." I said, as I limped to the room. Five minutes later, I heard the door open, and someone slid under the covers with me. "Good night, Vincent Victors." A certain someone said, as a certain someone kissed me, and fell asleep. My life was perfect...

Chapter VI-

Sunday...The day before school starts. But it was going to be the last day of school on Wednesday, so I had that to look forward to. Wow...If Naz'o lived a normal life, she'd be going to prom this year. When she came into my room last night, I was so happy. I got to sleep in the same bed as her. That was the ultimate confession of love. I love her so much...And I hope she loves me equally. Anyway: I couldn't hang out with Law cos he had Sunday school (poor b******), Genj was out with 'the girl of his dreams' this week, Naz'o was going to Essex with her friends today (I was heartbroken), and Bryce...I hadn't seen Bryce for a while. So, I decided to wander around by myself. Just after an hour of practice.

When I was done swinging Koumei around like a fairy-boy, I decided to head to Laws school to wait for him. It gets out at 9 at night, and he wanted to stay over tonight, so I thought, 'why not?', Naz'o wasn't due home for another couple hours, and I was alone. The walk there was pretty uneventful, I saw a cat, who followed me for a little while. I passed the river, to the church on the other side. I sat on the steps for about 15 minutes, playing Eloquent Fist. The bell rang, people left, Law came out, wearing casual clothes, and munching on a candy bar, as usual. "You ready...?" I asked. "Yep, gimme a sec though, I gotta get my stuff from my locker." He told me. "Vincent!" I heard that lovely, beautiful voice yell. "Hey, Naz'o." I said. "Wait- Law's not going in the-there, is he?" She said in between breaths- she ran here. "Yeah...So?" I said as I watched Law enter the chruch's side entrance. "Vincent...Listen to me...I heard...from Bryce, there's a lot...of Shunned...activity there!" She said. "WHAT?!" I screamed, as I ran to the door. "LAW!" "Wait, Vince, it's a level 3 Shunned, Bryce says. We need someone to help us." She explained. "NO, he's my friend, I have to help him!" I yelled over my shoulder as I ran into the church.

I raced down the corridors, passing Jesus, Mary, the apostles, everyone. Lawrence O'Macafee was the only person on my mind. I would not let a friend die. I burst through the Sunday School classroom. "Hehehe...Trapped in the web, show you the gates of tomorrow..." I heard a snickering voice come wafting through the floorboards, when a humoungous spider jumped out of the ground. I fell back, landing on a large cross in the process. I quickly drew the Symbol (luckily I carry around a marker), and pulled Koumei. "Really? The only thing you're going to show me is your insides!" I screamed as I slashed one of it's eyes. I saw Law running towards me, down the hallway. "Vince?!" He yelled. "GET OUT OF HERE!" I yelled back, as I parried a blow from one of it's legs. "...THE ONLY ENTRANCE IS THAT WAY!" GOD DAMN IT! I thought...I saw Law run, and punch the Shunned. "You IDIOT!" I yelled, as he got knocked across the room by it. That's when it happened. I saw a flash of light, like when you Pull, and I saw a cross emerge from the floor next to Law. It had MERCY scrawled on the tip. It was a stylized cross, with a hilt, and three blades protuding from the arms. I heard footsteps as Naz'o came running in. She had Shiryuu in her hand, "Naz'o...Law...Let's take this b****** out!" I yelled as I ran to stab it. We all cut it at the same time. It decomposed. We won.

"Phew! Law, how come you didn't tell us you knew how to Pull?" I asked. "Pull? I just prayed for a way to defend myself." He explained, looking confused. Naz'o whispered to me, "He's a Sime [Authors Note: Sime=Simulatneous] user, but he believes it to be a higher power. We shouldn't te-" "Hey, so he's a Sime?" I asked loudly. "Wot's a sime?" He asked. So Naz'o had no choice but tell him. She explained everything on the walk home. "WHAT?" He exclaimed. "I DON'T BELIEVE YOU" "Law, it's true. You are a Judge. I don't know how, I don't know why, but you are. Accept it, mate." I said. "Vince, you're being cold." Naz'o said as I heard a knock at the door. "No I'm not," I said, walking to the door, "He has to understand this." Bryce was standing at the door. "Yo." He said, waving his hand. "Bryce?" Naz'o asked, standing up, knocking over the tea.

Chapter VII-

Cid, of Final Fantasy Seven, once said "Sit your a** down and drink your goddamn tea." That's what I would never say to her, out loud, but it irked me when she knocked it over. She shouldn't act shocked Bryce is here.

