Ripley's Believe it or Not!

I remember getting a book a long time ago full of all those cartoons you saw in the newpaper and thought it was really neat.I watched the TV show when it was hosted by Jack Palance years ago but I've only seen the newer one a few times.

Have you ever been to the museum?

Ditto here also. thumbsup.gif It was over 13 years ago for me, wonder if its still around? Never got a chance to go back a couple years ago when I returned, too much golfing to get in and no time for sight seeing. I did collect all the books when I was much younger, their in storage around here somewhere, they fascinated me. Funny, don't really like the TV show. tongue.gif

Magikman, I went the weekend before hurricane Hugo hit the coast. Never did go back to find out if the building survived.

Just did a quick search on google, yep, it's still around and it looks like it got a bit of a face lift, I don't remember it looking exactly that way ( but then the old memory could be failing me ) tongue.gif

i went to the Ripley's museum in Queensland when i was on holiday. Had some very interesting stuff in there.

I watch the show when it's on, but i't gets annoying. They dramatise everything
EG. "This guy is going to jump off a 1 metre ledge! He could trip, twist his ankle or even break his neck - CAUSING DEATH!!"
All the stunts the ppl do have to 'CAUSE DEATH!'
Gets annoying but there are some good things about the show. On nearly every show they have some babe in a bikini or a naked chick painting herself or something to do with half naked women. Gottat love that thumbsup.gif

It looks familure, but the facade looks different, taller with more graphics. I'm not sure it the same as I remember. But I do remember the corner entrance. I thought that was cool when I first saw it.

That's awful and I wish they wouldn't put that in there so I woudn't have to skip parts of the show! mad.gif thumbdown.gif

The Ripley's in Jackson Hole is not as impressive as I would have hoped. The best thing I found there was a big 15ft long blunt. Maybe it was just scaled down by the awesome majesty of the Grand Tetons or maybe it was a brand new building, I don't know

Bikini Girls are one of the reasons I still watch. Hahaha
Universal Absurdity
i went to the museum in ocean city md. and the bastards tricked me at the end. a one way revolving door. i coulda spent all day in there.
