Yeah, it's pretty interesting and brings up some pretty interesting thoughts, like the kalam argument.

I'm doing great

. Well, school has gotten monstrously busy and my friends are being pretty angsty lately(there's been a lot of hugs and comforting as of late, heh) but it's my birthday and, really, they all rock so it's pretty darned good overall.
Still haven't got a copy

. It appears to be a very popular book, plus I've been a tad bit busy. Each time I go to the library I check for it and it still hasn't been there...
And it seems that Angels and Demons is due back at my brother's school's library and he has to write lines if he takes it back llate so I'll have to get it out another time and finish it later :S
Great to hear from you Kis, you've been fairly quiet for a while. I'll PM you instead of being a schmuck and chatting on the forum, heh.

I've just started Eats, Shoots and Leaves by Lynne Truss. It is brilliant. It's bascily a non-fiction book explaining how to properly use punctuation but it is a very entertaining read and Truss has a good sense of humour.
Also, it turns out I'm a bit of a stickler for punctuation. Examples of bad punctuation such as "I'ts a party!" had me gasping...

haha.
It's a really enjoyable read and I'd defiatnely recommend it

Book Two of Sir David Attenboroughs award winning trilogy 'Life on Earth'.
The first delt entirely with the evolution of life on the planet, starting from the first forms of life to todays and talking about everything we know about all the life past and present, from what the first life ate to what trees do to reproduce to how we can retrace the steps of todays organisms back hundreds of millions of years to the roots.
The second, what i'm reading now, is entitled 'The Living Planet' and deals with all life today on earth in several chapters based on the environments, from the Tundras to Forests to Jungles to Deserts to Deep sea and urban centers.
Marvelous books.

theres 2 movies? i thought there was only 1. o well. i plan on seeing the first one, hopefully soon. i enjoy blood and gore very much. if you wanna see a REALLY gory movie tho, then see Flesh for the Beast, which is also a manga, but that is based on the movie, which is a live action movie. i have read a little of the book. its split into separate stories, and its quite weird, but all of the stories are basically about the setting of the movie, except for the first story which is like a promo for the movie. its strange, but very interesting.

I saw at the beginning that Naveed was reading "I Am Legend" -fantastic! one of my favorite stories of all time, especially at the end:
*SPOILER* I loved how at the end of the story I felt sorry for the vampires not the human!
For those who like or think they like those kinds of stories I recommend "Childhoods End" by Aurthur C Clarke. Its pretty short, and a little bizarre but good none the less.
The last book I finished was "The Forest House" by Marion Zimmer Bradley. It's the prequel to "The Lady of Avalon" and "The Mists of Avalon", of which I have read neither. Even if you are like me and you haven't read the other stories this is still a good stand-alone story, I even cried a little at the end!

These are the books that I have read recently:
A couple of months ago I finished
New Spring, from the Wheel of Time series. Starts off slow, but goes hella crazy after the half way mark. Shades of his earliest books coming to the fore - let's hope he continues in this vein for Book 10.
Rating

Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Sorry, I know I'm going to stir some pots here, but I didn't like it. Great story. Great plots. Great characters. Mundane writing. I found the language very basic and unengaging.
Rating
The Bible
Classic all the way - but I'm biased.
Rating

Sword of Shannara
Typical fantasy novel - kid from small town saves the world with a magic artefact. Well written though, with a few surprises thrown in for good measure. Worthwhile to pass the time with, but not the greatest of all time. First in the Shannara series.
Rating

Zombie Bums from Uranus
What can I say. All the trappings of an instant hit. Zombies. Bums. Uranus.
Rating

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Read all the HP books (again). Try as i might, it's impossible to separate these books. Philosopher's stone and chamber of secrets are more family oriented, Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix are darker, and Prisoner of Azkaban, whether it meant to or not is the missing link that breaks the two styles. Brilliant.
Rating 5/5 - the messageboard won't let me put any more smieys in than I already have, so we'll just have to do the review the old fashioned way. Numbers tell the story just as well
