If some people on this forum have seen ghosts and swear they repeatedly see ghosts why dont they try and document these sightings? Im talking photos or video.

Also i know that if I was seeing spirits or extradimensional beings I would try to make contact, your damn right I would, I would ask for them to appear and try and be home alone and concentrate for them to come and see if I could "call" them. has anyone tried that?

er well, its not quite as easy as that, i have experienced breathing next to me but u cant really record that, also my friend sister sees spirits all the time, however the people round her see nothing so thats a bit difficult too!

it all depends on the person so your documentational plan just isn't gonna work!

I have to agree with Ambyglam .
I have had a few Ghostly sightings and phenomena over the years and about 3 times in the house I live in now.
The problem is that they are few and far between and when they do occur, you find that you are not ready for it as it happens when you are least expecting it.
I would love to catch something on tape, but as yet I have not found the opportunity to do so.

Ghost experiences sometimes cannot be documented because THEY AREN'T ghost experiences. Perfectly natural things in the environment along with altered or confused PERCEPTION can probably account for 50% of the "experiences" in this forum. And the occurance of an actual paranormal event is so rare we're lucky to see any footage or evidence of any of it.

Most paranormal experiences are just hear-say.

As for "trying to make contact with them" you're probably going to go through the same process a cockroach would have to go through to contact us. We can't possibly understand eachother.

Photraphs and video's might be hard to get , however , I agree that as Stix points out if it is a repeated case , why not take atleast notes . Keep diaries , who knows perhaps the phases of the moon or electrical storms do interfere with ghosties and such . Keeping information about the events that take place may be a lot more usefull than a photo or video anyway ..

Documenting any paranormal phenomena is both incredibly difficult and for many almost impossible. For those who have a few experiences to speak of the chances of an image or video footage would be impossible, most apparitions are both spontaneous and brief. Even a recurring presence would be hard to document in this way, unless you were equipped 24/7. Paranormal researchers will tell you how hard it is to collate evidence for paranormal phenomena.

I've tried communicating out loud, in thought, i.e. asking them to appear before my camera...

I guess that they are not around when I ask, can't hear me or are just plain camera shy!

The few things I have on film are here on this site. But unfortunately they aren't very impressive and I didn't notice any "cold breeze" or the such when I took the pics.

I guess my "antenna" for picking up that sort of thing is too weak.

Annnnnnnnyway, I'll be visiting a few very old graveyards here in the near future. Hopefully I'll be able to share a success story with you all!
