Kryso , It's much better than the movie . I had read the book before seeing the film and was terribly disapointed .
The movie dosen't even cover half the horror that the book creates.

I just finished reading
The Taking by Dean Koontz.
Not bad. It started out really creepy but kinda let up a bit as it went on. Worth the read though.
I am now reading
Prey by Michael Crichton.
Pretty good. A little slow, but suspenseful. I've never read a Michael Crichton book before, he researches the technology present it the book very well.

reading?

what is this "reading" you speak of?
naaw

hehe

i read
right now im reading "all the presidents men" for journalism

i thought it would be boring and factual, like a history text book, since its about the watergate scandal. but its very very good
but im waiting for a book to come out called..."ma yans diary, stories from a chinese school girl" its about this extremely poor chinese girl who loves to write. sometimes she would go w/o food for days just to buy a new pencil. its in a diary format. i read an excerpt in a london paper over vacation, but i havent been able to find it in the states

a local book store says its not due out till may of 05. i cant wait that long

Watership Down- I have never read a more emotional book. It may not seem much with "fuzzy bunnies", but there's a lot of fighting, and the movie is pretty gory. When I read the end, I was crying a bit, because it's so sad. I got really attached to the characters, especially Bigwig...

I just finished reading
A Faint Cold Fear by Karin Slaughter
It's the third book in the 'Grant County' series.
Sara Linton, medical examiner in the small town of Heartsdale, GA, is called out to an apparent suicide on the local college campus. The mutilated body provides little in the way of clues -- and the college authorities are eager to avoid a scandal -- but for Sara and police chief Jeffrey Tolliver, things don't add up.
Two more suspicious suicides follow, and a young woman is brutally attacked. For Sara, the violence strikes far too close to home. And as Jeffrey pursues the sadistic killer, he discovers that ex-police detective Lena Adams, now a security guard on campus, may be in possession of crucial information. But, bruised and angered by her expulsion from the force, Lena seems to be barely capable of protecting herself, let alone saving the next victim.I am now reading
Indelible : A Novel by Karin Slaughter
Fourth book in the 'Grant County' series.
In Karin Slaughter's exciting new thriller, an officer is shot point-blank in the Grant County police station and police chief Jeffrey Tolliver is wounded, setting off a terrifying hostage situation with medical examiner Sara Linton at the center. Working outside the station, Lena Adams, newly reinstated to the force, and Frank Wallace, Jeffrey's second in command, must try to piece together who the shooter is and how to rescue their friends before Jeffrey dies. For the sins of the past have caught up with Sara and Jeffrey -- with a vengeance ...

I just finsihed reading
Soul Tracker by Bill Myers.
David Kauffman is a man consumed by grief. His lovely teenage daughter, Emily, has recently committed suicide, or so it seems, until Kauffman finds himself looking into her remarkable violet-blue eyes—in the face of another person. His obsession to discover what really happened to Emily will literally take him to hell and back. David finds an unlikely ally in Dr. Gita Patekar, a thanatologist from Nepal (she studies death and dying). She's employed by the Life After Life program, which claims to be running a series of studies designed to scientifically track the soul after death. Yet something malevolent lurks beneath the surface since, paradoxically, the search for longevity leads to a loss of respect for human life. As David learns that his obsessive love can obliterate his need for personal faith, Gita discovers her need to learn to love, defying her hyperdependence on logic.