"Oh shoot..." She said, as she went to get a towel to clean it. "Who is Bryce?" Law asked. "I am, Lawrence." He said, waving his hand again. "I don't know you" Law said. "No, but it's my business to know people." Bryce retorted. "Ugh..." I said, putting my face in my right hand. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "Nothing, I was in the neighborhood, thought I'd visit the family...What do you think? I'm doing my job." He said, sitting down at the kitchen table, next to Law. Bryce pulled out a piece of paper, in a scroll. "Lawrence Johnathan O'Macafee. You have performed a Pull, henceforth, you are a Judge. It is your job to exterminate the group of evil creatures known as the Shunned." Law opened his mouth, but the man kept going on, "These are creatures that are attempting to take over the world. You must join us, and destroy the Shunned." He finished. Law just sat there, his mouth open. "Ah...Ah..." The boy was in shock. Am I weird cos I wasn't? I needed some time to think, everything was moving to fast. "Lawrence, it will be your first job to aid me, Naz'o, who I believe you know as Melody, and Vincent in exterminating a level Five Shunned." He said. "LEVEL FIVE?!" Naz'o said, jumping up again. "the tea...." I said, as I caught it before it fell. "Bryce, he's a Level One Judge! That's impossible!" She screamed. I thought she was gonna slap him. He got that hurt look, the same he did when I first met him. "Vincent is at least a Level Three! LAWRENCE CAN'T DO IT!" Tears were streaming down. She took human life seriously. Maybe I should do the same...Bryce looked depressingly at her "Can't be helped, Naz'o" I noticed Law was still in shock. "Law, you gonna be okay?" I asked him. "Yeah..." I didn't wanna this one, but I had to..."Bryce, wanna stay the night? You gotta sleep on the couch, though" Bryce looked at me, "Sure, thanks" Law walked to the guest room. He turned "Wait, where's Naz'o gon-oh" "Yeah..." I said, happily. Me and Naz'o went to sleep, all was well.

When I awoke, it was 5 A.M. unusual, cos I'm late to rise. I decided to go for a walk. I put on my MP3 player, and walked around the city...I was listening to Iron Maiden- The Legacy. Such an eerie, beautiful song.

