I have had several experiences of this nature, so I will only explain the most recent one.
I recently saw the film 'Unbreakable' after being recommended it by my brother in law.
When I saw him next, I began to talk to him about it and he proclaimed to have never seen it. I thought this was strange as he had recommended it to me.
I remember him telling me all about it (he is australian - I remember the accent) I remember exactly where we were when he told me, and yet he denies ever having seen the film (even when I described it to him).
This has happened numerous times in my life and I'm starting to think I might be going mad.
How can I have very real memories, which I can recall in detail, that are false?
Anybody else get the same thing?

mowo, I don't think your going mad, well maybe just a little. whistling2.gif

What I think your experiencing is called a dream memory.

Basiclly works like this. You have a event in your life such as a dinner conversation, that night when you go to bed you sleep and replay the conversation in your dreams. Only you add or subtract other things that you heard or saw. When you wake, you may not remember dreaming about these things, but what was said and done are very real. As if you were wide awake at the time.

My question is did you have knowledge of the film prior to your Brother-in-law mentioning it to you?

Is there a possibility he is messing with you. Playing with your brain so to speak.
