Link does not work.
Googled it and found a report, but could not activate that either.
Will it be shown in the news broacasts on television?

If they were that close to the creature, why would it have been so hard to get a better photo, besides a grainy, blue-white wormish looking thing?

1. There's no Storsjöodjuret.
2. The cameras were mounted on fixed locations apparently.
The news said the worm-like thing was shot by a "heat camera". Regardless, the movement seems very strange for an aquatic animal of considerable size, it moves as would an ordinary worm or snake.
Video on YoutubeAs you know, any video of a lake monster or sea monster will invariably be grainy, unfocused and low quality.
Let's hope Jan-Ove Sundberg has nothing to do with this, he has a habit of producing low-quality hoaxes and suspicious "sound recordings" from monster lakes around the world, but particularly in Sweden and Norway.

Well, just to play devil's advocate here for a moment, a big sea snake would move about the same as a small sea snake, just a lot more slowly, wouldn't you think?
That being said, I don't think this is a sea serpent. It's much smaller and closer to the camera. Plus it doesn't even look like it's moving on it's own. It's just drifting along with the current. So I'm gonna say it's just a bit of flotsam floating past the camera.

Well, it would perhaps move differently as it's dimensions would be much larger, and each movement slower and more forceful. It's also a fact that the lake in question is rather small - greatest depth 74 meter - and it is doubtful it contains sufficient food for any aquatic predator of considerable size. Plus, stories about the creature are few and far between, and perhaps even more inconsistent than reports of the Loch Ness monster, and in all not many photographs have been taken, all of which have looked like any drifting log or a wake from a boat.

I think it's to premature to say that it's a cryptid there's no way of ascertaining the size without that information it could be anything

No, it's true. He had some cancer, I think in his heart. That's what he said anyway. He went through surgery. Made a few rants on his webpage about how he was going to live to 83 because some fortune teller in Calcutta told him so, and that he was the reincarnation of a soldier who died in London 1934. He is a bit unstable so to say, as one can conclude from the fact that he emails threats to critics and accuses them of "paedophilia" (ironic - I'll let you guess at the rest of that story). He has several times clashed with the leader of the UFO Sweden organisation, Clas Svahn. I personally made an entry about him on a former blog, to which he replied under different names accusing me of being some person named "Becknord", (He meant Beckjord, that Bigfoot guy who recently died and was a bit unstable himself).
He eventually recovered from the cancer and continues to trick fools into funding "expeditions" which he then goes out on. He said he took a picture of a lake monster just a few weeks ago again. (

Geez, I posted this little article in the beginning because it looked mildly interesting, and now, reading yours (and other) replies, I begin to grasp what a caustic atmosphere is between people who are into this crypto-field.
It doesn’t really help to be engaged in personal quarrels more than in investigation, but as you said (and I believe you) – some of those people are a bit unstable.

I just didn't see anything impressive in this video. Granted I can't tell you what it is, but I'm not from there. But still doesn't really stand out as something Cryptid. But that's just my opinion.