Tell you a thing
That you ought to know
Two minutes of your time
Then on you go
My life is odd...I fall in love with a girl. I battle a giant rat. I see my friend almost get killed by a giant spider. What if this is all a hallucination? What if I'm schizo?! That'd be something...Maybe I should go to the doctor...
When I arrived home, after walking from the countryside, I could smell Naz'os delicious food. She always makes something foreign. We're having churros again, though, it seems. When I walked in, Bryce was still asleep, and Law was standing up, watching the news. I kicked Bryce off the couch. "Ow, mate...Why'd ya do t'at?" He said. "Cos you were blocking Law and me." I said. We ate, quietly. I decided to skip work for a few days, I have like...Over 9000 hours of paid vacation. I always worked holidays...
When we finished eating, Naz'o and Law went to get dressed, and shower leaving me and Bryce alone. "Bryce, why do you do your job if you hate it so much?" I asked. "I do it cos I have to" He said. "Simple as that?" "Well...No, I do it for you, Judges. I'm one, you're one, we're brothers. Me and Naz'o are brothers, me and Law are brothers. Blood Brothers..." He said, delicatley. "Oh...Since you put it that way..." I muttered. They finished showering, finally. Law probably got impatient waiting for Naz'o...
"So, the mission is to exterminate a Level Five, also called Purgatory Level, Shunned. It's in the shape of a medival knight." "Naz'o, can you explain the levels to me?" I asked.
"Sure...Simple: Level One is the Normal level. Most of the Shunned we meet are Lvl 1. Level Two is called the Demonic Level. Harder to beat than a level one? Yes. Level Three, has no name. Level Four is called the Ultimate Level, cos that's the level when they grow to Level Five quicker. Level Five is called the Purgatory Level, and are the hardest to beat. There IS another level...The X Level. Impossible to beat by an ordinary Judges. They are called the Tiger Level. There are only five X Levels, though, thank god." She quickly explained. "Ohh. The Rat was Level Four, the Spider was Level Two, and we're gonna fight a Level Five." I said. "...Ah...Yeah..." Naz'o said. I took her hand. "Don't be afraid. I love you." I said, and kissed her. "Ahh, cut the sappy lovey-dovey ****, and let's roll, mate." Bryce said. "Everyone Pull!" Naz'o said. "Uhh..." Law muttered. "Oh yeah..." She drew the circle. "Imagine your weapon, and Pull it." She said. "Simes are better than Destroyers or Stealths." Bryce explained. "They can Pull anytime, with practice." When we were all Pulled, Bryce explained where the Shunned was. "In the countryside, an abandoned apartment complex" "ALL RIGHT! WE'RE GOING URBAN EXPLORING!" I shouted. "Uhh..." Everyone got that look they get when they think you're stupid, "What?"
When we got there, after a 30 minute hike, "Genj woulda hated this, eh, Law?" "Yay" We both laughed. Genjo says yeah like 'yay' in Instant Message conversations. We found our target after about 10 Minutes. It was a huge knight, about 10 feet high. The apartment buildings blocked it. "There he is" Bryce whispered. "I'll go in first." I said "NO!" Naz'o hissed, "You can't!" "I have to!" I hissed back. I ran, and swung for it's head. It blocked me in mid-air. I was sitting there, holding myself up, thanks to upper body strength. Sparks were flying every direction, thanks to the heavy pressure I was exerting. "NOW!" I screamed. They all came running at him, Naz'o did a jump attack, while Bryce stabbed for the eyes. The Shunned blocked his attack, and smacked Bryce out of the air. Where the hell is Law?! I saw him, in a building, holding the cross above him. I ran into the apartment "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" I screamed. "ATTACK HIM!" Law ran out, and slashed the Shunneds leg. The beast fell to the ground. I noticed Steel wasn't moving. "Steel?" I asked as I ran to him. "Ugh...Vincent...Victors? Take care of Naz'o and...La-" He stopped breathing. "Bryce?..." I asked. Everybody was battling...I couldn't get help. "WHAT DO I DO!?!?" I screamed to the sky. I saw Naz'o get attacked by it. A rage not like anything I ever experienced was building inside of me. You...You kill my friend...You hurt my one true love...You are evil..."I WILL KILL YOU!" I screamed, then, Koumei started shining, and an odd material swirled around it. Ignoring it, I ran, screaming, at the Shunned. I sliced him, straight down the center. Not perfectly of course, but close to it. "You...you b******!" I yelled, still attacking it. It decomposed, I kicked the ashes. "Vincent! What's the matter?!" Naz'o asked. "Bryce...Is dead!" I looked at her, tears in my eyes. "Wha..." She said. "Impossible." "Go! LOOK!" I yelled. "That won't help, Vincent." A voice I never heard in my life said. It was soothing...I turned, and saw a man with a tan. Medium length blond hair, and a tan. "Who are you?!" I asked, pointing my blade at him. "Steven, the leader of the judges. Nice to meet you." He said, extending his hand. I shook it. "Bryce...is dead..." He said, with a reserved sound. "Yes" "He was my best friend, I trusted him with my life." Tears were in his eyes. "Hm, guess it's funny...I thought we'd live forever, like we were immortal...Ahh, black humour. Finding joy in the saddest moments." Law walked over. "That was beautiful." He said, "My name is Lawrence O'Macafee." "Ah, the new boy." He said, taking his hand, proudly shaking it. "You're gonna be helpful." He said. "Simes tend to be useful." Naz'o walked over, carrying his body. "...It's true." She said to Steven. "Bryce "Steel" Thomas Blair, is dead." Naz'o had tears streaming down her face. Everybody seems to be crying nowadays..."Well...Let's have a memorial. I'll drive you kids to the place Bryce wished to be buried. Not that far from here, incidentally." He flicked open a cell-phone, pushed a button, "Hello, it's Steven. Number 0029 is dead, I have 0111, 6694 and 7002 with me. We need a memorial group, bring all of 0029s friends, allies and family. Alright, we'll rendevous at location number 0029." He flicked it shut. "Let's go."

