I'm glad you put that little disclaimer in there. I am A Christian. But I don't think everyone who does not believe as I do is going to hell. They are all going to end up in the Bronx New York, At midnight, trying to hail a cab. With a hundred dollar bill.

But back to the thread. There are those, not just christians, that see evil everywhere.

I would like to know that either humans have been playing the longest running and best international hoax, or if it's done by aliens. Last possibility is that a higher being is doing it just for fun and to mess with everyones mind.

Yup. They wanted it banned in schools and the religious right got soooo upset when the movie and books became popular. Here is a woman that was on the english version of welfare, wrote some very good books, pulled herself up by the bootstraps, and all these yahoos can say is it's the work of the devil.

I found her work interesting, and her abilities very good.

If I ever abandon my faith, it won't be because somehow I was convinced I was wrong and there is no God. It will be because I'm embarrassed by these over-the-top holier than every one radicals.

I liked some of the books but I still haven't got round to reading her 4th one yet. The start's kind of boring.
