Hey Everyone,

Suddenly this am my monitor isn't right. The pictures are not crisp. The whole
screen is sort of translucent and not well defined. This is a Samsung SyncMaster
753DF and is almost 2 years old.

Any ideas what the prob could be? Thanks.

This is usually caused by:

a. poor quality signal cable
b. dryied up decoupling capicators in rgb amplifier/preamplifier
c. not wide enought band of rgb amplifier

Does it seem like your looking through a veil?

If so;
Reprogram the eeprom,right or use adjustment for Samsung ; Softjig 2.0 then choose model ; init and write to eeprom.

Failing that

a. degauss, adjust colour temp., moire etc.
b. check cable
c. change resolution / refresh
d. check graphics card setting
e. I doubt a 2 year old monitor would experience this but prolonged use can cause the screen image to "burn" to the monitor making it appear out of focus.