Chapter VIII-
We made it to 'Location Number 0029' about an hour and a half later, chairs, a gravestone, and a podium were already set up. We put the body in a coffin, after dressing him in a suit and tie, per the tradition. The funeral was quite emotional. We all cried at least once. I went up to the podium, bravely.
"Hello, Bryce Blair, who I knew as Steel, was the one who changed my life. He holds a place in my heart, that no other man will. He gave me eternal pain, and eternal happiness. I loved him, and I hated him. I remember when I kicked him off the sofa, I remember when he cried, cos he was going to break up me and Naz'o Migoto, for his job. He was loyal, brave, strong. I didn't know him as well as his mother, his best friend, or his girlfriend, but I knew him well enough. We, in a way, knew each other for all our lives. He is me, and I am him. Bryce Blair, was the strongest, most loyal, and bravest man I met in my life, and now...He will, be missed."
I was choked up, I won't deny it. But that's the truth. Steven patted me on the back, Naz'o kissed me, Law patted me on the shoulder, his mother hugged me, crying. Tears were flowing. "Vince? You know what day it is, right?" "Yeah, February Fourte-Valentine's Day." I said, as I held her. "I miss the normal days..." "Never gonna happen until we beat the Shunned." Steven said, as he walked over. "C'mon..." Steven had acquired a certain hardness, over the past hour. Naz'o patted my arm, "Those were very nice things you said about Bryce." "Yeah..." Law said, walking over, sitting in the passenger seat of the car. "I agree, Vincent, you are a good man." Steven said, backing out. "What do we do now?" I asked. "You? You are to do whatever you want. Exterminate the Shunned, go to school, whatever..." Steven replied, driving forward. To new begginings, and false endings. "Hey...Does anyone feel that this is the end?" I asked. "Now that you mention it..." Law said, looking out the window. "It's not, Vince," Naz'o said. "It's Only the Beggining." Said Steven, at the same time as Naz'o. Everyone laughed. Except me. I thought Is it really over? I wish I could control time...I'd sacrifice myself to save Bryce....
We pulled up to my house around 3. Law got out first, and headed home. Naz'o was next. I remained in the car. "Uh...Vince, you can go now..." Steven said. "Do you...blame me for Bryce' death?!" I asked. He turned around and whacked me upside the head. "NO! I WILL NEVER BLAME YOU FOR THAT! IT COULDN'T BE HELPED!" He yelled. I got out of the car. Turned around, and said "Thank You...For all that you did to help me." In a way, he helped me find true love, along with Bryce.

Chapter IX-
Naz'o was in bed, I decided to stay out and contemplate. Bryce is dead, Steven hit me because I blame myself for his death. So much has happened in the past month. It started on the New Year, when will it end? I don't know...That's the problem...I don't know.
I awoke the next day, next to Naz'o. "good morning..." I muttered. I feel so old when I wake up next to a girl. "Good Morning..." She muttered back. "What are your plans? I was thinking we could head to London today with Law...Just for fun, his parents are out for the day." "Sure...I could use a break." "Okay..." I muttered, as I got up. "Hahahahahahahaha!" I laughed "What?" She asked. I pulled a red shirt from the dresser "Nothing...I was just thinking about Iron Maiden...Dying Swans, Twisted Wings." "Oh..." She said, reserved, as she got a black shirt from her dresser, and blue-jeans. I went to the kitchen to call Law. I dialed his number, and he picked up "Yeah?" "Wanna come to London with us?" "Sure?" "Cool, so we'll meet you at the train station around 10?" I checked the clock. It was 9:01. We went to the Train Station to get some food and wait. I ordered the breakfast special (cheese-eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns), and Naz'o ordered some tea. We waited for an hour, and when Law got there, we went on a train to London.
Nothing especially exciting happened in London. We climbed Big Ben and stood on the edge, near the clock-tower. It was pretty wild. There, Law took out three candy bars. "This is where our new lives begin, and where we leave our old lives behind." I said, discarding my wrapper to the wind. Naz'o and Law did the same. When we finished, I said, "Let's go..." We ate at McDonalds, and went on the train home around two. What else can I say?

Chapter X [final]-
All in all? I believe it was a chaotic two months. We battled monsters beyond our wildest dreams, discovered love, found a little bit about ourselves. I train with Koumei every once in a while, same for Naz'o and Shiryuu. I love her, and nothing will change that. Every once in a while, a Shunned will attack, but otherwise, it's been boring, same old, same old. But...
I can only go forward...

Finished....Finally.
Tell me what you think, where I need improvement, and I'll be sure to add it to the next one. Series two should start tomorrow.
Paville
That was /by far the deepest thing I have read on UM. The poem at the beginning was genius, the construction of the setting was genius, this surpasses anything I have ever seen on this site. Bravo!

The poem was a joke, but thank you? This took me 3 days to complete, by the way, if anyone is interested in how I got the ideas, I'll be happy to answer (I'm interested in where writers get ideas for story, myself). Also, don't indirectly make fun of others, I appreciate the compliment, but some of the poems here really get me thinking.
